"Why did you run away like that?" Ms.Cookie's Aunt Meg asks.

"I don't want them to know I'm the 'all powerful Champion of regions.' I want them to like and look up to me for who I am, not because of my title. If I've already got a mega bracelet then they're going to get suspicious. I mean Professor KuiKui already knows obviously and I'm sure Kahuna Hala knows but that's where I want to draw the line." Cookie explains.

"Ah. Ok. I'll inform the Kahuna and professor then. But you know they're  bound to find out." Aunt Megan replies.

"Ya I know. But in this case it's better they find out on their own." Ms. Cookie responds.

"I suppose so. I'll call you when dinner is ready." Megan says leaving the room. Ms. Cookie mumbles a thanks in reply.

"Champion of Regions?" Friskies and I question in unison.

She just smiles and says "Don't worry about it." A ringing sound then fills the room. Cookie begins searching through her bag until she pulls out the ringing device.

"Hey Barry." She says putting the device to her ear. I guess it's called Berry? That's gotta be confusing. What if she just wants an Oran berry and the device thinks she's talking to it?

"Oh ya I'm in the Alola region. It's really nice here. Hmm? Oh my starter? Ya it's a Pokémon called a Litten. His name is Friskies. I've also got a Pikipek named Rafael." She informs it.

"Hey Friskies, why is she talking to the 'berry' device?" I ask.

"Hmm? Oh I think it's called a Pokégear. Humans use it to cominucate with other humans far away. I guess the one she's talking to is named Berry. Weird name." Friskies explains.

"Ooooh ok."I say noding.

"Hey don't judge me! So have you beaten the battle Frontier yet?

Didn't think so.

Dude Barry I'm telling you that thing is BS. It is in every region variation. If the damn Champion of Regions can't beat it what makes you think you can?

Uh hu suuuure.

Hmm? Oh ya that's what's weird about this region, there's no gyms. Yea-

Hold on hear me out. They've got these trials that you have to go through with captains and once you've beaten all trials on the island, you move on to the 'grand trial' which is facing the kahuna of the island in battle.

I'm not really sure. Guess I'll have to find out tomorrow probably. Or wait nope I've gotta go through trainer school for the billionth time because screw me that's why.

Nope not yet there's not. I think they might be building it though." It's kinda weird only being able to hear one side of the conversation. And annoying.

I really wanna know what their talking about. Why can't I go in Cookie's position just for that conversation?

"Cookie dear, Dinner is ready!" Aunt Megan calls.

"Hey- Barry. Barry. Barry shut- shh- can you jus- BARRY! BARE BEAR FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY SHUT THE FU- ok good. I've gotta go eat now and I'm pretty sure you should be sleeping sir insomniac. Oh believe me I'm jetlagged as hell but hey I'm pretty sure all trainers are cursed with insomnia. Ya. Later." Cookie hangs up and  sighs.

She then gets up and chuckles. "Come on guys, let's go eat some nums."

"Woot woot!"

"Last one there is a moldy berry!" Friskies shouts before dashing through the door.

"Hey no fair!" I call after him, me and Cookie hot on his heals.

We reach the dinner table me via flight, Friskies by jumping into a chair and Cookie sliding on her socks and falling. "Ow" she says laughing and getting up. "I meant to do that."

Her aunt just laughs at her and sets the food down on the table. Well their food. "I put both of yours' in the kitchen." She says pointing towards it.

"Aww." Friskies pouts, jumping off Cookie's chair.

"Poo." I add. We go over to the kitchen where Meowth is already eating. He looks different from the Meowths here in Alola.

"So, how are you guys liking Cookie?" He asks after swallowing a bit of his food.

"She's amazing. Kinda weird but I like that." Friskies says purring a bit.

"Yeah she's really fantastic. And I really enjoy being with her." I chirp.

"Yeah. She doesn't really talk to other humans that much. Well she didn't used to anyways with like a few exceptions. But now she's a lot more open. " Meowth says.

"I kinda noticed that with the Professor, Hau, Lillie and Hala." Friskies says thinking a bit.

"Come to think of it, when battling other trainers, she doesn't say anything to them. Just praises us if we win or when she's calling us out." I add.

"I think it just takes some time for her to open up to people. Hell I'm surprised she's talking to Ms. Megan this much. She was a lot more silent when she was younger. Well she would talk to me a lot but not Ms. Megan." Meowth explains thinking back.

Me and Friskies just nod and "Mm." in reply.

🐱🐾Meowth's POV🐾🐱

It's nice seeing Cookie so much more open. I decide to listen to her's and Ms. Megan's conversation as I finish eating seeing as I'm no longer talking to Rafael and Friskies.

"YOU HAVE HOW MANY?!?" Ms. Megan shouts.

"Well ten like major legendaries I suppose but I have a lot more, mmm for lack of better words 'second class' legendary Pokémon." Cookie explains. Woah. That's a lot.

"Wa-Bu-How!?" Ms. Megan stutters

"I've been to a lot of regions and battled many organizations who,more often than not, are trying to use or get Legendary Pokémon for one evil purpose or another." Cookie explains. "And I just can't sit back and watch that happen."

"Huh. Ooh! It's getting kinda late now isn't it? You should be heading off to bed so that you are fully rested for the beginning of your journey tomorrow. Go on, off you go!" Ms. Megan shoos Cookie off to bed.

Friskies and Rafael follow close behind as I shout a goodnight to them. It's nice to know that Cookie is in good talons/paws.

🔥🐱Friskies' POV🐱🔥

We wake up fairly early and eat breakfast before there's a knock on the door. "Well it's not KuiKui because he would have let himself in. Could you answer it for me dear?" Meg asks.

"Yeah sure." Cookie says. Rafael flys onto her shoulder and I follow close behind her. She opens the door and Lillie can be seen waiting out front. ((I'm gonna get so much hate for this)) Cookie has a face of annoyance. "Oh no not her. Not only is she ms antipokémon getting 'hurt' but she just doesn't know what the f*ck she's doing. She's just ugh." She grumbles.

"Aunt Meg I'm gonna go now, I think Lillie is gonna show me something." She shouts into the house.

Once Aunt Megan gives her response of ok and good luck, we head out, Cookie closing the door behind us. Evidently Lillie had heard her shout because she's facing us now.

"H-Hey Cookie." Lillie greets us. Cookie gives a clearly forced smile and waves. "Oh um, the Professor said... 'Hey there Lillie bring me that great new trainer Cookie . Woo!' So I'm here to show you the way to his Pokémon lab, if you'll come with me."

"It's um, it's this way." She then begins to walk away.

Cookie sighs and follows her. "You can only reach the professor's lab through the tall grass here. He says he can research moves better when he's around Pokémon." Lillie explains. "Since I'm not a trainer though I have to rely on using repels all the time."

"I guess I see why you don't get your starting Pokémon at the professor's lab in this region then." Cookie mumbles quietly.

"Huh? What was that?"  Lillie asks. Ms. Cookie just shakes her head in reply and waves it off. Huh. Ah that's right she doesn't want them to know she's actually really experienced.

"Mm well ok. Oh and about Nebby er I mean Cosmog. It's actually a really rare Pokémon that came from really far away and well it's got a special power that others want to use for ill purposes. That's why only people I can trust know about it. So can you keep a secret? Can you not tell anyone about Cosmog or what happened on the bridge?" Lillie begs.

"Secret!" A voice said from her bag. That's not the first time I've heard that. Weird. Guess that's 'Nebby'

"Oh believe me I can keep a secret." Cookie responds.

"O-oh? Well that's good. Anyways come on let's go." Lillie says running up ahead and spraying a repel.

Cookie sits back and waits a bit. "Might as well get a tad bit of training in yeah?" She says smiling.

"Yeah!" Me and Rafael cheer in response.

After battling a few wild Pokémon and a few trainers we reach the Professor's lab.

There's some banging sounds followed by Professor Kukui's voice. "Oh yeah, Rockruff! Let's go! Give it everything you've got. My body is ready Woo!

"Ahh... There they go again...." Lillie sighs.

"Uuuuhhhh are we interrupting something?" Cookie asks looking semi disturbed.

"The Pokémon Research Lab has its own unique charm, as I think you might agree. I've actually been um, imposing on the Professor here for the past three months." Lillie explains.

"Charm? Uh I guess you could call it that." Cookie grumbles.

"I'm not much of an assistant but it's the least I can do to pay him back for letting me stay. Maybe if be more help if I were a real Pokémon trainer too..." Lillie continues just ignoring Ms. Cookie. Rude.

"Hiiiiyaaa! Haha!" A voice from inside cheers.

"These sounds concern me." Cookie says backing away slightly.

"The professor... He never stops researching moves. Not even... in the lab itself. Looks like we'll have to patch the roof again... And I just washed his lab coat and finally gotten in clean too. Now it'll be in shreds. And I'm no good at mending clothes... So he'll just have to buy another new one..." Lillie complains.

"We should probably go in before he does anymore damage." Lillie says as she begins to walk towards the door.

"Damn that b*tch whines way to much. Probably a spoiled brat who ran from home." Cookie grumbles before sighing and walking in, gesturing me and Rafael to follow.

Once in the lab me and Rafael just go off to talk to the Pokémon in it.
