So we have a new member of the team now. Her name is Pixie and she's a Cutiefly. Plus both Rafael and I  evolved. Now we're going to takeon the Island Trial.

And by that I mean we are already in the cave. I think. Cookie has us in our Pokéballs right now so I can't exactly see but I'm pretty sure I heard battling going on.

I don't know... I think Rafael is out since he's taking the blunt of the first part of the trial. That is finding all the Pokémon in burrows and defeating them. I just wanna hurry up and take on the totem Pokémon!

🌪🐧Rafael's POV🐧🌪

One more to go. But why'd it run away? Whatever we'll just chase it down. Or we'll be stopped by team skull.

"The heck are these guys doing here?" Cookie grumbles as she walks towards them. "Whatever I could use some comedic relief."

"Yo, yo, yo!" One of the grunts greet as they approach us.

"It's your Berry thief boys back.....back again! Remember us?" The second one asks.

Cookie puts a finger to her chin. "Ummmmm nope not at all. Sorry who are you?" She asks clearly holding back a snicker and a smirk.

"Oh that's cruel." I chuckle.
Both of them seem really surprised.

"Oh I see..." The first one says turning to the other. They then swap places with each other. "Just cause we swapped places, you can't tell who we are anymore?!" And that sent Cookie to the ground with laughter.

"OH MY ARCEUS! YOU GUYS ARE FREAKING GREAT!"

"Wha- really? You think we're great?" Grunt uhh let's say B asks, his eyes sparkling.

"Yeah I mean you do f*cked up sh*t that pisses me off, or at least try to, but the things you say are amazing!" Cookie giggles, standing up and dusting herself off.

"W-Who cares about that! We're here to mess up her trial yo!" Grunt A says turning to B.

"Oh yeah that's right. Though not sure I really want to mess it up too badly at this point..." Grunt B says mumbling the last bit before shaking his head. "Yo let's get that Pokémon homie!"

Grunt A nods then runs up to battle us.

We defeated the Grunt's drowzee with relative ease.

"What's up with that!?" The grunt we battled, Grunt A asks.

"For real though?! I can't get my skull around it! This girlie is mad strong! She doesn't even say anything yo!"

"She's more than strong! She's straight up dangerous homie!" Grunt A says as they back away. Cookie is just smiling at them sweetly with a malicious gleam in her eye.

"I dunno man isn't this whole place trouble?!" Grunt B asks.

"It totally is homie! I mean that things so strong normal Pokémon don't even wanna come out!" Grunt A agrees.

The two then start whispering to each other and then run off, going to two of the three burrows the Last Pokémon could be in.

"Guess we're going to the only open one then." Cookie sighs returning to the burrow that it had run away from.

We manage to get the Pokémon which was apparently a Gumshoos to come out. Cookie then put me back into my Pokéball. Soon afterwards I feel Friskies' Pokéspace disappear followed by the sounds of fighting.

Eventually the sounds of the battle end and the cheering of Cookie and Friskies are what break through the Pokéspace barrier.

"Hey. Sounds like you guys just beat the Gym leader." A voice says behind me.

"Gym leader? The hell is thaaaaaaa holy sh*t." I cut myself off turning to a Pokémon whose over a foot bigger than me.

"Wait do you guys not have gyms in your region? That's weird all other regions do.... I'm Staraptor by the way." 'Staraptor' introduces herself.

"I-I-I'm Rafael. We d-d-don't have g-gyms we ha-ave trials a-and kahunas." I stutter out. I can't help it she's way bigger than me, looks like a bada$$, and Rotom said Cookie had already beaten several Elite fours. If Staraptor didn't play a role in at least one of them I'd be surprised.

"Staraptor come off the poor guy you're terrifying him!" another Pokémon says coming up from behind her.  "How's it going kid? Names Torterra. Don't worry bough Staraptor, as long as you don't tick her off and your not Sparky you'll be fine."

"H-hi." I stutter out. These guys seem strong.

"Oh yeah that helped a lot you turtle f*ck. But yeah no worries darling. I'm basically the mother bird of well all the bird Pokémon that Cookie catches. Though HoOh never listens but she's a legendary so who'd expect her to?" Staraptor shrugs.

"R-right...." I nod. I'm still terrified.

"Well I'm leaving. Cookie will probably be bringing you back out soon. Obviously Nurse Joy is taking care of you right now. Anyways, good luck out there bud." Torterra says walking off.

"R-Right." I nod.

"Well I'll be heading off too. Just wanted to say hey. Would've earlier but Cookie didn't really give us a chance." Staraptor says. But rather than flying off, she hops closer to me and I freeze up a bit.

She puts her giant a$$ wing to my shoulder before saying "Protect her for us. She's pretty damn strong but she's also stubborn and that's gotten her in trouble before. Some serious trouble recently." She sighs and looks away.

"With the Evil organizations? Rotom looked her up and said she's defeated several of them." I question.

"Yeah. But a little while back- never mind don't worry about it just keep her safe." Staraptor says turning back to me.

"I will. We will." I nod.

Staraptor smile at me before giving a nod and flying away. Why was I scared of her at first again? She seems really nice and caring. She really is the mother of all Ms. Cookie's bird Pokémon.

I shake my head to clear it as I watch my Pokéspace dissolve as I'm brought back into the real world again.
