The fog seemed to return as soon as Snow somehow recovered. Although, the fog was much thicker this time as Ruby felt as though she was alone.

Blake: AAARRRGHHHH!!!!

Ruby: Blake!

She looked towards the direction of her friend but received a grim response. Blake was throw directly in front of her with blood pouring into the snow.

Snow: Now it's only the two of us.

The fog quickly disappeared and Ruby was suddenly flung outside the remains of the cathedral. She regained balance and slid to a halt before quickly jumping back to avoid Snow's leaping attack. Even as Ruby dodged, a wave of flame was suddenly unleashed from the woman's blades.

Ruby jumped back even further and as she halted, she looked at Snow to discover something frightening. There were wings of fire appearing behind the white haired woman, the same wings from Corona's angel form. Although something was odd, there also seemed to ice radiating from the wings as well as black wisps of energy.

Ruby: *in thought* I only wanted to learn more about my father... How did it even come to this?

As she was about to prepare an attack, Snow was already on the offensive by sending walls of ice and fire towards the silver eyed teen.

Snow: All of them were connected... Yet I was unable to draw upon the fourth...

Ruby was confused by the faunus's words until she glanced at Corona.

Ruby: *in thought* She did mention that she sisters... I don't remember how many...

Ruby shook her head as she moved in for an strike with Crescent Rose but it was easily blocked by Snow's kukris. The woman kicked away the teen and attempted a rising attack with roaring flames. Since Ruby was able to dodge once again, she summoned her father's sword and leapt in the air with a readied slice. She swung the weapon only for it to be easy parried and was thrown back to the ground.

Snow then unleased a wave of fire and ice that were mixed with wisps of black and white energy. The red cloaked teen jumped high in the air to dodge but the black wisps seemed to seek after her presence. She failed to notice the darkened energy as they quickly made contact.

Ruby: Urgh!

The black waves were giving a burning sensation to her leg as they continued to rise through her leg. Using the rifle in Crescent Rose, she fired a round to send herself soaring into a random direction. As she landed, the pain in her left foot continued to remain. It was unbearable as the burning seemed to grow worse and spread throughout her body until she fell to the floor.

Snow took the opportunity to move in for the kill but she was suddenly stopped by a wall made of white energy.

Corona: You will not harm her any further!

Snow turned around to find the High Priestess struggling to stand with her staff. The black haired faunus laid next to her without a single scratch on her.

Corona: Rise Ruby Rose! Claim your father's fire, his will, his light, his desire to protect all of his loved ones!

A bright flash was shown before Snow's eyes as a pillar of light emerged from Ruby's fallen form. The dark energy that consumed her quickly vanished without a trace as she stood back on her feet.

Corona then fell to her knees, allowing the wall of light disappear.

Corona: *In thought* I've restored her link to her power as well as unlocking the piece of her father's soul from within...

As soon as the wall vanished, Ruby acted quickly and lunged forward with her weapon. A white light enveloped the entire area as the silver eyed girl ran forward.

With a single swipe of Crescent Rose, she sliced into the ruined earth as the white haired faunus barely dodged to the side. Snow turned back to witness the ground sliced into as if it was nothing.

The silhouette of Ruby can be seen slowly approaching her. Although, Snow saw two more approaching alongside the red cloaked teen. In her mind, she saw the images of you and Summer standing beside Ruby.

Snow: S-summer? (Y/N)?

She shed a tear seeing her friends but they quickly vanished as Ruby made her move. Snow barely blocked an attack from her scythe but she didn't expect for Ruby to somehow kick her away when the two were still locked.

Ruby then proceeded to unleash a barrage of quick attacks using every weapon in her arsenal, sword, scythe, and dagger. The rabbit faunus was having a hard time keeping up with the inhuman speed of attacks.

After one final block, Snow found an opportunity to attack but as soon ad she raised her blades, Ruby vanished within the light. The faunus was left confused until she felt herself being thrown into the air. As she was in mid air, she found Ruby falling from high above with her scythe ready for one final strike. As she slowly closed her eyes, she saw Ruby's weapon glowing with a bright flame.

The final attack connect as the silver eyed teen passed through Snow. As the faunus fell back to the ground, Ruby looked at her scythe to find a black silhouette in the shape of the rabbit faunus. The silhouette shakily looked at Ruby since it was impaled into the ground. The light that continued to envelope the ruins began to eat away at the darkness before it completely disappeared.

The light soon faded away as Ruby's power slowly receded. She let out a sigh of relief before staggering towards Snow, who is now unconscious.

Corona: ... Whatever darkness she held is now gone... I'm proud of you Ruby.

Said person lightly smiled until she heard the familiar calls of Ranger. Blake approached Ruby while looking at the fallen woman.

Blake: How do you think he's going to react?

Corona: ... The question is... How is she going to react?

Ruby: You're right... We don't know if Snow will be the same as she used to be a long time ago...

Blake: One can only hope.

Meanwhile

(Y/N): Hmph, she banished Salem's influence from her... No matter... I've already claimed the one from the fourth...

As you looked upon them from a distant ruined tower, four cloaked figures stood behind you. You lightly shook your head before turning away to leave.

(Y/N); Let's go... They're not the ones we are after.

All five of you then suddenly disappeared in a black mist that traveled across the ocean.
