(OLD) Chapter 3: The Ruins

The story is now being rewritten (or has been, depending on when you're reading this). It will be much better, as the story beforehand was really cringey. You can still read the original parts, but you might not like them.

Flowey and I set on our journey through the ruins. We met many monsters along the way, including a Froggit that meowed and Napstablook, an adorable ghost. We finally stopped outside a cute, tidy house. Tori's house. I knocked on the door. "Coming!" I heard Tori call from inside. She opened the door. "How may I-" she paused when she saw me. "Hi! I'm Jade," I said. "It's a pleasure to meet you Toriel." She smiled, slightly surprised that I knew her name. "Hello, my child. You may come in if you wish. Frisk and I were making some butterscotch-cinnamon pie," she said, motioning for me to come in. It was nice and warm inside the house and pleasantly cozy. I sat down and put Flowey on the table. "Do I really have to be here?" he asked, mumbling. I could tell he knew that this was his mother's house and that he didn't want to be reminded of his old self. Before I could answer, Tori and Frisk walked in with the pie. It was delicious. The best pie I had ever eaten. "So, my child," Tori said, " what brings you to the Underground?" I began to tell her the whole story, including how much I liked Undertale and how I met Flowey. "And that brings us to where we are now," I finished. Frisk was amazed by all this. "Who's your favorite?" she asked. This caught me off guard and I blushed a bit. Sans was my favorite, and I had a big crush on him. "Sans," I said simply, although I couldn't hide the evident blush on my face. "You like him, don't you?" she teased. I couldn't put out a straight answer. "W-well I umm....well you s-see I uh..." but that seemed to be answer enough. "Don't worry," Frisk said," I won't tell anybody. " I could already tell that Frisk and I were going to be great friends.
