She's Okay

Third Person

"You need to listen to me and prepare for what I have to tell you," Drew exhaled, getting ready to explain everything to Imogen. He can feel each puff of air caress her cheek when she exhaled. Lucas watched the scene unfold in front of him, letting Imogen release the rage inside of her. Drew's heart ached in his chest at the sight of Imogen's tear strained face.

Rebel was holding a flashlight in his one hand and an enormous bag in the other, flashing his light towards the stairs that led to an underground room. His foot creaked with every step on the olden wooden stairs. Finally, he reached the candlelit room, gently placing the bag next to her. A crystal chandelier hung over her, but no electricity was available in the room.

Several lit candles surrounded her head, brightening up the dark warily room. Rebel kneeled down next to her body, admiring her beauty and praying the plan worked. His hand reached out to stroke her freckled cheek, placing her curled brown hair behind her ear. Rebel was too busy lightening up the rest of the candles to notice her chest rising.

Frankie's eyes fluttered open, exhaling a large breath. She was trying to control her breathing and take in everything that had occurred. Rebel heard her movement, turning around and rushing over to her body.

He kneeled down, rubbing her shoulders. "Hey, hey, hey," he comforted her. Frankie's frantically breathing calmed down at the site of the boy who owned her heart. Her hand reached for his arm while he kept assuring her everything was fine. She used his arm to help herself up and wrapping her arms along his back. He instantly hugged her back tightly, taking in the smell of her pomegranate perfume.

Frankie released her tears in his loving embrace. Her tears kept coming like a river. She held him thoroughly, the sound of his laughter bringing even more tears to her eyes. The guilt of what she caused Imogen to go through tonight was almost intolerable, but she had too. Now Frankie was finally able to be free.

-----

"Frankie had to die. Taisla taking over Kylie's body was a complete blindside, and she wasn't prepared. Taisla had control over her and she wasn't going to stop," Drew said, watching the tears dripping down Imi's confused face. "We weren't going to be able to stop her tonight until she knew Frankie was dead. She had to believe it," he explained. Imogen, still trying to make connections to everything, dried her runny nose with her sleeve.

"Katherine was able to help her cast a spell," Drew said.

Imogen's mouth was open wide as she held in her breath subconsciously. "Frankie's alive," Drew blurted out leading to Imi exhaling the breath she was holding in. After his speech, Drew left the room and started walking to the stairs. Imogen turned her head around, looking into Lucas's confused expression. They both felt a sigh of relief knowing that Frankie was still breathing.

Lucas followed Drew down the hallway, "You know it would have been nice if you told me," Lucas said, slightly bothered that he was left out of the plan.

Drew turned around to face him. "How do I know when you're going to go blabbing things to your girlfriend," Drew commented, disconnecting their eye contact and proceeding to go up the stairs.

"Do you understand what you just put her through?" Lucas asked, leaning on the wall just before the stairs started. Lucas was there to see the pain she was in, the only thing he could do was embrace her and let the torrent tears soak into his shirt.

"See! This is why I didn't tell you because you would have never been able to go along with it. Don't get me wrong Lucas, I don't mind being the bad guy. I'll make all the tough decisions while you're too busy worried about collateral damage," Drew said, fixating on Lucas who just tilted his head. "I'll even let her hate me if she wants," Drew stated, beginning to go up the stairs.

Before going up, Drew peered down. "At the end of the day, I'm going to be the one to keep her alive," Drew scoffed, his face tensing up while looking into Lucas. Lucas watched him disappeared up the stairs, leaving Lucas wandering into his thoughts. Lucas pursed his lips, tilted his head, and took in everything Drew said.

Daenerys offered Imogen some comfortable clothes to change into. After Imogen processed what happened, she explained everything to the loveable couple. Robert was shocked to learn Taisla tried to attack them during the dance. It made sense, however; the ritual is only weeks away.

All the supplies were set for that day, now they just had to make sure everyone is kept safe till then. Robert wished he could take away all the stress from Imogen. She was just a young girl who was forced to take on a role. It's not going to get any easier after the ritual, Imogen will have to learn how to manage all her powers.

Robert feared for everyone's safety when it came to the ritual. Just the thought of losing his future wife made his lungs compressed against his chest. Right now, she was smiling. But will he be able to have her beaming forever? His days before his soulmate was depressing, and that's how it would be without her.

"Imogen! Rebel texted you saying Frankie is awake," Daenerys yelled through the door. Currently, Imogen was struggling to get her dress off and slip into Daenerys's clothes. The clothes were extremely loose on her. Unlike Daenerys, Imogen is flimsy with not nearly any curves. Imogen unlocked the door, grabbing her phone to text Rebel.

To-Rebel

Video call, please!

Imogen wouldn't be able to believe she's alive until she had seen her. She knew Drew wouldn't joke around with her, but she had to see her. The same thing goes with Taisla, Imogen could have gone on believing Taisla didn't exist. However, reality sank in tonight, finally meeting the vile woman with her own two eyes. She couldn't go on acting like her life and her loved one's lives weren't in danger anymore. Suddenly, her phone started buzzing in her hand, reading Rebel on it.

Imogen rushed to the couch and clicked the answer button. Once the screen loaded, showing Frankie's face covered in tears. "Frankie," Imogen smiled, wiping her dried-up tears.

"Imogen," Frankie immediately released more tears. "Imogen, I'm so sorry." The guilt still weighed over her, she didn't want to hurt Imogen but she had no time to let her know of the plan.

"It's okay, it's okay," Imogen reassured her. Imogen's heart blossomed seeing her best friend, her sister, still breathing. "I just needed to see you to believe it," She wiped her tears that kept escaping her eyes.

"I wanted to tell you.... but there wasn't enough time," Frankie cried, receiving a hug from Rebel. However, right now she craved a hug from her best friend, her family.

"It's okay! Drew explained everything," Imogen said, "What's the plan now?"

Frankie swiftly moved her curls behind her ear. "Katherine told Rebel about this house. I should probably stay here so Taisla doesn't find out," Frankie answered.

"Are you sure? Are you going to be okay alone? It looks creepy in there," Imogen giggled, laying her body down onto the couch.

"I'll stay with her," Rebel volunteered.

Frankie eyebrows instantly shot up. "You don't have to..."

"It's fine, I called out of work. I'm not letting you out of my sight," Rebel answered, causing Frankie's cheeks to flush pink. Imogen awkwardly listened, still noticing the chemistry between them, but didn't plan to comment on it. "Imogen, you should stay at Robert's house. I feel more comfortable with you being surrounded by other specials," Rebel stated.

"You're right, I'll make sure to come visit you soon, Franks," Imi said.

Lucas planned to drive Imogen back home to help her pack a suitcase, then drop her back here. Despite the pain Drew caused Imogen tonight, she regretted putting her hands on him.

"I'll be back," Imogen told Lucas.

Lucas pressed his key, unlocking his car. "Sure, I'll be in the car waiting for you," Lucas pecked her lips and walked out the door. Imogen swallowed her pride and walked up to the room Drew was staying in. Robert mentioned Drew was staying over the night since he wasn't in the mood to drive back.

Imogen strolled up the red carpet staircase, searching all the rooms until she found his. Drew had just finished using the bathroom, having the exit lead into his room. From the corner of his eye, he noticed Imogen standing in the doorway and instantly causing his eyes to roll.

"Ugh look! I told you Taisla had to think she was dead. We needed your reaction to be genuine," Drew said, taking his jacket off and dropping it on the bed that took up most of the room.

"I understand why you what you did," Imogen admitted, leaning against the wooden frame. Drew furrowed his brow, trying to figure out if he heard her clearly. "Taisla was fooled and Frankie is alive," Imogen smiled at her name.

Drew walked to the cabinet filled with alcoholic drinks, pouring himself some in glasses cup. "Well, let's cheer to that," Drew mockingly grinned, slipping the satisfying powerful taste. Oh, how he missed his drinking benders, he thought.

Imogen entered the room, strolling closer to Drew and leaned on his wooden bed frame, "Let's just get one thing straight! Frankie will not die for me, I will not allow that to happen," Imogen voiced sternly.

Drew's eyes narrowed. "We need to kill Taisla, remember. The real one who we should be expecting to show up soon. Now that she thinks Frankie is dead. It's the only way to ensure your safety. She's the only one who can do it," Drew answered.

Imogen exhaled, walking closer to the fool. "We will find another way," Imogen replied. She will not gamble the lives of her loved ones, the guilt will drag her down.

Drew scoffed. "I hope so."

Imogen stroked her hair, placing it behind her ear and exhaled. "Look, I shouldn't have hit you," Imogen said, gazing into his emerald eyes.

"Apology accepted," he smirked, chugging the rest of alcohol quickly, enjoying the burning sensation. Imogen laughed, realizing how easy it was to appeal to the boy. "Let's be clear about something. If it ever comes down to you and Frankie, I will gladly let her die," he admitted. His features along with how stern his voice showed he was serious about it. "I will always choose you!"

Imogen raised her brow, exhaling another breath. Imogen wished he was lying but knew deep down, he's always going to risk everyone else's lives for her. Right now, Imogen can finally see how much the boy cared about her. She sighed. "Goodnight Drew." Drew repeated the same back to her.

Imogen slowly walked out of the room, stopping by the door frame to turn back and make eye contact with him one last time. Imogen knew the only solution left was to talk to someone she rather stays away from. She's the only person who could have been alive as long as Taisla's had.

Imogen doesn't really trust, but at this point, she's all she had. Maybe since she cared about her brother that she will be willing to help her and not trick her. Imogen walked into the bathroom, making sure to lock the door. She pulled her phone out and clicked on her contacts.

After several rings, it stopped. "Hi Katherine, It's Imogen."
