"CAPTAIN!"
startled, the captain woke up blinking a couple of times.
"Huh.. am I in hell?" Wate thought, which darin heard, of course.
"Oh thank God you're awake!" Darin replied softly.
Wate brought his chin up, to see a giant pot of boiling water and Darin's face across it, tied up to a pole, Blind folded for some reason... and bunch of people dancing and chanting.
"What the hell?! Where are we??" Wate thought yelled
"I don't know, but judging by your tone of voice we're not in a good position at all" Darin replied.
..
"Oh fuck..."
"What??" Darin said worried
"They're going ta boil us, they're putting vegetables an' seasonings in a big pot o' water" Wate observed.
"No... is this- this is my fault isn't it.."
Darin replied, in a saddened tone, when wate looked up at her she had a frown.
"No, yer not the only one to blame"
Wate replied calmly
"I... wish that we-

She paused, only to continue again,

No. No wait.. Wate, I sense something, someone"
"Whom?" The captain looked around, nothing peculiar... well, except for phyco cannibals surrounding them and chanting some weird gibberish words.
"There's a person in this tribe, their name is mallowa, they're willing to help us"
"Woah really??" Wate's expression changed.
"Yeah, there'll be a guy in a mask that's shaped like a bunny who'll be walking over to you in a second, he'll be carrying a knife, use it to cut the ropes behind you" Darin instructed.
Wate saw them, they walked towards the captain and handed him the knife secretly.
"Don't cut your ropes yet, there will be a horn being blown and everyone in the tribe including the chief will check it out, when they do, cut the ties and cut mine too."
"Gotcha, Tell 'em I said thanks" Wate agreed.

... moments later,
A horn could be heard being blown in the distance, everyone stops what they're doing and rushes over to where the noise was being made. Wate cuts the ropes that held his arms, chest and legs, he walked over and Helped darin aswell, now free she undid her blindfolds.
They both ran into the jungle, just randomly going in a direction, anything to get away from those cannibalistic phycos.
..
They stopped to catch their breath.

"We're.. free..." Darin said,
"Yeah.." Wate replied.
The two leaned against a tree and let their bodies slide down so they could sit and rest for a while.
..
Suddenly they hear rustling in the bushes.
"Darin-" Wate whispered Darin cut him off with a
"AYYYY! MALLOWA!"
A masked guy appeared before them.
"Hello!" They greeted.
"So.. yer the one who saved us, thanks alot, buddy" Wate thanked the guy.
"No Problem, my friend"
The masked person nodded.

"Say.. why didtcha help us anyway?" Wate asked curiously.
"All these months, my tribe have been finding lost and confused travelers, Hunting them down and Fiesting on them." Mallowa paused.
"I couldn't stand the look on your faces when you talked to eachother through your minds, like you were lovers saying their last goodbyes"

Wate had this look on his face as he looked at Darin who was smiling akwardly back at him, wate could see the lightest of blush dusted on her face.
"I used to have a lover of my own, he was, the 32nd member of this tribe, he got killed by an unknown creature. But instead of having a memorial for him.. our tribe decided to eat his body, and so, I lost all respect for the chief, I turned to fruits, vegetables fish, not wanting to ever taste the flesh of a human again." He continued.

"I'm so sorry for your loss..." Darin said in a comforting tone.
"Tell me... Captain And his Lady, are you truly lovers?" Mallowa asked.
Wate didn't know how to respond to that question.
"We-" Wate started
"We are lovers indeed" Darin finished.
Darin held wate's hand.
"I love him very much, I wouldn't stand to see him in pain" Darin said, Wate could feel her hand shaking, her face red as a tomato. Wate knew he had to say something, or it'll leave her embarrassed.
"Yeah..., we came 'ere after our ship sank, just as I was about to ask for 'er hand-"
Darin couldn't look at wate anymore, he didn't know why she was this flustered, it was just an act.
Mallowa gasped, bringing a hand to his mouth in shock.
"I.. I cannot believe this" Mallowa said.
"I shall help you! No pair or couple should be treated like you did.. Follow me! I shall lead you to the 'great white'"
He signaled at them to follow, they did.
"The great white? 'Wounder what that could be" Wate said to darin through thought.
"Imagine if it's actually the shark" Darin thought back, still blushing a little.
"Pft" Wate said out loud.

A long Walk later, the three stumbled upon a large cave opening, there were some kind of crystals handing on the ceiling of the cave. as they entered, they noticed the surroundings, there were many luminous stones lighting their way as they ventured deeper into the cave, a mild fog surround the area as well.

Soon enough, they realised they were trotting on shallow water, as they went forward, the water started rising to their knees, Wate had to scrunch his pant sleeves up because he didn't want them to get wet. Then.. as the thin fog was swished to the side, a clear sight of a ginormous white ship stood before them.

"Blimey!" Wate exclaimed at the sight, he's never seen such a magnificent ship in his life!
"Woah" Darin, also wowed.
"We are here. This, is the great white!" Mallowa raised his hands in the air.
"I have found it while venturing these parts of the jungle, I planned to use it so that I could get off this horrid land." He continued
"I planned to go Alone. But since you two seem to be stuck here, we shall leave all together!"
Darin rushed over to cup both mallowa's hands in hers, wate, eyes still sparkling at the sight of the ship.
"Thank you so so much mallow!" Darin thanked him, the tribal man smiled at the nick name, but it was barely visible because of his mask.
"I shall gather food before we leave for our journey. You both could maybe get some suplies too, but, do not go back in the direction of the village, I will return shortly."
And with that, mallowa was already on his way out.

"So" Darin started, turning to wate.
Wate looked at her with a questioning look on his face.
"About to ask for my hand, huh?" Darin smirked.
Wate just gave her the =_= face.
"Ya would've been embarrassed if I wouldav said nothin'" he finally spoke.
"Noo...." She scratched the back of her head.
"Ya look embarrassed right now."
Now Darin was the one wearing the =_= face.
Wate laughed, "pff- why wouldtcha even bring that up again?"
Darin playfully punched his shoulder.
"Never mind, idiot."
Wate just rolled his eyes.
"I'm off, gotta start gatherin' supplies" He started walking out the cave.
"W- Wait! I'm coming too!" Darin ran after him.

.. and with that, The three prepared for their take off,
the sun setting as they did so.
