The black SUV pulled up to the cluster of police cars and people, stopping gently. Rossi, Morgan, and Prentiss all got out at the same time and walked over to a few of the officers. "Find anything new?" Rossi asked on of the women.

"No sir." She replied. "We really appreciate you guys coming out."

"Of course." Prentiss smiled, taking her turn to shake her hand. "Could you get a few others to lead each of us to one of the disposal sites?"

She nodded and motioned for two men to come over. "I need you to take Agent Rossi to the West spot and you take Agent Morgan to the East?"

Both men nodded and began leading the agents away. "I can show you the one right over here." Prentiss nodded and followed her closely, inspecting everything as they passed it.

"Here we are." The woman stopped after a while and pointed to a marked off square. Prentiss nodded and walked over, slipping her gloves on and ducking down under the yellow tape. She poked and prodded at the earth inside the square and lifted a few of the rocks.

"What are you expecting to find under there? You think bugs did it?" The woman joked.

Prentiss smiled. "No. Just being cautious." She paused and looked up, pointing lightly at the woman. "Excuse my asking, but do I know you from somewhere?"

The woman shook her head sharply. "No. I've never met you before."

Prentiss nodded and held up her hand in apology before glancing back again. "Are you sure? You look- so familiar."

The woman laughed. "Guess I just have one of those faces."

Prentiss looked back at the ground and began sifting through a pile of leaves. "So, ma'am-"

"No! Not ma'am. Call me Shelly.Ma'am makes me feel like my aunt."

Prentiss froze and smiled timidly at her before quickly regaining her composure. "H-have you worked here long. That was a stupid question, of course you have."

Shelly frowned, yet still forced a smile. "Why's that?"

"Oh. I didn't mean to offend you, but I didn't think they would send a newbie to control a crime scene."

"I've been here four years."

"Wow." Prentiss raised her eyebrows. "What- uh what did you do before?"

"Oh, you know. This and that."

Prentiss smiled and rose to her feet. "Been there. I think I'm done. I'll just go see if they found anything."

"I'll walk you." Shelly started.

"No, no! That's fine." She laughed. "I just mean I can manage."

"Okay." She replied and began walking away, glancing over her shoulder a few times.

Prentiss exhaled quietly and pulled out her cell phone, quickly punching in a few numbers and glancing up periodically. She pressed the phone to her ear and waited. The second she heard the phone click signaling that someone had answered she began to speak. "I need you to meet me in Alaska. You won't believe who I think just saw."
