Onyx here, just wanted to let you guys know what is happening since it has been over a year since I updated. I originally began writing this about 4 years ago, and have since fallen completely out of the Hetalia fandom. Despite that, a lot of people have still enjoyed this story and I do wish to continue writing it for all of you.

However, the original direction I was taking with this story has been lost and I'm not entirely sure where I want to go from here. I am also not happy with the first few chapters and so I will be going through and revising this entire story, so many things are subject to change. This won't begin until I have a clear vision for the future of this story however.

Over these 4-5 years my writing style has changed greatly, and I don't particularly enjoy how I was writing this. I have chosen some things to change, so here is a list of a few things that will change:

1. I do not write reader inserts anymore. So I will be coming up with a protagonist that the readers will follow and will hopefully be able to sympathise with. This includes making the story, background, personality, and harm that comes to the protagonist more realistic.

2. While this isn't really a change, it's more a thing I wish to point out. I am certain on the fact that the protagonist I create will be a non-binary character. I chose this because I myself am agender and so it's easy to write from that perspective, but also by hopefully keeping my writing gender neutral, more people will be able to see themselves in the protagonist, no matter what gender you identify with.

3. The description of the story is bound to change. That thing is so old 😂 You will learn what each mafia/mob specialises in as the protagonist encounters them!

4. The pace of the story is going to slow down dramatically. Which means the main love interest, Lovino Vargas himself, isn't going to be showing up for a while. I rushed the beginning of this originally because I wanted the relationship between the reader and Lovino to blossom sooner, but by doing so it felt fake and forced. Hopefully by slowing it down you will be able to sympathise with the protagonist's situation and the dangers they encounter more.

That's all I can think of for now that will be major changes! When revision starts, it may seem like the book is continuously getting updated with new chapters, but it will actually just be the new story. I will be keeping the old chapters up for people to read until I am caught up with chapter 7. Again, this revision won't start for a while because I need a clear vision of where this story will go.

Now I have to ask something of you readers. What did you like most about the book so far? Is there something you would like to see in the revision, perhaps something new or something of the old you want to keep? Should I always keep the old chapters up once revision has caught up, or should I delete them? And depending on your answer to that question, should I move the revision to it's own book, and would you follow it if I did? Since I am writing this all for you I would greatly enjoy it if you gave me your feedback.
