I don't think I've ever seen Gladion so excited. We're currently at the Beach along with Anthony, Ben, and Hau. Silver was here but he went back to see what's up with the girls and Gold.

Hau is building a sand mound as his Pokémon run around with some of Ben's and Anthony's.

"Yo what's takin em so long bro?" Ben asks joining Hau in the creation of sand mounds.

"I'm not sure, Lemme cal-" Hau gets cut off by some yelling heard nearby.

"OH STOP BEING A LIL MEOWTH COOKIE!" I believe that was Gold.

We all turn to look as Gold, Silver and Lillie seem to be struggling with something. Or more likely someone.

"I AM NOT SHOWING THIS MUCH SKIN IN PUBLIC!" Cookie shrieks.

"I'm showing more skin than you and I'm perfectly fine! You are way more covered than I am!" Lillie shouts in reply.

"YEAH WELL YOU GOT LESS TIT AND STOMACH TOO!" Cookie screams back.

"OH FOR THE LOVE OF-FERALIGATOR GET OUT HERE AND DRAG HER!" Silver shouts as Feraligator comes out and grabs the squirming Cookie.

"FRISKIES PROTECT MEH!" Friskies does as told and starts using bite on his anckles.

Feraligator just keeps shaking him off and walking. That is until Friskies jumps up and uses fire fang on his arm.

"CAN YOU STOP!?" He shouts at him, shaking him off once more and snapping at him with an Ice fang.

"OI DONT YOU GO SNAPPING AT HIM YA STUPID GATOR!" Cookie yells jabbing him with her elbows and increasing her kicking.

"What in the hell is going on?" Gladion asks walking the rest of the way up to them.

"Yeah I thought this was supposed to be a fun day at the beach yo,"Anthony adds, joining Gladion.

"Cookie is embarrassed by the swim suit she's wearing and thinks it's too much skin." Gold sighs.

"How bad can it be? I mean it can't be worse than the other one you tried on. And besides I saw the one you're wearing and it doesn't look so bad." Gladion responds looking to Cookie who blushes and pouts in response.

"Yeah well you're not the one wearing it." She grumbles.

Feraligator then drops her with no warning and she lets out a squeak in response.

"Haha Gladion just lit up like a Christmas tree!" Anthony laughs pointing at his face.

"Sh-Shut up! And you look fine Cookie." Gladion grumbles extending out his hand to help him up.

"Yeah come on let's have some fun!" Hau cheers. "Oh hey can I ride on Mr.Whalington? Please please pleeeeeaaasssseeee!"

"I'd say yes but I don't sense him anymore. I guess he left. Weird considering he was so insistent on staying to 'protect' me. Unless......." Cookie trails off, scanning the beach for who knows what.

"Unless????" Ben questions tilting his head trying to get her to continue.

"It's nothing don't worry about it. Let's just have some fun, yeah?" Cookie waves it off.

Odd... I think I shall do some snooping around while they're all off have fun.

🔺☠️🐓Yveltal's POV🐓☠️🔺

I cannot believe that Arceus is making me watch over this girl. At least it gives me an excuse to be with Xerneas. Or as she's apparently brainwashed him into being, King Deer. Seriously why is he so insistent on me calling him that and why is he so mad at me?

I mean I know why he's mad but like I said sorry! I sigh and turn back to looking at this 'Cookie' whose so fucking special for some reason! Like Arceus won't even say why and Xerneas  doesn't really know exactly what it is.

All I really know is that she's pissed that Arceus has us watching her and that she clearly knows why he's having us do this.

I groan again and Xerneas slams his hooves-er hands now I guess- on the table we're sat at, gets up and walks away from me.

"Hey where are you going!?" I call after him as I watch him walk away ignoring me. "Xer- Deen!" I barely caught myself there.

I get up and run after him. "What's gotten into you? Why'd you just get up and leave like that!?" I ask grabbing him by the shoulder to stop him.

"YOU! YOU'RE WHATS GOTTEN INTO ME!" (( ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )) He yells at me whirling around to face me.
"YOU WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU CONTINUOUSLY COMPLAIN, YOU'RE CONSTANTLY JUDGING THE DECISIONS IVE MADE, AND THE MOST INFURIATING THING THAT YOU KEEP DOING? YOU KEEP BAD MOUTHING M'LADY DESPITE NOT EVEN FUCKING KNOWING HER!"

"Xerneas I-" I start, feeling incredibly hurt. But he cuts me off and shoves me away from him.

"AND FOR THE LAST TIME GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL! THAT. IS. NOT. MY. FUCKING. NAME!" He then continues to storm off away from me going lord knows where.

I just stand there hurting, and on the brink of tears. "But I love you..." I croak out in such a low whisper that even if he was still standing here he wouldn't have been able to hear. Or so I thought.

"Then maybe you should've told him that." says a voice from my left.

I whip my head around to be met with an odd looking Pokémon. I furrow my brows at him and I look around to ensure no humans are near before walking towards him.

"Let me guess. You're a legendary whose currently in a humanoid form because you were sent here to watch Cookie and the one that just stormed off was one of her Pokémon." The odd Pokémon guesses.

"H-how did you-"

"I had a bit of a talk with Mr.Whalington or Kyoger if you will. I'm Type:Null by the way. But I prefer just Null." He introduces.

"Yveltal." I respond in a whisper. He nods and looks behind himself before turning back to me.

"Why was he so mad at you? I mean other than the reasons he yelled." Null asks.

I sigh, shaking my head as tears stream down my face. "I left him. I left him because I was scared and that led him to being imprisoned for many many years." I whimper out. "I hurt him, so bad."

"A fair reason to be upset. Maybe continuously adding fuel to the fire isn't such a good idea though?" Type:Null suggests.

"But he- he's being ridiculous I mean humans are what led him to being imprisoned! They're what brought him close to death and yet now he's waiting on one hand and foot!" I reply.

"I was created by humans. They did horrible tests on me and when I didn't give them the results they wanted, they planned to dispose of me." I stare at Null wide eyed.

But before I can make a comment or question where he's going with this he continues. "But, then a boy by the name of Gladion saved me from the grasps of my creators and we ran away. We've been together ever since."

I blink at him unsure of what to say. He sighs before adding "What I'm trying to say is yes, some humans are bad, but not all of them are. And from what I've seen from Cookie thus far, she will die for her Pokémon and they will die for her."

"Hey Null! What are you doing over there?" A male's voice calls. We both look to see the blonde boy walking towards him.

"I must go. Remember what I said, and go apologize. Properly." I give him a nod and he runs off towards who I can only assume to be Gladion. I watch as they mess around a bit before getting called back over to the rest of them.

I stand up watching the humans playing with each other and their Pokémon for a bit before turning to the direction King Deer went to try and find him.

👑🦌King Deer's POV🦌👑

He gets on my nerves so much and ranting off on him felt good but now all I can think about is the hurt expression on his face.

No. I won't allow myself to fall back into his trap. Not after he hurt me and not after he's been so persistent on rubbing salt in the wound. Course he's too stupid to realize that's what he's doing.

And now I'm probably at a higher risk at getting caught by m'lady Cookie because I've moved closer. Kind of. I'm on a cliff over looking the beach so I guess it's about the same distance but still.

Oh she knows. She keeps looking around a bit. But I can't just leave because I don't trust Yveltal to just sit there and watch her.

Moron is probably desperately trying to find me or wallowing in his own sorrows. Serves him right.

Uh oh, she's sent her bird Pokémon to fly around. Just act like a normal human King Deer.... fuck I don't know any normal humans. Cookie and all her friends are pretty weird.

I guess Trevor and Calem are pretty normal... I think? The professor sure isn't.

Crap he's spotted me.

"Hi there."

I turn and raise my eyebrow to him. And make a shooing gesture. That's something a human would do right?

Okay he's just glaring at my hand so maybe not? Is that what an asshole human would do?

"Really? You're going to try and pretend like you can't understand me?"

Uh uh what do humans usually tell wild Pokémon who come up to them??? Uh oh! "I don't have any food for you go away."

"Okay so let's just pretend you can't understand me then. I'll just go tell Ms.Cookie that there's some guy up here staring at her and her friends because he's probably a pervert."

"OKAY OKAY FINE!" I shout at him. "Yes I can understand you but can you just tell Cookie that you didn't find anything? I'm not really in the mood for a lecture or a rant."

"What do you mean?" The bird Pokémon asks tilting his head.

"It's a long story." I respond

"I've got time." He replies.

I sigh and take a deep breath, glancing down at the beach and noting that Cookie has disappeared. Probably found out where I was. Whatever.

"Long ago there was a war, a very big war at that. I don't know the exact details but I believe a man lost his beloved Pokémon because of it and he built a machine to bring it back and end the war." I begin.

"But the weapon needed an energy source. A very big energy source. Me and my friend and fellow legendary   knew this and we tried to stop him. Yveltal didn't want to for he feared that he would use us instead of the billions of Pokémon he was already using. Not fully intentionally mind you but still."

"In the end Yveltal agreed to trying to either stop the man or destroy the weapon some how. But we couldn't. Yveltal got scared and started to retreat before I did and by the time he convinced me to run as well it was too late. I'm not fully sure what happened since it's all a blur but somehow the man got me into the weapon to be used as a power source."

"I remember screaming for Yveltal to help me but all he did was watch before running away. And now I've run into him again and he keeps acting idiotic and he's just, he's just, AGH!" I shout flinging myself backwards and covering my hands with my face.

"I didn't know this." An overly familiar voice says from right above and behind me. I knew she would've found me by now.

"I didn't think I'd ever have to deal with him again and preferred to forget about his annoying, dumbass, mother-"

"I get it King Deer" Cookie cuts me off. She's now moved my head to lay in her lap and I finally uncover my face to look up at her.

"I'm sorry you have to see me like this M'lady." I apologize. She just shakes her head.

"You guys aren't going to stop coming here to protect me are you?" She asks looking out towards the beach.

"Not until at least one member of your alolan team becomes of equal strength to a legendary or you catch a legendary. Even then we may still need to keep watch to be sure." I respond.

"Arceus is really insistent on keeping me safe isn't he?" Cookie asks still looking off towards the beach.

"It's not just Arceus anymore. The moment we found out you could be in danger we all became concerned. Even Groudon was slightly concerned."

That's when she looks down at me and gives me a bit of a smile. She then returns her gaze to the cliff side and the shore below.

Should I ask her? It's worth a try. "M'lady?"

"Hmm?"

"What is it exactly that you need to be protected from? Or rather the reason as to why you need to be protected? And how do you know Arceus?"

Cookie stiffens up. "Have you tried asking the others?"

"I tried to ask Blue Fire but he wouldn't tell. Kept saying he couldn't say."

"Good."

"...You're not going to tell me are you?"

"In due time. I'm still trying to decide if I should tell the second Sinnoh team or not." Cookie admits looking to the sky.

I glance towards the cliff for the first time and take note that the bird Pokémon is no longer there.

"Rafael only left when I put your head in my lap. Didn't want him asking questions too." She explains.

I nod. I feel happy around Cookie. Like I don't have any troubles. Of course I do but it's nice to forget about everything every now and then. Of course this is only when she is happy or content. Or I guess when she's at peace if you will.

"I should get back down there before they flip the hell out." Cookie says looking down at me.

"Do you wish for me to assist you? I'll come right back up here afterwards if you wish." I offer, sitting up and turning to face her.

She thinks about it for a moment and nods her head. "That'd be great."  I walk a few feet away from her and change back into my original form. I then kneel down so she can climb onto my back.

Once she's wrapped her arms around my neck I jump off the cliff. I run forwards a bit after I land.

"WOAHLY SHTI!" Two guys with blue hair say in unison.

"HOLY MAGIKARP THAT SCARED THE HECK OUT OF ME!" A tan boy screams. Speaking of screaming a bleach blonde girl is just silently screaming and has fallen back onto her butt.

The bleach blonde boy next to her however is verbally screaming and is clutching his bare chest.

"JESUS CHRIST COOKIE AND KING DEER YOU SCARED THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF US!" Gold shouts at us.

"You've always gotta make an entrance that'll give everyone around you a Fucking heart attack don't you?!" Silver yells. He's not as loud as the others but he's loud enough.

I kneel down to let Cookie off my back and remain in said position when the two blue haired dudes recover from their near heart attack and walk up to me with eyes shining.

"Yo bro is this the legendary Pokémon Xerneas." I huff at that name.

"Yep! Anthony, Ben, Hau, Lillie, Gladion, meet King Deer." Cookie says smiling and petting my muzzle. I rub against her hand as response. I just do it automatically at this point. It's like instinct for me to return her affections.

"WOOOOOAAAAAHH! Can I pet him? Wait is that offensive??? I'm sorry King Deer!" The tan one says frantically. I let out a small chuckle while Cookie giggles.

"It's fine Hau, you can pet him. Hell if you want we could all ride around a bit." Cookie chuckles.

"You for real dog? Yo that'd be awesome!" Not sure if that's Ben or Anthony.

"Can we?" Lillie asks, excitement in her voice.

"Yeah why not? What do you say King Deer? Wanna take a looksy of the island?"

"That sounds lovely." I respond nodding.

All the trainers return their Pokémon, gathers their things and climb on one by one. Cookie, Gladion, Silver, and Gold are entangled within my antlers and each is hanging on to the one they are sitting on while Hau, Lillie, Ben, and Anthony are all on my back hanging on to me and each other.

Once I'm sure everyone is secure I take off running down the beach and down the streets and routes. Jumping up and down cliffs and what not. It's relaxing and fun despite the few screams coming from the alolan passengers and a couple from Gold and Silver. Though I think those might've been the kinda screams you'd do when on a roller coaster. Not sure what that's like but I've heard those screams before and know most enjoy roller coasters.

I'm glad that I can spend time with m'laddy Cookie and her friends.
