Hello Everyone!

This story I mostly did for fun and the idea randomly pop in my head. Decided to just write the story down and see how it goes. Or stop for a bit when I work on another chapter for one of the stories or personal stuff. Whatever comes first.

Error Speaking

Error hissed as he fell down into the cloud. A cloud shouldn't of hurt him but at the moment can't think logically but get away from it all.

A ambushed.

He was ambushed by everyone! Ink Crew! The originals! The Copies! Even Nightmare gang and his group who joined Ink to get rid of him! It still crushed a part of him when he went to the castle and Nightmare gang attack him those months ago. Didn't see them after that but focus on keeping the balance. Maybe if he tried harder to explain what he does. Or if any of them bother to listen then maybe he wouldn't always be in pain.

But today he just snapped.

Was it the big ambushed? Was it the screams, threats and insults thrown at him? Was it finally getting so tired and weaken by everyone attack even when he pleaded for mercy that nobody listen or cared? Was it the feeling of not caring and his mind going blank of having enough?

It all that and everything from Fate to this day. If they don't want him then he'll finished the job for good!  Rolled over weakly and force himself up. He ignored everything he feel and couldn't feel. Took wobbling steps to the directions. Everything in his body cracking, dusting, and chipping away while trying to heal everything back up. But his movement making it worse but its fine. It'll all be over soon. Held his scarf and ruin jacket closer to his body as he drags himself near to his destination.

The void.

Error stared down at the black abyss of nothingness. Nothing just like him. Nothing that nobody wanted. A little part of him pleading to not do this. That there are still a few who cared for him. But he was so tired and just wants to rest. Can't he have that? Can't he be at peace for once!

Portal open.

Clench his hand and glance at the direction of Ink, Nightmare, Dream, Sans, Outer and Reaper.

"Error it's over just...Just give up." Ink yelled at him and looked a bit beaten down from the fight. All of them were tired, hurt and low on magic. Especially that last attack from all of them to stop Error for good. But it did nothing but hurt him. Hurt no killed.

"Oh but Ink that's what I'm about to do." Turn around to look at them all. He felt a bit pleased to himself how much he got them damaged and hurt. The lucky ones to survive. Well the lucky originals. 

That confused them all but few slightly concern as they see the position Error in.

"What you mean?"

"I give up."

"T-that's...That great!" Ink smile big. Maybe they got to him. Maybe the fight knock some sense into him how wrong it was. How many of them risked their lives and not going to take his destruction anymore?  He still need to pay for his crimes and those he hurt. But death impossible. But this is a good step. He took a step forward.

Error took one step back.

"Error?" Ink confused till he sees Outer look panicked and frighten.

"Error don't! Please! Please we can get you some help!" Outer begging him.

They were all so confused till they notice the edge. The edge to the Void. It's a punishment even they wouldn't cross.

But Error would.

"Help?'' Error chuckle weakly. "I try to help but I give up. Let you all suffer for this choice. I'm done."

"Suffer?" Dream repeated and panic he took another step. What he mean suffer? And why is he feeling positive emotions about this! Glance and see Nightmare look terrified and ready to run towards Error. Same with Reaper but to fly.

"It doesn't matter anymore." Another step backward. "You don't listen even when I try to explain. Nobody listen but they did. "

"Stop!" Reaper moving forward.

"Error get away from the edge!" Nightmare walking a bit closer and faster but Error keeps going.

"I'm sorry I hope it all quick and fast for you all." Error took one last step and fall backwards in the void. Not listening or caring as the other above yelled out for him. Smirk feeling Fate strings snapped and no longer able to control him anymore or ever. He close his eyes for a bit accepting his choice.

His hand got grab.

Eyes socket snap open and turn his head. Eyes widen in shock, surprised, and horror. "No, you shouldn't have come!"

"Together remember!" Lust yelled at Error. Pulled him into a hug holding his dear friend. The only thing he has left for family since his Papyrus passing. He should have been there and stop them but it was too late. It was just luck to find Error in Outertale. He saw the scene even if he was far away. So, it all and watch Error fall. He follow along and didn't care what happen anymore but be with Error.

Error stared and held him close. Tears leaking out holding one of his rare friends he has left.

Darkness taken over them both into the void.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

"Ready Ink?"

"Ready as I'll ever be!" Ink spin at his friend as he smile bright. A white uniform jacket that had red embroidery around his coat with different designs. The jacket was open up and could see red, green, orange, and blue buttons in different shapes repeating pattern till they stop. Underneath the jacket was brown vest with three different color buttons and shapes going down. A pair of white paints with three button in front of each side in different colors. Around his pants was a black belt. But the belt was actually his sash that had his vials. Didn't wants to bring the big sash and compromised with doing this smaller vials. A pair of brown sneakers he usually wore and decided to not change. The same with his gloves that he didn't change. A white mask covering half his face with different deck of cards designs and colors on the cheeks and forehead.

3 weeks passed when Error fell and everyone been celebrating since that the destroyer was gone. No, more death and destructions for the multiverse! No, fear and panic. Well besides from Nightmare gang and other occasions. The Chara's and Frisk been oddly quiet and not starting anything. That was a topic many are worry about and need to work with soon. But right now it was a time for celebration and moving forward.

One major celebration they decided a masquerade ball!

Nobody for sure who thought of the idea but admit it'll be interesting, fun and a change. They would host the event at a random AU Ink made for the occasion at a big castle ballroom. Different AU been getting ready making food, decorating, music and getting their clothes ready on time. It was such a big event that Ink decided many guest can come but would like a head count in time before deadline. Deadline came and many taken back how many will come. Now it was mostly just for the original AU to come while copy AU have their own share of fun. Which was fine for many to let them have their fun and not be worried anymore. One of main rules were have to wear a mask and no killing. Ink will make sure a portal open to Originals, certain time limits unless can already travel to it, to arrive there. Unless there early to help out.

Fun that Dream hope will get Ink out of the strange mood. He was still himself yet distant. He hasn't created much except well the Castle ball room area till other took over the rest. Now he still doodles here and there unless he had to talk with other and meet with copy AU. It wouldn't have seemed to bother many if Dream didn't feel the lack of positivity.

"Sun theme Dream. Really they figured you out immediate?" Ink teased lifting his mask off.

Dream outfit did indeed look sun theme wearing a golden-yellow coat that was shiny itself like a sun. A ivory shirt under the coat. Around his neck was a black necktie with a sun pin in the middle. His pants a similar color for the occasional black here and there. Black gloves with gold outlines around the finger tips. A pair yellow-white boots. He crossed his arms and sent a look through his gold and ivory design mask with a sun on top. "And I thought you actually be a fancier painter."

"What the supposed to mean? Never mind...Is your brother and the others still coming." Sees Dream flinch and rub his arm.

"Yeah their coming and will behave. I think after this they will leave Ink." He tried to get Nightmare to rethink everything and stop it. But no. He won't hear it. Won't hear him.

"How about we try one more time but tonight it's just about having fun."

"Yeah fun. Stretch mention Blue coming along."

"That great!"

They do miss their friend dearly. He barely would hang around them even after Error fell it just seem to worsen. Not even his brother can get near him unless being snapped at. Then again Stretch barely made some effort for what they saw since he was drinking a lot during Error death. Hopefully this party will brighten him up and wonder what he will dress up like.

"Oh Dream ill meet your there I gotta do a little thing first."

"I can wai- "

"No!" Ink watch Dream eye socket widen behind the mask. "I uh you don't need to wait. I'll meet you at the castle door. Besides they need at least one of us there to check and see everything ready."

"I guess." Dream muttered and look at Ink. "Okay meet you there."

Ink nods and watches Dream head out the door to the portal that will lead to the castle. He removes the mask off and look at it for bit till he grabs Broomie. With one swoop open a portal to another world.

The Anti-Void.

He walks in and glance around the place till he spotted it. Walks over to a chest and kneel down as he opens the chest up. In it were puppets. Lots of puppets that still surprised Ink that Error can create such adorable beings. He reaches down and picked up one in particular.

It was an Error puppet.

He did wonder at first why Error made a puppet of himself, less details compared to the others, but at the time didn't care. Well did care surprisingly, at the time, when tears slid down and held the puppet. Crying and demanding why Error have to jump. Why couldn't he give them a chance. Why was it only Error that made him so mad without the vials and other emotions he just couldn't comprehend with his lack of a soul.

He smiles at the puppet and bring it up in the air. "Today the day puppet Error for the masquerade! I really hope many put some efforts in their outfits and mask! At least make us figure who they could be.  But it will be so much fun. At least I hope so with food, people around talking. Will have random do a singing moment. Well karaoke if you thing about it just. Oh! Many of them brining in different monsters and people at this party as like second guest and such. Going to be so much fun! I hope I get to dance. A fun dance for sure. A slow dance? Well if someone asked me I'll probably say no. If anything I probably would have asked Error to dance."

The puppet staring at him with those mix match eyes.

Lower the puppet down and pet their head. "I wonder what Error would have dressed like. Probably dark or hidden but it would have probably looked good. I mean he did a good job making you all and stitch up his clothing that one time I saw. He...He really was talented. I bet he can surprise us all if we didn't figure out who he was. Well unless you heard his voice the glitching does give it away. Along with getting away to not be near anyone."

Held the puppet closer.

"But hey can't think of what happen now since he gone! No, party crashing from the destroyer himself now. Just a party for us!" Ink laughs and didn't notice how his eye socket twitch or kept the puppet closer. "Us! Just us and no one else...Oh! I better start getting to the party!"

Place the puppet back in the chest. Pat the head. Look around a bit and pushed a certain few puppets away from Error till he found his. Kept Ink puppet close to Error puppet.

"There we go! Don't have too much fun." Close the chest. He really needs to bring it back with him. But a small part of him urges to not to that for Error since he want it here in this empty white room. Shiver and made a note to really see about changing it up when he has the time. Open the portal up to his destination and walk in.

The chest stayed still and unmoving till a pair of long gloved fingers tap the chest.

Tired eye socket stared at the reflection right back at them. Couldn't help but sneer slightly seeing his form again. Brings back to much memories in his time in the village. But tonight the last time he will in a long time. Well at least for Dream and others to see.

Thought of his brother and disgust filled his mind. Damn idiot thinking it was Error for part of the reason. How they are related he well never know. Oh yes the tree. And if he actually remembers he didn't even meet Error and ate the apple even before meeting him! Shake his head when he thought about Error.

You need to stop thinking about him! He gone and no longer be back. Because you were scared.

Look down at the mask that was black and leather with a purple crescent moon in the center. That would cover only half his face. His outfit was a dark purple tail coat with gray moon crescent cuffs at the end. Over the coat was a black long-sleeved vest shirt with the collar stopping around the neck. In the middle was a gray strap with a gray button in the middle. That had another and another that goes all the way down. A pair of dark purple pants with black leather boots. Black gloves touches the mask till he picked it up to put over his face. He lift his head up at the reflections and chuckles darkly.

One last day of this alliance and they continued onward to rule these worlds.

Knock on the door.

"What!" Nightmare growled.

"Um Boss were ready. Are you?" Cross asked behind the door.

Nightmare took a small mental breath. "Yes, I'm coming out."

"Okay."

Look one last time at the mirror.

Would Error have like this?

Shake his head and chuckle weakly. No, his first instinct would have been who he was in this form till he felt his power. Plus, probably wouldn't realize he was asking him how he look for a party. Probably wouldn't know what to say since he not use to compliments and wouldn't know how to say one back. Hmm possible would have like the mask. Would he have like how he looked or rather him in his corrupt form? So, many questions but too late to answer.

All because he scared and didn't say anything.

Close his eyes and see those confused, and sadden mix match eyes staring at him when he attack and yell at him to get out of his castle. That he is now their enemy. He didn't think it was possible for look to look so betrayed. Error may not been a teammate but he helped them a lot. And what does he do throw that fragile trust in his face. But it was to survive! Survive and take over the multiverse.

But the ambushed and fall change so much.

Open his eyes and see he was almost turning back. Took deep breathes and it left immediately. He can't deal with now. Go to the ball. Leave when it is over. Continue forward with their plan. Leaves the room and open the door.

Cross right by him first. His outfit mostly white, black and bits of red around looking like a soldier. Plain white mask with red and black designs. Killer in black and purplish-gray outfit hiding his red chest. A full mask covering his face. Could best describe his outfit like a hunter. But the black in tear stains give it away. Horror is black, red and gray. A lot of red he wasn't sure was blood or not but oh well give it an extra ouch. A hockey mask over his face with a red smile. Dust outfit closely similar to his but black and gray. No, hood over his head but there was a pirate style hat with lots of torn parts and his scarf still on. A black mask cover just the top half of his face.

Nightmare doesn't know to hit his head or not. Had to give them credit they at least dressed up for this ball. But the mask just gives it away! Expect maybe Dust-Nope him doing the smile and eye glowing. "You boys ready?"

"Yes."

"Good. Horror where your brother?"

"Waiting by the portal but ready to go."

Nightmare allowed Horror brother to come along with him. Give Blood a different scenery. Along with hoping he stop asking Horror questions about Error and where is he. That still get to all them. When he asked such an innocent question and hope to see Error again, compared food, and just talking.

Error never hurt Blood and could have so many times. Just like them.

Nightmare held back a growl from these thoughts and push them away. "Come on we got a Masquerade we can't miss."

They go to the portal direction. Blood jumping around happily as he sees them. If it wasn't the small and certain on the outfit. He would look quite decent for the party. Nightmare barely paying attention but can hear Blood getting annoyed with his brothers and the others making puns around to set him off on purpose. Held back a chuckle on a certain few as they go one at a time through the portal.

"Sans! Get your lazy butt off before we miss it!" Papyrus yelled from behind the door.

"Paps just go-"

"Don't start! I got you in that outfit this morning! You said you would go! Undyne, Toriel and the others already ahead and went to the portal! Now come on brother."

Sans sighs and rub his face. Really wishing he didn't agree to this. He didn't want to go this masquerade ball. He just want to sleep. Sleep and get his mind occupied by anything else but him.

Tired smile on the glitching skeleton.

Why can't he get over him! It's been 3 weeks and he is gone. He can't do anything as much as he wants too. But the void. Shiver and holds himself closely. Look down at his outfit that was just white button up shirt, blue and black vest with yellow here and there. Lift up a plain blue mask with specks of yellow around the eye holes.

"Well gotta keep this deal for Paps." Gets up and headed to the door. Open it up before Papyrus knocks again.

"There you are brother! You ready!" Papyrus outfit, orange, white and red suit with his own coolness style to it. His red scarf still around his neck with an orange mask over his face. A pair of sunglasses over.

"Yeah bro I'm ready."

"Good." Papyrus smile and inside hope this party will lighten up his mood.

"Let's go have a BALL at the party.

"I...I don't know you anymore." Glared at his grinning brother as they headed off to meet the others.

"Bro-"

"Reaper just go enjoy the party. I don't mind taking the shift." Grim smile at Reaper as he finally got out the room. Got too see his outfit better. Well still looks like death but in a gothic Victorian suit style. A pair of pants he could see but the color and long suite hiding it well. A pair of leather gloves. A reaper mask over his face. "Seriously bro."

"It was either this or a normal skeleton mask." Lift the mask up and grin at him.

"Isn't a masquerade trying to figure out who the other is?"

"Bro were lucky nobody mess it up in 30 minutes."

"I guess...Bro do try to have fun."

"Oh yes no touching anyone I'll make sure of it. No, dancing. Hope nobody dies that would stink." Chuckle darkly and look at his brother giving him a concern look. "Bro I'm just joking."

"You been joking a lot more than lately."

"That's my job. Speaking of jobs-"

"No, I haven't found anything. Void or no void he just not here."

"That stinks." Put the mask back over his head.

"Brother he gone."

"I know I saw it."

"Then why keep searching."

"Peace that he gone for good."

"Is that the real answer?"

Silence.

"I need to go bro. Got a party I'm dying to miss."

"That was terrible."

"Just like me." Reaper grinned and teleported to the destination.

"Hey Blue!" Outer called out to Blue spotting him in the hallway.

Outer came a bit early to the castle only to help his brother and Muffet delivered treats. Then they decided to just stay and get changed here. Outer coloring scheme like his original outfit blue, yellow cloak like suit. With pieces of white with fluffy clouds around his neck like a mocking version neck tie. His mask only cover half his face that was mainly yellow with glitter here and there representing stars.

Outer almost didn't recognize Blue in his outfit if his mask wasn't off. He was actually impressed how great he looks. He look like a musketeer with the main color of his vest a dark gray, the under shirt was white, black pants, with dark gray combat boots, gray leather gloves that he notice have light blue swirl designs. A light blue cape or clock wrap that was hanging on his right side with a thin leather buckle wrap around his chest. On the clock was a white star that was fading in the middle with a circle around it. A black belt wrapped around his pants with a silver buckle that look like a gaster blaster. Notice a handle that look oddly similar to Blaster hammer but in sword sheath. On top his head a greyish-white musketeer hat with a blue feather. His blue bandana still wrap around his neck bit tuck under the vest making it part of the out.  In his hand was a mask that would cover his top face and part of his cheeks. He could have mistaken for metal instead of dark silver with designs underneath the eyeholes.

If the mask wasn't off Outer wouldn't have expect this was Blue. He looked very mature and older. Didn't notice how Blue eye sockets twitch till they were big and bright.

"Hiya Outer! Like your outfit."

"Yours too! Almost wish I didn't turn this way and spotted you. Going to surprise many tonight."

"MWHAHAHA the magnificent Blue going to make sure of that." Blue grinned brightly.

Outer smile seeing Blue happy. Quite frankly it's been awhile he even scene Blue even after Error-

Stop! Stop! Don't think about him you coward!

"Outer?"

"Huh?" Outer look and see Blue tilt his head at him.

"You didn't hear me?"

"Oh? I'm sorry Blue. What you say?"

"I said-"

"Blue where are you!"

Outer move his head and see, who he bet is Stretch even in his outfit, running towards them. Unaware of Blue hand twitching and expression darken.  Stretch up closer and his outfit, to Outer at least, not as great compared Blue. There some efforts here and they on the suit making him like a medieval commoner. His bronze mask lifted as they look at Blue with worry and bit protectiveness.

"I been looking for you."

"And like I said before if you listen I was coming out here." Blue look at Stretch with a bland expression.

"Just making sure you safe."

"I'm fine Stretch."

Outer really feeling out of place and felt tension in the air. Blue looked quite tired and annoyed being by Stretch. Stretch seems to not pick it up at all and checking Blue over if he was injured. "So, um guest will be arriving soon."

"Cool! Let's see who here and guess who could be who."

"Not too far away Blue-"

"Stretch it's a party. So, let me enjoy it." Blue walking away from Stretch. Outer takes that cue for him to follow along. Glance and see Stretch following as well.  Look back in front and just focus ahead. Just enjoy the party.

Blue and Outer were on the second floor looking over the rails at the huge ball room area with decorations and lights everywhere. A huge two doors that are open up as guest will arrive through, as they passed the hallway and drop off anything if need be. Along with making sure no weapons. But they will amazing art as they wall through along with glass windows. Once that has done and passed the doors they'll arrive to the ballroom.

A stage podium was made as monsters and few people getting instruments, along with a music booth place as well to give them a break and put music on. Behind the band was a glass stain window that look like a waterfall was flowing down. Stairs on each side of the music that leads to the second floor which they are at.  Leads up and lead down a hallway straight away. But make a curve to circle around the whole room and ending where the other stair case leads. That too goes down another hallway. The curve circle did have rails, so nobody would fall of course, with columns on top circling as well. Art station on different walls along with small glass windows. With more hallways leading to different areas. But a few have just plain dead ends. Or going down a different turns with extra stairs cases to go further up around the castle. To explore, watch and a bit of space of need be that had many rooms for restrooms, a few rooms to rest since people stayed to get ready. Across the glass stain waterfall is the big entrance door. But in the middle was a big window to watch outside the entrance and can see the sun almost going down. But enough light before the lights outside turn on to see portals opening and few guest already arriving to the first doors till they reach the big doors. It you looked up above on the ceiling you can see it was painted like it was half morning with the sun. Then it lead to nighttime. But something tells you it'll change later on. 

There were few sitting tables around to look at the dance floor. Along with a few stations around to get a quick drink, snacks with waiters and waitress that are helping out. But attached to the ballroom was another room with extra tables and chairs with a big buffet table of different foods to eat. A dessert bar prepared and ready to be devoured. Along with bar to get not just alcoholic drinks but other drinks. Another set of small doors lead to another bar itself a little further away in a quitter area to get a drink with a few chairs and smoking areas.

Back in the ballroom there is a set of doors open that lead to a podium with stairs going down to a garden. The garden was big from where you can see out with a water fountain with flowers around, benches and a few lantern lights set out to be outside. Behind the fountain lead to different areas of the garden to walk and travel around to see what you can find. It was quite big and wide that it possible you won't see someone if they go another way. 

Back inside the castle Ink smile as he says hello to a few guest who arrived early. Being polite as the creative guardian should be. Dream by his side helping him out as his smile and greets guest. The two greeting and teasing who can who be under a few masks. The puns really give it away, along with certain Undynes and Alphys with their battle cries. There have been a few people they for sure haven't meet like different humans and monsters that became guest and enjoy the party. Music began to play as the crowd picked up and arrived. Certain guest Ink and Dream picked up immediately like Nightmare group. Blood was a surprised but didn't say anything as the party was for fun. Along with not wanting to deal with Nightmare and Horror with an argument. Besides that it seem to be going well. Talk with a few guest and let the rest come in.

Yes, enjoy the party Ink. We all deserve this. The Multiverse deserve to party to celebrate the death of the Destroyer.

"Felt" a strange sensation of disgust but where? Why? Who?

A lone portal appeared as two other closed up as guest approach the entrance of the castle. Two figures came out the portal and stand still staring straight ahead.

One of the two figure was tall standing around 6'2 at least. They wore a fitted long black coat around their frame. On the inside was green with gold at the outline tip of the tail coat. The collar from the jacket risen up. Around the end of the sleeves were white long cuffs with gold embroidery. A pair of white smoky gloves. A white smoke vest that was button up with embroidered designs in the center and around the edges of the vest. In the middle of the vest were two gold snakes, with their eyes having a green gem, circling each other as a buckle. A gray belt holding the snake emblem. Pair of gray pants with gold stripes on the sides of the pants. Black leather boots, that raised mid-calf, with gold buttons on the side. Around the boot opening with golden designs wrapping around the calf. Around their neck was a gray-black ascot tie cravat. On their face was a full mask-helmet that was smoky white. The eye hole was curve as they silted down. In the center bottom of each eye hole was a thin line that goes all the way down till they reach the center to make a smile. In the center forehead was a gold circlet with a green gem in place.

The last of the two was shorter by only 5'6 in height. The dress was midnight blue with tiny star like designs fading around. The little stars twinkling with the colors of gold, silver and a bit of black. The top was the same color but around the neck all the way down to the wrist was a lace black material. If you could look closely you would notice how it would glimmer and shine in certain areas. But couldn't see a part of their skin. The skirt part was a A-line style. The dress had a center slit that stop where the mid thighs stop. Above the skirt was a lace black veil with stars at the bottom that were silver. The veil split at the center spreading out. Going further up where a blue-purple scarf belt wrapped around their waist. Holding the belt scarf was resting on the side hip. The coloring was hard to tell as it changed to silver then gold. At the bottom of the star was three different red string with little purple orbs. A pair black gloves under the sleeves that blended into the outfit. Around their neck wrap a blue sheer scarf with tail behind the back stop at the elbow. Holding the scarf was behind the neck. It was silver heart holder. At their legs you can what look like either black stockings or leggings with star design. A pair of black boots that stop mid-calf with blue lace strings. On top of their head that stop at the shoulder was a black cloth like veil that connected to the mask. The mask was porcelain white that covered their whole face. No, mouth expect curved slit eyes. On the left bottom side cheek were 4 stars. Two of each connect to the other two like from a string. Side by side.

The two figures stare at the castle till the taller one offer their arm to the shorter one. They took the arm. The two of them walk at the same time as they headed to the castle together.

Will everyone move on this night or torture themselves? Who are these mysterious people? You probably already know one of the two. But who could the other be? We shall see. But if you can figure it out in the next chapters. I'll probably let you do a little thing. But we shall see.
