After the incident with the snake demon, Onigumo started to care more for Kagome and Kagome adored Onigumo. It was the best relationship Kagome had, along with her family. They were together almost all the time. In fact, Onigumo would bathe Kagome so he could protect her in case a demon attacked.

A week later Kagome caught Onigumo packing up.

"Where are we going, Oni-chan?" Kagome asked, using the nickname she'd given Onigumo

Onigumo smiled at the nickname and replied, "To the village near where you found me."

"Okay!" Kagome started helping pack up everything.

After about an hour of two, they arrived. Onigumo went into the shadows and looked around, before his gaze landed on Kikyo. Kagome followed his gaze and saw Kikyo as well.

"Do you love her, Oni-chan?" she asked

"No....I crave her." Onigumo said in a startling voice

Onigumo watched a bit longer before seeing a half-demon, a hanyou land beside Kikyo and saw how Kikyo smiled at him. Onigumo's eyes narrowed at him.

"Looks like someone wants to take her from you..."Kagome said, disapproval in her voice

"Yes... Let's go." Onigumo said, leaving the shadows and entering the forest. Kagome followed happily, singing her favorite song, 'Song of the Sea' by Nolween Leroy

Onigumo listened to her singing, feeling himself relax.

'She may be a little girl, but she sure knows how to sing.' Onigumo thought with a smile

As Kagome sang, she giggled in delight when Onigumo picked her up and put her on his shoulders.

When Kagome finished singing, she saw that they were at a cave.

"What are we doing here, Oni-chan?" Kagome asked

"I need power. Demon power. I need it to get the woman you saw." Onigumo said

Kagome looked worried and said quietly, "Okay, but don't forget me..."

"I won't." Onigumo said with a smile

After he's devoured

"Oni-chan...??" Kagome asked the man who stood in Onigumo's place

"No...I'm Naraku now. Don't worry, Kagome. I haven't forgotten you." Naraku stated

Kagome sighed in relief and smiled at him.

"I'm glad. I would've been sad if you'd forgotten me."

Naraku smiles and picks her up

"I need you to stay here. I'll be right back." Naraku said

"Okay, Nar-chan." Kagome said, giving him a new nickname

"Ha ha ha ku ku ku!" Naraku laughed, and Kagome laughed at his 'ku ku ku'ing.

After Kikyo's death and Inuyasha on the tree

It had been nearly 3 years since Kagome met Onigumo/Naraku and Kagome loved him.

"Nar-chan! Nar-chan! It's my birthday is in 2 days!!" Kagome squealed excitedly

"I know. I even have a  few gifts for you." Naraku said, with an amused smile on his face

"REALLY?? Can I see one? Please? Please? Please??" Kagome begged

"Alright, but only one. Here." Naraku said, handing Kagome a wrapped cloth

Kagome opened it and gasped in delight.

"It's beautiful!!" Kagome squealed

"I thought it might go well with your birthmark, since it's a feather." Naraku stated

"I love it!" Kagome said, throwing her arms around Naraku's neck.

"Thank you, Nar-chan."

"You're welcome, Gome."

7 days later

Naraku was reading a scroll about great power, when he smelled Kagome and her tears. He jumped up and saw her running towards him. Kagome jumped into his arms and cried.

"My Papa is dead!!" she cried in despair

Naraku held her and rubbed her back as she continued to cry.

"M-Mama says that I have to stay home from now on, so she won't lose me too! But, that means I lose you too!!" Kagome cried harder

"You have to stay with your mother. I'll be fine. I know we'll see each other again." Naraku said, hiding the sadness in his voice

"I'll miss you Naraku!! I'll miss you!" Kagome said holding Naraku tighter.

"I'll miss you, too. I'll never forget you." Naraku said

Kagome handed him two pictures. One of her and Onigumo, and one of her and Naraku. Both of which show her feather birthmark.

8 years later..... Kagome falls down the well
