Inraged, I started a call with Skylar on discord imediately. Luckily she answered.

"Uh, hey Skylar. I got a question for ya." I said, trying to keep my tone natural. "Yes?" She asked. I could hear her clicking away at the space bar. "We agreed to do club quests today, but you're in Cursed Skylands and do NOT tell me one of the quests is for Cursed Skylands because I'm in the club world right now!" My tone went to imediate sassyness. "Can I not jave a grace period? Those quests are tiring Megan!" Skyler complained. "Ooh hah then you obviously aren't the one whose been grinding them for endless hours, getting ten adventurine per quest." I snapped back. "Hey I need the radiant shards okay?" Skylar was getting defensive. "I don't care if you need radiant shards or whatever, I'VE not only been grinding the club quests, but also for YOU and MYSELF!" I spat, getting no reaction from Skylar. "Fine if you want me to do the quests I'll do it, it won't be the end of the world Megan!" Skylar whined as she teleported to my character and got a quest to do. "Good, now do them." I ordered as I myself went to get a quest to do.

About another hour passed, and I trusted Skylar to go out on her own to do the quests. She did end up doing them but not many before she snuck off to the Shadow Towers. "What do I do with you Skylar...?" I groaned to myself as I went to the hub and to Uber six. Today I was gonna solo dungeons here, without anyone's help.

Once I got to Uber six, I bolted for the first dungein on the compass. Sadly the dungeon was done before I could reach it. Then I went to the next dungeon, a bit further away but before I got there somebody beat it. "Nobody does u6 that fast..." I said to myself as I raced to every dungeon, just to find it beaten. I opened the map to see where another path to dungeons was and figured out who was taking out the dungeons so fast. "Are you actually kidding me right now? Skylar you douche!" I said to myself as I held my head up with my hand and eldbow resting on the desk. "You know what?! I've HAD it! Skylar can go rot in h*ll and I'll personally send her there gladly! God damn she's everywhere! And I'm basically her slave who she can brag to without saying words." I exited Trove with anger in my click and slammed the laptop lid closed.

The rest of the day I didn't go back to Trove or discord, until Sara messaged me.

Saratone:
Hey Megan, how ya doing?
Trove maybe?
Megan? You okay?
Something happen..?

Mega Nutella:
Sorry, didn't get the notification right away but can't really get on Trove, laptop's updating.

Saratone:
Ahh that's okay, what do you still need for Hoshizora?

Mega Nutella:
Flux is my one fear at the moment and other than that I need sentience shards, charged circuts and egg fragments

Saratone:
Do you need anything for any other side goals?

Weird, why's she asking all this?

Mega Nutella:
Not really, I do need a griffon talisman for one of the Kami's but I doubt you'll get one, I've done 100+ dungeons and got nothing plus killing side enemies.

Saratone:
I'll see what I can do

Mega Nutella:
Hey don't waste your robotic salvage on me, those are hard to get and don't waste your time grinding for a griffon talisman just for me

Saratone:
Nah it's alright, I got all day to spare

Mega Nutella:
If you insist...

Yes the updating laptop was a lie but I didn't feel like getting on Trove with Skylar and everything, even with Sara I still feel like I'd get upset. Yes I'd love to start working on Hoshizora with Sara, don't get me wrong, it's just having Skylar online kinda scares me. Even trying to ignore her was impossible, she always had a way of drawing me back in.

The rest of the day I spent eating a bunch of junk food and watching YouTube as any kid would. I ignored all messages sent to me, I turned notifications off after all. Even Sara I couldn't handle, I just needed me time.

Eventually I got back onto Trove once I was calm and collected. First thing that happened was a Trove message from Sara.

Whisper from Saratone:
Hey Megan, I have circuts for you, stay in the hub

I did as the messages said and went over to the trading post. Once Sara and I opened the trading window, she put in ten charged circuts and a ten thousand flux. I didn't knowebay to give her, so I gave her one flux in return. Gladly, she accepted and I got what I needed.

Whisper from Saratone:
Thanks for the flux, it'll help me get back to 50k quickly!

I laughed slightly at her comment. While reading it I could hear her sarcasm in my head. I sent her a "you're welcome, for the tides, the sun, the sky" in return and headed to the Cursed Skylands to grind more dungeons for a griffon talisman. Why was u mad at Skylar for going here earlier if I'm going here? Because at the time she said she was doing club quests with me but backstabbed me. I'll remember this, and when she wants me to grind club quests I'll tell her "but when I asked YOU to grind with me you went to the Cursed Skylands" and go straight to yhe Cursed Skylands and refuse to reply to her.

She'll understand how I feel when she gets dragons, refuses to work for the club, and make me slave away for her on a daily basis. I would call it abuse, but she's my bestie, and the only one I've had in a while.

I can't lose her to my own gut feeling, I've gotta keep her for as long as I can.
