The intercom crackled to life once more.

"ℍ𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕠, 𝕥𝕖𝕤𝕥 𝕤𝕦𝕓𝕛𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕤!"

"ℕ𝕠𝕥 𝕪𝕖𝕥! 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕪 𝕨𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕤𝕦𝕡𝕡𝕠𝕤𝕖𝕕 𝕥𝕠 𝕗𝕚𝕘𝕦𝕣𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣!"

With that, the intercom went silent. The whole building rumbled as a wall, otherwise ordinary, came down, revealing a new shop and a blocked off stairwell.

Professor Kukui began to protest, with several others, at that demand. Especially at being called "test subjects."

"𝕆𝕙, 𝕞𝕪. 𝕎𝕖'𝕣𝕖 𝕟𝕠𝕥 𝕘𝕠𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕠 𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕕𝕒𝕣𝕜 𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣, 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕜𝕟𝕠𝕨. 𝕁𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕠𝕟 𝕥𝕠 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕟𝕖𝕨 𝕤𝕙𝕠𝕡-𝕨𝕖 𝕨𝕠𝕟'𝕥 𝕥𝕖𝕒𝕣 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕒𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕥."

Kukui in particular kept protesting, trying to get others from going to the shop.

"𝕋𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕛𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕨𝕠𝕟'𝕥 𝕕𝕠. 𝕎𝕖 𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕥𝕠 𝕡𝕦𝕟𝕚𝕤𝕙 𝕪𝕠𝕦, 𝕕𝕠𝕟'𝕥 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕜𝕟𝕠𝕨?"

"𝕆𝕗 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕤𝕖. 𝔻𝕖𝕥𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕥𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕡."

With those words, Kukui began to scream as his body twitched and jerked in horrid shapes. He screamed for help, but those unlucky enough to witness the spectale were too shocked to move.

Finally, it all stopped for a moment. Kukui tried to catch his breath-but lost it when the chip exploded, scattering parts of his body all over the main hall. His fingers still twitched after they landed.

"𝕎𝕖 𝕙𝕒𝕥𝕖 𝕘𝕖𝕥𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕞𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕪...𝕓𝕦𝕥 𝕨𝕖 𝕙𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕥𝕠 𝕕𝕠 𝕨𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕨𝕖 𝕞𝕦𝕤𝕥. 𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕪𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕖𝕝𝕤𝕖, 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕚𝕕𝕖𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕒 𝕨𝕒𝕣𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘."
