⚡️👻Rotom Dex's POV👻⚡️

Damn this trainer is good. She completed the Trainer school within a matter of minutes. Granted she did do a fair amount of leveling up her Pokémon before hand but the fact that she prepared just shows that she knows what she's doing even more so.

Am I seriously to believe this chick is a new trainer? Hmm maybe I should ask her. "Hey Cookie?" I ask booting up. She looks down at me.

"Yeah? What's up?" She asks.

"I have a few questions and seeing as we're alone right now I figured you'd be cool with answering most of them." I explain.

"Alright shoot." She approves.

"Are you actually a new trainer? Because you seem incredibly experienced already." I ask my first question.

"Actually no I'm not. But I don't really want word getting out so if you could keep it a secret I'd really appreciate it." Cookie responds.

"Oh okay. Second question. Why don't you ever verbalize your orders? Like I can tell what you want your Pokémon to do and obviously they do as well but none of the humans or opponents know. How do you even do that?" I question.

".... I can't answer that question. I'm sorry I just... *Sigh* I can't." She says looking away.

"Oh s-sorry. Is that a bad subject or?" I apologize.

"Well yes and no. I don't really mind when people ask it's just. I can't give them and answer. It's not that I don't know the answer because I do I just. I don't know." Cookie says hugging herself a bit.

"Does anyone know?"

"No. Not even my mother. Well she kinda does but... I can tell you this though and it's very similar to your question. I've always have been able to at least sort of understand what Pokémon are saying. I can't hear what they say or anything like my friend N but I can get the gist of it." Cookie responds.

"Hmm. Ok. Thanks for answering my questions to the best of your capabilities." I say smiling at her.

"No problem Rotom. I think I'm gonna go to bed now. Good night." Cookie says returning the smile and laying in the bed provided to her.

"Goodnight." I reply before booting off and kinda just sitting in my little capsule. Evidently the trainer school and things had taken longer than she had anticipated so she had to go to the Pokémon Center.

She said she wasn't a new trainer. Hmm wonder how much of an experienced trainer she is... Time to PokéWeb it.

Pokémon trainer cookie. Boop! Champion of the regions? Well that can't be her right? Wait ok holy poké mulch that picture looks like her.

Ok so she's beaten the elite four and has become the technical champion of the Sinnoh, Johto/Kanto, Unova, Kalos, and Hoenn regions some of which multiple times. Holy crap. And she's beaten multiple evil organization again some multiple times!?

Wait she was recently kidnapped too!? Okay this chick is a  grade A bada$$. Well now that I know it's time to get some sleep.

🐱🔥Friskies' POV🔥🐱

"Hey Cookie over here!" The voice of Hau calls Ms. Cookie over.

She looks at him and Lillie sitting in a booth and hesitates before walking over to them. "Hi." She greets.

"Hello! Me and Hau were gonna order some food before exploring more of Hau'oli city. Care to join us?" Lillie asks.

I notice Ms. Cookie's hand clench a bit before nodding and saying "Sure." She sits next to Hau and I hop into her lap while Rafael flies onto her head.

"Hey Cookie, why do you always have your Pokémon out with you?"

"Oh well I had just come from Johto and  trainers often have at least one of their Pokémon out following them there so I guess I just kinda got used to that. Plus I like being with them and they enjoy it too." She explains with a smile.

"Wow really? Maybe I should start doing that with my Pokémon! In fact I think I will! Come on out Rowlet!" Hau says releasing him.

"Huh? What are we doing?" He asks looking around.

"Hanging out with your trainer and his friends." Rafael explains.

"Oh. Cool!" Rowlet chirps hopping onto Hau's shoulder. Hau laughs in response and Lillie giggles. Ms. Cookie is just smiling.

The three of them order some food while Rafael, Rowlet, and I just run around and have fun. "I wanna play! I wanna play!" 'Nebby' says trying to get out of Lillie's bag.

"Ah! Nebby no! Stay in the bag!" Lillie says trying to hold it closed.

"You can't just keep a Pokémon in a bag like that. It's way to cramped. If he wants to play let him play." Cookie says clearly annoyed by Lillie's actions.

"But I don't want Nebby to get taken!" Lillie says worried.

"Well Friskies, Rafael, and Rowlet are here to protect him. Besides as long as you aren't completely oblivious, you'd notice if someone was trying to take him. It's not like their messing around in a forest or something." Cookie fires back. I have a bad feeling about this.

"But people could still see. And Nebby isn't a he. Cosmog has no gender. Nebby is just Nebby." Lillie responds obviously getting semi upset.

"Huh? What I am a 'he'! I may be Nebby but I'm also male! Now let me out!" Nebby says peaking out of the bag.

"No Nebby!" Lillie says shoving him back in.

"Yes Nebby. Let him out. And he is too male. I can tell. And he was clearly bothered by how you claimed he was genderless." Cookie responds.

"The professor said that he couldn't tell what gender it could be and that it probably didn't have one!" Lillie responds.

"He couldn't tell so he guessed. That doesn't translate to 'Nebby is definitely genderless.' I know what I'm talking about okay? And I say that Nebby is male." Cookie says raising her voice a bit.

"Here's your food." Nurse joy says delivering the food. "And here is yours." She says placing down three bowls of Poké food.

"Alright how about we just forget this conversation and dig-" before Hau can finish Lillie butts in.

"What would you know!? You're just a new trainer who knows near to nothing about Pokémon! How would you know more than the professor!?" Lillie fires back raising her voice slightly too.

"BECAUSE MAYBE I CAN SEMI UNDERSTAND THEM AND KNOW WHAT THE F*CK THEIR SAYING TO SOME DEGREE!" Cookie yells standing up. She then grabs her food and walks back to her room, slamming the door.

Everyone just stays where they are in shock with some strangers just starring as well.

Rafael and I eventually turn to look at each other. "I think we should just leave her to cool off for a bit." I say quietly. Rafael nods in response.

"Wow." Hau says. "Umm why don't we just finish our food, let her cool off a bit, and then try and talk to her?" Hau suggests.

Lillie just nods and begins picking at her food. Nebby slowly comes out of his bag and floats down to us.

"Hi." He greets.

"Hello."
"Hiya!"
"Hey."
We all greet him.

"Hey do you wanna share some of my food I'm not that hungry anymore." I offer pushing my food towards him a bit.

"Yeah sure! Thanks." He says picking up a piece and nibbling on it. "Yummy!"

We all continue eating with idle chit chat here and there until we are all done. We then continue to just sit in silence.

"I think we should go try and-" Hau gets cut off by Cookie exiting the room and putting her empty plate in the used plate area. She glances at us before gesturing me and Rafael to come over along with a silent call.

We walk over to her and before she says anything she just stares at a spot between me and Rafael. We look to see Nebby.

"What are you doing Cosmog?" She asks.

"You said to come. Well at least I heard you in my head say that." Cosmog explains.

Cookie goes wide eyed for a moment before shaking her head. "Well I'm sorry I didn't mean to. Um why don't you go back over there an- never mind." Cookie says her sweet voice and soft smile turned into a harsh voice and
mean glare.

Lillie has walked over to us.
"Um Cookie I'm sorry for arguing with you. Maybe I could make it up to you by going on a bit of a shopping trip?" Lillie offers.

"No." Cookie shoots down her offer before walking away. Rafael and I follow her.

"Hey Cookie wait!" Hau says running up to her. She stops for him and turns to look at him with a neutral face. "Why don't we go get some masala later? It's really good and it helps raise your Pokémon's affection!" Hay suggests.

"Hmm maybe, I don't know, right now I just really need to blow off some steam. I'll see you later!" Cookie says walking out the door.

"O-okay bye Cookie!" Hau says waving.

"Sooo. What are we gonna do Ms. Cookie?" I ask her as we walk across the street.

"Do some training." She responds. Just as her hand touches the gate she stops and listens to a conversation a little ways down the street.

"I saw those team skull numbskulls loitering around by the Marina again. I reported it to the captain, of course." The man says.

"This is what happens when young people have nothing to do and too much time on their hands!" The woman responds.

"What a bunch of useless thugs! All they do is drag Trainers battles they don't want and steal people's Pokémon!" The man adds.

"I hear they keep trying to sneak into the trial sight to steal Pokémon to sell and they fail ever single time!" The lady gossips.

"Did I hear someone say something about team skull in the Marina? Zzt-zzt" Rotom asks.

"Yep. I know what else we're going to be doing now." Cookie says opening the gate to the tall grass. "But for now, let's train up."
