Kartik gestured her to go ahead..

Naira firmly held the stick.. Held the collar of the rapist and pulled him up..

She firmed her hands on the stick.. Started breathing heavily.. Let out a loud shout as much as possible and with all her energy she started beating him, on his arms, legs, waist, back, shoulder..

She looked like she was letting everything out..

Neil got scared looking at her a bit..

Kartik sensed it and went to him..and hugged him from side..

Kartik was looking at her with proud.. He had tears in his eyes and a slight smile in his lips..

Naira kept on attacking him..

Kartik saw she was breaking down by now..

Before she fell down, Kartik went and held her..

Naira let herself into his hug..

Kartik tightened his grip around her..

Naira : Nahi nahi mujhe - mujhe (huffing) mujhe aur marna hai..

The man was already lying in the floor in pain almost with minimal senses..

Kartik (calming her) : Bass Naira bass! Bass..

Naira : Nahi..

Kartik again hugged her and made her calm..

The officer took the rapist inside..

Kartik called Neil.. he left her and let Neil hug her sister..

Neil instantly hugged her tightly and Naira cried out her heart..

Kartik too was having tears in his eyes wiping at times..

After sometime Kartik made the brother-sister duo stand..

Kartik : Chalo.. Ghar chalte hai ok..

They came outside.. When Swarna came their running..

Swarna : Kya hua.. Tune aise kyun bulaya (seeing Naira) hey bhagwan isse kya hua.. Kya hua baccha itna pale lag rahi ho..

Kartik : Maa ghar jaake sab batata hu.. maine aapko isliye yahan bulaya hai ki aap indono ko ghar leke jaao.  Main aur ek kaam niptake aate hu..

Swarna : Arey par hua kya.. Aur tujhe abhi kya niptana hai..??

Kartik : Maa promise ghar aake sab batata hu.. Aap Naira ki halat dekh rahi ho na.. Aap isse leke jaao..

Swarna nodded..

Swarna : Aao baccho..

Kartik turned to go inside the police station again but someone stopped him from behind holding his hand..

Kartik turned around..

Kartik : Kya hua Naira..

Naira was still processing whatever happened..  She needs Kartik right now.. Somewhere Kartik also uunderstands that.. But he was helpless.. he has to do the remaining work now..

Naira (weakly) : Tum ghar nahi aayoge?

Kartik (cupping her chin) : Bass yahan aur ek kaam hai.. Uske baad tumhare paas..

Naira : Kaisa kaam??

Kartik : Tum jao na Naira.. Please.. Main milta hu kuch der mein.. Hmm??

Naira : Hmm..

Kartik : Take care okay?

Naira : Hmm..

Naira went to the car.. They left.. Kartik went inside to the officer..

Kartik looked at the rapist behind the bars.. it seemed he would kill him with his eyes only if he could..

Officer : Sir court procedures..

Kartik : I know.. Get it started.. Jald se jald saza honi chahiye..

Officer : Yes sir.. Sir ek request thi.. Please aap higher authority ko complain mat kijiye.. Abb se saare cases ko hum importance denge and we will try our best to solve them as fast as possible..

Kartik : Well then, i won't.. But remember i will always keep a check.. chuk hui to complain.. Every citizen should get the same treatment.. not only with the big names..

Officer : Sure sir..

Kartik : Hm.. Aur ek case hai aaplogo k liye..

Officer : Sir?

Kartik : Come i'll explain..

Swarna took good care of them.. Especially Naira.. Though Naira was lost all the time..

Naira : Aunty kya main abhi jake so sakti hu thoda?

Swarna : Arey yeh to main hi tujhe batane jaa rahi thi beta.. Jaa jake so ja.. Neil beta aap bhi jaao..

They both went to their rooms..

Swarna : Pata nahi kya ho raha hai.. Aane do aaj iss ladke ko.. Arrey maa ko nahi bata sakta.. Main bhi to madat karti. 

Kartik : Woh to aapne bina jane bhi kia na Maa..

Kartik came when swarna was talking to herself..

Swarna (turning around) : Agar pata hota to aur zyada kar sakti thi na.. Main naraz hu tujhse..

Kartik : Kya maa aap bhi naraz ho rahi ho.. Shayad Naira bhi mujhse naraz hai subah vali baat ko lekar..

Swarna : Naira naraz hai? Mujhe to aisa nahi laga.. par mujhe kuch samjh nahi aa raha.. Tu bata raha hai ki..

Kartik : Batata hu.. Par pahle bolo Naira kaha hai.. Room mein? Usne kaha tha ghar aate hi usse milne k liye.. Main milke aata hu..

Swarna : Nahi.. woh so gayi hai.. chinta mat kar.. Tu sone se pahle uske paas jana.. Pahle mujhe bata kya hua hai..

He agreed and sat down.. He told everything to his mom about what Naira faced and still facing..

Swarna broke down hearing all this.. Kartik too was having tears explaining everything..

Swarna : Yeh bacchi..

Kartik hugged her mom and consoled her.  Then he told about today's incident what happened in college, in police station, and also what he has planned for tomorrow..

Swarna : Beta! I'm so proud of you..

Kartik : pahle ke dino mein Maine kitna  galat samajha usse Maa! Sabke jaisa.. aapne usko itna pyaar dia.. Mujhe ussi se kaafi bharosa mila..

Swarna : yehi to problem hai na.. Rumours sunke sab.. (sigh) khair.. abb jo karne jaa raha hai kal tu uspe dhyan de.. Ok??

Kartik nodded..

Swarna : Tu bhi bahut thak gaya hai na.. Jaake so jaa.. (smilingly) Aur haan mil lena apni Naira se..

Kartik was shocked first, then blushed..

Swarna ruffled his hair and went to her room..
