a simple thought

why the fuck do we torment ourselves sometimes

bent over a typewriter

pounding away on a keyboard

or for those of us that are fossils

write on a piece of paper, using a pen

why do we do it

Well I know why I do

i don't want my head to explode

it helps me relax

and of course

and

on that rare occasion

something that i write actually brings joy to someone

that is why I write
