It was a sunny day outside, the summer breeze filled the air, occasionally cooling down the heat. Adults and children were seen enjoying the nice day.

Three males were walking around the town, chatting with each other. Well more like two of them were while the other one was farther behind.

"O-Oi! Guys wait up!" A short brunette shouted at his two friends.

"Your legs are just too short to catch up." A young raven-haired commented, earning an annoyed look from the short brunette.

"It's not my fault that Luz is taller than me! His legs take bigger steps than mine!"

"E-Eh? Why am I being brought into the conversation?" The young light haired male said as he stopped walking and turned to look at the short brunette.

"Urata's just upset that he's short." Soraru said as he gave the short male a small smirk.

"Oi!"

"Www when is he never~?"

"Luz."

The light haired male continued to tease the short brunette about his height. The raven-haired was just looking around the area, blocking out their bickering, until he noticed that something was off. He looked around the area again before looking back at his two friends.

"Hey, I just realized, where's Yamadanuki?"

The two males stopped their banter and looked around.

The tanuki was nowhere in sight.

"Ugh~ she always runs off on her own." Urata complained as the raven-haired rolled his eyes.

"You do such a good job at taking care of her." Soraru sarcastically said as the short brunette glared at him.

"Shut up."

"Should we go look for her?" Luz asked the two males, the raven-haired shrugged while the short brunette nodded his head.

"She could be causing trouble and I don't want to deal with that."

"Why don't you go look for her while I go back home and sleep." Soraru said, earning a small smack on the arm by the short brunette.

"You're helping me!"

"Why should I?"

"Oi! Don't be lazy like that."

"Fine." The raven-haired pouted as he sighed.

Luz just watched the two go back and forth, a small giggle left his mouth. These two are always fun to hang out.

"Well let's split up. I doubt she ran away that far." The light haired male said as the other two nodded their heads.

They parted ways and went to go look for the tanuki.

Urata went back to see if she was still at the park that they had left. Soraru went to see if the tanuki was running around the buildings nearby while Luz went to see if she went ahead of them.

The light haired male was walking around, calling out to the tanuki. Where could she have gone? He continued to walk around, occasionally asking some people if they had seen a tanuki around the area.

After walking around for a bit he spotted the animal that he was looking for. Yamadanuki was peacefully resting on a tree branch across the street.

Luz beamed and was about to walk towards her until he saw some kids playing around the tree. Their laughter accidentally startled her, causing her to get scared and run away.

"S-Seriously...?" Luz sighed before quickly hurrying up to try and catch up to her.

"H-Hey Yamadanuki, w-wait!" He shouted, he almost was able to reach for her until he felt someone grab his arm.

"Ah, be careful child." A young women said, Luz looked up at her, confused by her words.

"There's construction ahead, you wouldn't want to get injured." The young women pointed at the contribution signs.

"Oh, thanks." Luz smiled at the women, who smiled back before walking away.

The light haired male then realized that he had lost sight of the tanuki.

"Come on...." He sighed in annoyance before looking around the area again.

"Where could she have gone now? Geez, Urata can't you get a pet that's better tamed." Luz quietly said to himself.

After looking around for a bit longer he decided to go back. As he walked back he stared at the small town's scenery. A wave of sadness and comfort swarmed through him. I have yet to tell them....

Luz then spotted the raven-haired up ahead. He beamed and picked up his pace.

"Soraru~"

The raven-haired stumbled a bit as the light haired male tackled him in a hug.

"O-Oi! Be careful or else Yamadanuki could've fallen off my hands, and I'm not dealing with a pissed off Urata."

Luz saw that the small tanuki was in the male's arm.

"Oh you found her, as expected of the amazing Soraru~"

"Quit joking around."

Luz just giggled as he smiled, attempting to cover the sad feeling in his chest. I don't want to leave this town....especially if it means leaving Soraru and Urata.....

"Guess we should go look for Urata now." The raven-haired said, earning a nod from the light haired male.

"Though, how'd you find her? Last time I saw her she ran past a construction area I was at." Luz asked the male.

"I'm guessing she got tired and decided to come back to us." Soraru looked at the tanuki that was now resting in his arms.

"She looks so cute when she's nestled in your arms~" Luz teasingly cooed.

Soraru just playfully rolled his eyes. The two chatted with each other about what they should do later on. Luz was debating on whether to tell the male or not.

"Urata told me before that we can maybe ask our parents to–"

"U-Uh actually, about that...." Luz sheepishly said, shifting his eyes away to avoid looking at the raven-haired.

"U-Um....."

The light haired male didn't know what to say, the words were on the tip of his tongue yet he couldn't say them.

"Luz? Are you okay?" Soraru became concerned at the male's conflicted expression.

"I-I...."

"Oh, I found you guys and you found Yamadanuki."

Urata walked up to the two males. He saw the light haired male's expression and tilted his head.

"Is Luz okay? He seems upset."

"That's what I want to know." Soraru said, he looked back at the male.

"What did you do to him?" Urata gave the raven-haired an accusing look.

"Eh? What makes you think that I made him upset?"

"I....I'mmovinginaweekandIwon'tbeabletoseeyouguysanymore!" Luz quickly shouted, his words jumbled together, as he averted his eyes again.

"Eh?"
"Huh?"

The two males just stared at the light haired male in confusion.

I....I won't be able to see you guys anymore, I'm moving......" Luz quietly repeated, he looked down at the ground.

"Wait, y-you're not lying, r-right?" Urata didn't want to hear that his childhood friend would be leaving them.

"I wish I was...."

"Why are you upset about that?" Soraru blankly asked, causing the two to look at him.

"E-Eh...?"

"What? You're not even bothered by it?" Urata questioned the raven-haired.

"You're still going to be our friend, even if you live far away we'd still find a way to contact you." Soraru said, the light haired male stayed silent.

"True, no matter what you can't get rid of us~" Urata playfully said, "even if things end up turning bad, we'll still be your friends."

"You guys....." Luz tearfully smiled at them before tackling them in a hug.

"O-Oi!"
"L-Luz! You're going to suffocate Yamadanuki!"

"Www"

The two males glared at the light haired male before they began to laugh themselves.

"Guess we'll just have to make the most of our time together~" Luz grinned as he let go off the hug.

"Well, I guess we should be going back home." Urata said as the tanuki in the raven-haired's arms woke up.

Yamadanuki stretched before jumping onto the short brunette's shoulder. Urata let out a small giggle as the small creature's fur tickled him.

The three males walked back home together, teasing each other along the way.

"But I really will miss this town, it's so peaceful~" Luz said as he sadly smiled at the raven-haired and short brunette.

Soraru just ruffled his hair, "stop being so mopey, you're acting like a dog that doesn't want to leave its owner alone."

The short brunette then chuckled, "maybe we should just call you doggy," he playfully teased.

"H-Hey!" Luz pouted at the comment before giggling.

"I'm grateful to have befriended you two~ I'm kinda nervous of moving, I won't know anyone..."

"You'll end up making friends," the raven-haired said as he smiled at the male.

"Who knows, you might find the love of your life there~" Urata teased, causing the light haired male to blush.

"C-Cut it out."

Urata was laughing at the male's red face before before calming down his laughter.

"Though, it'll be boring without you, Soraru would probably stay inside his house most of the time like a shut-in~"

"Oi!"

"But aren't you the one that usually drags him out?" Luz said as the short brunette giggled.

"Yep~"

"How about you move instead, then I don't have to deal with your annoying, mischief personality." Soraru said, the short brunette fake pouted.

"How could you wish for this lovely friend of yours to leave you? As if I would ever."

"You know, I think Urata wouldn't disappear, no matter how much you try." Luz jokingly stated as the raven-haired sighed.

"You're right, we'll just have to deal with him."

"Oi!"

The three males just laughed at their banter. The sun was beginning to set as they parted their ways.

The light haired male was happy to have friends like the two males. Even when I'm far away, I'll try my best to be by their side.
