Me and Hau decided to go over to Cookie's room since Hau wanted to talk to her about something.

Just as he's about to knock though he stops. "Gold I swear to Arceus if you guys- NO! Don't you dare! I can name fifty reasons why not!" Cookie's voice says through the door.

I look at Hau, cocking my head. He looks at me as well and raises an eyebrow. We then hesitate before putting our ears to the door to listen better.

"Putting Silv on the line isn't gonna change anything. NO! DONT INVITE MORE PEOPLE! Ugh Gold just- no. Well yeah but- NO! THEY CANT KNOW! Okay I don't care if Lillie knows but she'd probably blab it off to random strangers." Cookie continues.

"What is going on?" I whisper in confusion. At this point I guess Hau felt bad so he didn't want to eavesdrop anymore since he backs away slightly and knocks on the door.

"Hey Cookie you got a sec?" He calls.

"Uh yeah just a moment! NO NOT YOU GOLD! Look I-no-shut-SCREW OFF!" Comes Cookie's reply. Obviously only the first bit was at us.

The door then opens to reveal an appearing ready to go Cookie. "Sorry 'bout that. That was a Johto friend of mine being annoying." She apologizes.

"Oh it's okay. Hey what was that all about anyways?" Hau asks.

"He was talking about how he wanted to come here to Alola and stuff." She responds, shaking her head.

"Well why not? I love to meet new people! And any friend of yours is a friend of mine!" Hau says happily.

"I like friends too!" I chirp.

Cookie just shakes her head with a giggle. "The thing is they're kinda in the middle of something really important that they need to get done. Anyways what is it you wanted to talk about?" Cookie says changing the subject.

"Oh I actually wanted to talk about training together on route 2. Well Lillie of course would just be watching but-"

Cookie cuts him off "Hau I'd loved to but I'm kinda used to training alone and I work better that way."

"But you haven't even tried it! Come on it'll be fun! I'm sure Lillie would probably end up going up ahead to look at stuff anyways!" Hau counters.

Cookie opens her mouth to say something but ends up just sighing. "Okay fine. I'll give it a shot."

"WOOHOO!" Hau and I cheer. Cookie just laughs at us while Friskies smiles. Guess Rafael is in his ball.

"But first, lets get something to eat!" Hau says marching toward the dining part of the Poké center. I follow as close behind him as I can.

Once there we Spot Lillie who is reading a book with Nebby sitting in her lap beneath the table.

We approach the booth, even though Cookie seems fairly unwilling to do so. "Heya Lillie!" Hau greets.

"Oh hi Hau! C-Cookie? Um I r-really am s-"

"It's fine" Cookie says dryly, cutting Lillie off before she can finish.

Our trainers order some food while Friskies, Nebby, and I mess around and play. Eventually Cookie sends out Rafael and Hau lets out Pichu so they can play too.

Once the food gets here the five of us Pokémon return to nom on some Pokémon food.

"Wait you ran into Team Skull!
C-Cookie  I'm pretty sure those guys can be pretty dangerous." Lillie stutters in shock.

"Seriously? They were hilarious. Honestly they just seem to have gone down the wrong path slightly. They're kinda goofy." Comes Cookie's response.

"Well, what happened? I mean obviously you still have your Pokémon so did you escape them?" Hau asks.

"Escape them? I whooped that grunts a$$! Captain Ilima insisted on battling the other one though. After tha-"

"YOU FAUGHT WITH CAPTAIN ILIMA!?!?" Hau shouts cutting her off.

"Well I didn't fight with him. He took one grunt I took the other. Then Team Skull left, Ilima healed my Pokémon, and we had a battle." Cookie replies.

"YOU BATTLED CAPTAIN ILIMA!?!?" Both Hau and I shout.

"Yeah" Cookie, Friskies, and Rafael say nodding.

"Woooooah." Pichu says aww struck.

"Did you win?" Lillie asks.

"Of course I won. It was easy peasy and honestly kinda disappointing. Then again he said it was like the trial before the trial so I've still got that challenge. Plus your Grandpa." Cookie says referring to the trials to come.

"Yeah and that's the real challenge there!" Hau says smiling.

"Well I'd hope so. With a title like Island Kahuna I'd hope he'd oppose a decent challenge at least." Cookie responds.

"You're awfully confident in your Pokémon aren't you. N-not that that's a bad thing it's just, well it would be bad if you were t-to push them to far but you wouldn't do that r-right?" Lillie stutters.

"Of course not. What do you take me for a psycho Pokémon abuser who treats them like tools for success?" She asks.

((Oh hey how'd that get here? *cough* A$$Hole! *cough* eh hem excuse me! Okay back to the story))

"Psycho? Slightly. Pokémon abuser? Not at all." Her Rotom Dex  says floating out of her bag.

She just glares at him for a moment. "Okay I'm gonna give you a small lesson Lillie. When your Pokémon wants to play with others within a relatively in closed space and  supervision, you let them out of your bag. But when they do sh*t like this" Cookie says pausing to point at Rotom.

"That's when they get put in the bag or their Pokéball. Whichever is more appropriate." She then proceeds to snatch Rotom out of the air and zip him up in her bag.

"I'll take note of that." Lillie gigglings a little and smilies slightly.

🐱🔥Friskies' POV🔥🐱

After everyone was done at the Pokémon center we headed over to Route 2 where we had a run in with the Kahuna and his Taurus. Afterwards we did some training in the lower grass patches in the front of the route. Lillie   ran up ahead to do who knows what when we went to the Cemetery.

We've reached the Motel and Berry fields but a small red and white bird Pokémon stops us. I believe it's called a Delibird. "Hey could you help us please I need help follow me!" He chirps tugging on Cookie's bag.

"Alright alright I'm going I'm going." Cookie says walking to the Berry fields. "I'll be right back Hau!"

"Okay I'll be exploring the motel!" Hau responds.

We walk into the Berry fields only to find Team Skull.

"You got a lame bunch of Berries... Now Team Skull's your adversaries. Takin' Berries off your hands is just the start of our plans, yo!" The first grunt says.

"Let's get Figy with it! Watch while I Nanab me some Berries!" The second grunt adds.

"I'll share my Berries for free with any Pokémon, but you'll not have a single one from me." The Berry farmer they were harassing responds.

"So, What? I'm lower than a Pokémon!? I already got self esteem issues, man!" The first grunt responds.

That's when Cookie bursts out laughing, drawing their attention to us.
"And what are you laughing at, huh?! Huh? Huh? HUH?" Grunt (let's just say A and the second one is B). "Yo, hold up, you're-!"

" You got a bone to pick with us, homie?" Grunt B asks. " You and Cap may have beat us at the Marina, but you won't be so lucky if we get serious, yo!"

"Is that so?" Cookie asks, giggling still.

"I appreciate your concern child, but these Team Skull punks do nothing but talk big and act small." The Berry farmer reassures us. " You carry on with your island challenge. Don't give them a moment's notice."

"Yo, we're standing right here! At least act a little bit afraid or something, y'know?!"  Grunt A complains.

"Yo, you tryin' to run away? We're gonna hafta take your Pokémon along with the berries!" Grunt B says.

"Oh I'm not runnin. But after threatening my Pokémon you should be." Cookie says sickeningly sweet and giving the scariest glare ever.

"Y-yo, check o-out how hardheaded Team Skull G-grunts c-can be!" Grunt B stutters obviously shaken by Ms. Cookie's threat.

We defeat the Team skull grunts in battle and they run off saying something about messing with Ilima and how insane Ms. Cookie is. The Berry field farmer thanks us by giving Cookie a berry and explaining the berry situation in Alola. We thank him and return to Hau. We then continue our way through Route 2.

"Wooo. I'm tiered. How are your Pokémon doin Cookie?" Hau asks as we walk towards the Pokémon center steps.

"I'm a little beat but not too much." Rafael replies.

"Yeah I'm not too out of shape. Just tired." I agree.

"I think their doing alright." Cookie responds.

"I know I'm not." Rowlet sighs.

"Well I know my team has seen better days" Hau says, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh hey I almost forgot! I've got a gift for you Cookie!"

"Huh? What for?" Cookie asks tilting her head as Hau goes through his bag a bit.

"No reason in particular. Here!" Hau says handing Cookie three yellow diamond shaped things. "They're-"

"Revives. Yeah I know, but Hau how did you-" Cookie cuts him off.

"Hey you have your mysteries, I have mine!" Hau cuts her off. "Now I'm going to heal these guys up and then I'm gonna go get myself a treat at the Café."

"Okay, I think imma do a bit more training." Cookie says waiting for Nurse Joy to give Hau back his Pokémon before handing us over.

⚡️👻Rotom Dex's POV👻⚡️

"Wait you're gonna keep training? But we've done so much and it's kinda getting late. Don't you and your Pokémon need to rest?" Hau asks.

"I won't push them too far don't worry. We'll be back in a bit. Later Hau!" Cookie runs off after thanking Nurse Joy.

"You won't push them too far but what about yourself?" I ask her, slipping out of her bag and floating after her.

"What do you mean Rotom?" She asks me.

"I mean should you really be taking on so many hours of training after..." I trail off.

That's when she stops. "I... I don't know what you're talking about." She says not looking at me.

"Yes you do. I'm sorry but I was too curious and I just had to look you up on the Internet. I know that was several months ago but..." I trail off.

"It's okay, don't worry about it Rotom. And don't worry about me. I got through it and I'm fine now. I've been doing this for eight years. I know my limits and I know how far I can push them." She replies turning and smirking at me.

"If you say so." I sigh going back into her bag.
