Ch.7 Tick Tock (Edited)
~(Y/N)'s POV~
Nature. Midnight nature. Everything's almost black and white, but I can still see the colors tinted all around me. So, I'm back again. I've been getting these nightmares more frequently since Lloyd's...not here... What's different about these nightmares is that they're more...effective. Maybe that's why I kept having these nightmares every now and then when Lloyd wasn't captured.
Heh, it's no wonder they say that your dreams could come true. They just forget to mention that nightmares are dreams, too.
I walk around aimlessly through these thick, tall trees, not bothering to worry about getting lost. I've already explored the ground level enough to know at least most of the parts around here, but it was hard to do since I'm always walking across a haze. The only thing I worry for is something to happen. Maybe I can visit my old home, sweet home, though I don't know if I could with the island being like this. I'm more used to it when it didn't look as eerie. I don't even know if my old home is damaged from all this restructuring.
"...It's your fault..."
I stop in my tracks when I hear a whisper. That hasn't happened in a while, which worries me a lot. It doesn't make it any better that these woods have no signs of any other living beings, stalking within its everlasting bodies. These individual midnight walls of grim ambiance standing tall, wearing thick mist around themselves to cover what is far beyond.
"...He's gone because of you..."
"...You did this..."
"...Your fault..."
The whispers are starting to grow more. B-But, I don't know where they're coming from... I start walking a little faster towards my old home. That's the place where I usually feel safe. I'm hoping that it'll still work inside a dream...
"...You let him down..."
"...Why didn't you help him...?"
Are they... A-Are they talking about...Lloyd?
"...You should have done something..."
"...He'll never trust you again..."
"...Failure..."
"...You are to blame..."
N-No... H-He said... I-I didn't...
The whispers start becoming louder. They overlap one another's sentences. Some are being said at the same time; yet, I can still understand every single word... I start jogging, but I know that's not enough.
". . . W h e r e a r e y o u g o i n g . . . ?"
Run. I run. I run through the dark air. I run pass these thick logs. I just run. The whispers stop and turn into bloodcurdling, thirsty screams. They yell for me to stop. They screech for me to turn around.
They shriek for me to become like them.
I can feel my chest about to burst open, letting my heart escape with my breath. My breath being taken away from me with each step I take. My energy flowing out of me as my stamina tries to use every single bit of it. As much as I want to say that I can hear my panting, I can't. Why? Because all I can hear is breathing close to my ear. I can feel it on my nape.
I can feel someone behind me.
Every now and then I'd trip over something, but I still keep my balance somehow. I don't even know what I trip over. It could be the stony rocks. It could be the firm stems of the trees sticking out of the ground. Heck, it might even be my own feet. I trip again, but this time I couldn't save myself. I fall on the ground harshly and slide from the momentum, across the dark green hair of the island. My purple jacket now stained with it's dusky olive colors. My slightly ripped black jeans also tainted, but not so much. My head feels colder as the breeze touches me.
I quickly turn around, though I regret doing so, but my body moved on its own. What could have been a black, human-figured silhouette has now dematerialized into jet-black mist that evaporates out of sight. I gape, not know what else to do. I just sit here, looking around a bit. I slowly standing up. I take a moment to try and recollect my thoughts then blink as I turn around.
My surroundings have changed. I'm suddenly within my old home. My stuff is here. Almost everything is still placed the way I left it, except...they look old. Some of the stuff looks tampered: all the books I owned, all the scrolls I've read. To the side of me, I see a mirror. I turn towards it. I can see that my hoodie came off, so I can finally see my (H/C), my (S/C), and the scales on each side of my face. My eyes look dull as my face seems numb. I've definitely seen better days.
I walk up to the desk I poorly made and see the necklace I used to wear. The designs are simple: just a string to wrap around one's neck and small, white wings as the main design. These white wings are held within a small half-circle ornament. The glass on top of this design help protect it and keep it in place.
I had always had it on until father spotted it and hissed at me to give it to him. I refused...but it costed my more human features to slowly alternate into more scales. I don't remember how I looked without them anymore. Yes, I was born with scales, but not as much as this. The only places where I had these were the sides of my head and back. Now they're scattered all around. This necklace makes me feel safe...but I don't know why. Maybe it belonged to my mother? I wish I had brought it with me... I'm sorry, mother...
"I forgive you."
I remember hearing something before I woke up just now. It sounded soft. It wasn't like those disturbing whispers I usually get. It was more...loving. That's the first.
Nya lets me sleep on the same bed as her since she doesn't mind. I sleep with my hood tight in my face by pulling the strings for my hood because I don't want it to fall off while I'm sleeping. She questioned me at first, but let it slide. When I look to my side, she's not there. I guess she's on the bridge or tinkering her samurai suit somewhere. I get off the bed and head out the door, but not before grabbing a sketchbook and pencil. I walk into the kitchen and see that everyone had already eaten. This confuses me and I look at the clock. It's the afternoon! Wow, I didn't think I'd stay asleep for that long. Why didn't anyone wake me up?
I don't let this thought stay for very long since I'm hungry. I just grab whatever's left over and eat while sketching random stuff. I could be reading, but I'd rather try something different than the usual routine. Drawing isn't anything new for me. I use to read the same things over and over again, but not all. That would bore me a lot, so I just doodle here and there back then. Now I actually have a sketchbook. It's a nice change. I finish my food and clean the plate before placing it to dry. I walk back to my sketchbook and pick it up. I had been drawing aimlessly and didn't realize that I just drew me and Lloyd playing together. I smile at this while my cheeks turn a bit hot. I close it and head outside, seeing Kai, Jay, and Cole watching something in Kai's hand.
"Ten minutes!" exclaims Kai, making all of them surprised. "He just broke his own record! The guy's inhuman!"
"Ten minutes of what?" I walk up to them.
"Ten minutes of being underwater!" answers Cole.
"Zane?"
"Yeah!"
"Wow, uh... T-That's really long, uh... I hope this is him actually holding his breath than to just be underwater and..."
I don't want to say what I'm about to say next, so I just kind of move my arms a bit and they get the point. They were about to say something but Zane comes out of the water, making me sigh in relief that he's just that talented.
"Amazing!" exclaims Cole while the others cheer and jump. I just clap with a smile on my face.
"We're not worthy!" Jay bows.
"I broke the record?" asks Zane.
"You destroyed it!" replies Kai, smirking.
"Okay, okay," Jay stands up and walks up to the others. "Is anyone thinking what I'm thinking? We've been training for so long, I don't think we can get any better. Just think about all we've accomplished."
Okay, woah there. Overconfidence can be your downfall.
"The question should be raised. Perhaps we have reached our full potential!" Zane smiles.
Zane. I believed in you.
We start walking off towards Sensei's room as they talk about their achievements. I'm happy to hear about what they can do, but it kind of sounds too confident. I don't blame them, though. Cole was about to ask a question until he and the others noticed Sensei's actions.
"Our apologies, Sensei," says Zane, as they grasp their own hands and bow slightly. "We've interrupted you."
I didn't know what else to do except clasp my hands down and bow, too.
He sighs before saying, "I'm sorry if I've been distant lately. My mind has been elsewhere since Lloyd has gone missing and to see (Y/N) not express much cheerful emotions..." This makes me look at the ground in sadness. I thought I did a good job at trying to seem happy... Usually the whispers from my nightmares would appear at a time like this, but they didn't. I can feel the others look at me in pity. I feel a hand on my shoulder and look up. I almost expected to see Lloyd since we do that to each other, but it's just Jay.
"What can I help you with?" asks Sensei.
"Sensei, what if we've done enough training?" asks Cole, making me deadpan at him. "What if we've reached our true potential? What if we're ready?"
"Heh. You might have reached peek physical condition, but you've yet to reach your inner potential," answers Sensei. "In each and everyone of us, there are obstacles that hold us back. Only when you conquer that fear, will your heart be free. Only then, you will reach your true potential. Only then, we will have a fighting chance to stop the Serpentine from releasing the Great Devourer."
His words of wisdom has really stuck me hard. I am amazed by how simple it sounds, yet it involves so much work to accomplish it in action. See, this is why I'm shocked that he's Lloyd's UNCLE instead of his grandpa.
"There's more to the Great Devourer than you led on, isn't there Sensei?" asks Zane, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"I too have obstacles within my own heart," Sensei sighs. "There's a story I've never told you."
He starts talking about his brother, Garmadon—Lloyd's dad. He talks about how they were the best of friends when they were young. Jay asks about how they two were friends when Garmadon is the 'King of Cruelty', 'the Doer of Destruction', 'the Captain of Chaos'. He just responds that Garmadon wasn't always evil. One day, he lost the katana he has in front of him and Garmadon went to get it for him. He didn't come back so his dad went to search for him, only to find that he had been bitten by the very snake that the ninjas need to destroy. Once bitten, the venom can change anyone's heart to black, no matter how pure it is. I feel pity over Sensei, seeing him in guilt like this.
"So the Great Devourer turned your brother into the Dark Lord...?" asks Kai.
"It was all my fault..." Sensei sighs.
"It's not your fault," I say, making him and the others look at me. "Don't take the fault for not being able to foresee what would have happened to your brother. You didn't know that was going to happen. You didn't force him to get back your sword. You can feel however you want to feel, but please don't believe that the blame is on you."
Sensei gives me a sad smile of appreciation and rubs my head. He turns around and closes a rectangular bag, then stands up.
"You four have finished your training," he says, facing us again. "You must now focus on stopping Pythor from collecting the four Fangblades, but never lose focus on the obstacles that lie within each of your hearts that holds you back from true greatness. Unlock your true potential."
"But how are we supposed to do that, Sensei?" asks Zane.
"It is up to each of you to discover. Now I must go on a personal journey of my own."
"W-Where are you going...?" Jay asks quietly as Sensei is about to leave.
"To a place you cannot follow."
"If your going for Lloyd," Cole starts, catching my attention at the mention of Lloyd, "the City of Ouroboros is filled with hundreds of Serpentine. You'll never do it alone!"
"I am going to find someone who can be of aid. The Serpentine have united and grown stronger and we will need all the help we can get."
And with that, we set down the bounty to allow Sensei to take his leave.
~3rd POV of Serpentine Cause I Don't Do Other 1st POVs~
Pythor and the other snakes are down in a cave, trying to look for their first Fangblade. The snake generals look at a wall with ancient writing that none can read.
"It says nothing about where the four Fangblades are hidden!" Skales complains. "Have our ancestorsss left usss with nothing!? Where are they!?"
"This, here. This must be a clue," Pythor says, pointing at podium and slithering over with his staff that he somehow gained when he really doesn't need it since he's legitimately the last Anacondrai snake, so there's no point in having it. "When the five fangs unite as one, the path towards the Devourer has begun."
"Yesss, when the five tribes unite. We've done all this! It means nothing!" Skales continues to complain, slightly slamming his staff down. "If you don't find out soon, the others will begin to ask questionsss, and sssoon they will start to think you don't know what you're doing."
"I know what I'm doing, fool!" Pythor immediately retorts. He continues to try and convince them by telling about the knowledge he's gained to release the Great Devourer. "Keep looking!"
~(Y/N)'s POV~
We walk around the village and place posters up for the Fangblades, to which Zane calls silly. I'm going to have to agree with him on this one.
"You have any better ideas?" asks Cole.
"Hey, maybe Sensei's gonna go get the samurai for help," Jay suggests, not noticing Nya visibly flinching by that mention.
"Uh, t-the samurai? I'm sure she's— I mean, he's looking for the Fangblades as well," Kai very obviously lies. If Nya and Kai aren't the Duos of Terrible Liers, I don't know who are.
"Uh, is everything alright?" asks Cole. (A/N: In Jay's voice)
"Yeah, yeah! Why wouldn't it be?"
"100%! We're not hiding anything," Nya adds, making me hold back a small face-palm. Instead, I just turn my face away from them as I very visibly cringe at their attempts at lying. As much as it is a good thing to know when they lie, it's also bad when they actually need those skills into play. I almost want to teach them how to lie.
During this, I see Zane about to place another poster up, but stops. He tilts his head towards the upper right as a soft winds kick in, blowing a few of the papers out of his hands. This causes the man who, uh...lives there? To walk up to him.
"Hey, weirdo!" he starts nudging Zane's arm a little roughly. Okay, wow. Rude. "You're making a mess in front of my store front. Yoo-hoo! Maybe I should teach you a lesson about manners!"
Zane didn't listen as he drops the rest on his front. Wow, Zane. Hardcore.
"I'm sorry, sir!" Kai apologizes, running over and places a hand on the man's shoulder. "Sometimes our friend is in another world."
"He's littering all over the place!"
"We'll pick it up. So sorry!" Cole replies quickly as we clean up the mess.
"Zane," Jay whines. "What's the deal?"
We walk over to Zane to see what got his attention. We see...I don't know what we're supposed to see actually. I did see a falcon flying, though, and Zane looks like he's trying to call out to them.
"It's the falcon! Oh my gosh," Jay exclaims in excitement.
"'The falcon'?" I ask.
They do have this weird vibe on them that I can feel, but I don't think anyone can actually notice that. The noise they're making does sound familiar, though.
"Every time we follow it, it leads us to good fortune!" he replies, running off with the others. Kai stays behind to tell Nya to head back to the Bounty and wait for us to call back.
"Wha— But what about (Y/N)?" Nya asks, making me nod at that question since I'm curious myself.
"She'll stay with us and follow the bird. Don't worry, we'll watch after her. Who knows? It could lead us to the first Fangblade!" Kai says in enthusiasm then picking me up and catching up with the others. I yelp a bit in surprise by the sudden motion of a piggyback ride and cling onto him, causing him chuckle a bit.
"Wow, you're really light," he comments.
"Thanks?" I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or not, but I smile anyways. I'm taking as a compliment.
And so the journey begins. If I'd known the journey was going to be this long, I'd bring snacks. They've been running through a desert all the way towards the snow. I'm just a little surprised that Kai is willing to carry me.
"I guess good fortune is really far away."
We—more so the ninjas—still go on with the journey. They've been running nonstop that I question how they can even do that, but they did get tired soon. Climbing up a mountain has left Jay drained, saying he'll catch up later. Soon, we arrive at a big gap, but a log gives them a pathway to cross. I accidentally look down a little and scared myself, grabbing onto Kai a little more until he gets off the log. Unlike me, Cole actually lies down on the log. Seeing that Cole is tired surprises me since I thought that he was the most strongest and athletic, to be honest. Don't judge a ninja by their element, I guess. We continue forward, but even Kai needs a break.
"Good thing... We're in... Peak... Physical... Condition..." Kai pants, placing me down. Zane's the only one who still has the stamina to keep going. He picks me up onto a piggyback ride and waits for Kai to take a small breather before running again. We were just in a desert and now we're back on snow! This has been going on for so long that I just take a nap on Zane.
~3rd POV of Zane~
(Y/N) has fallen asleep on Zane's back. They've still been running for a while before stopping again.
"Gosh that bird just keeps going!" Kai pants even more before noticing a sign and pointing at it. "Hey, what do you make of this?"
"I am not familiar with a 'Treehorn'," Zane replies. "Maybe (Y/N) can inform us when she awakens."
"Yeah, but it's probably just some wild squirrels, heh," says Kai. "Well don't loose 'em! Let me take (Y/N). I'll wait for the other guys to catch up."
Zane nods, passing her over to him and running off.
"Where are we going...my mysterious friend?" he pants.
He continues forward until the falcon suddenly spazzes and falls. It hits the ground harshly. Zane steps towards it, but then it starts spazzing again and revealing something he didn't think was possible.
"You're a...a robot?" he asks hesitantly.
He picks up the malfunctioned robot, but placed it down again when he hears footsteps. These footsteps were not the ones the ninjas would make. He looks around until he finds the culprit—another robot! He puts back his hood when the guard machine scans him.
"Intruder. Intruder. Prepare to be terminated," it starts firing its lasers at Zane, but he dodges them.
He pulls out his Golden Weapons and summons his vehicle. He rides away from the robot at first, but does a 180 back towards it. He retracts the vehicle back into his weapons and throws them at the robot, still being able to dodge the robot's melee attack. Doing this, he was able to find the weak spot.
He grabs back his weapons as the machine faces Zane again. He just motions for it to make its first moves. It did, but it didn't actually catch him whatsoever. He makes a snow pile in front of the machine from his Spinjitsu to help him get to his weak spot. Once he does, he breaks the glass which causes the robot to dance before it shuts down completely.
"The same symbol," Zane realizes after looking at the machine's symbol. He walks over towards the falcon and flips it over, seeing the symbol on its head.
"Where have you brought me, my falcon friend?" Zane walks to the thickest tree, seeing the same symbol on it. He opens the door on the tree, seeing as though it isn't actual tree—just one in disguise. He walks in, not knowing that this is the place where he was first created.
~(Y/N)'s POV~
"Zane?" Kai calls out, walking into the disguised base-like place with me and the others. I just woke up not too long ago, so my brain isn't as awake as everyone else.
"Wow, would you look at this place?" asks Jay.
"I'm trying," I rub my eyes, not looking down because I know I'm gonna end up falling down. I hear a few snickers but I don't know who did it.
"Zane, what's wrong?"
Okay, now I look down, but I grab onto Kai so that I don't fall. I see Zane sitting down next to a table with...blueprints? But why?
"Are you hurt?" asks Kai.
"You okay?" asks Cole.
This just causes Zane to sigh and look back at the blueprints. Did he see something he didn't want to see? Did he find that the falcon is a robot from those blueprints? No, I don't think he'd be like this if it was the bird. But then...did he find himself in all that paper work? Or something about the bird that was sad?
He grabs a blueprint and stands up while looking at it. He drops it then...opens his chest!? SO WAIT, HE REALLY DID FIND HIMSELF IN THOSE PAPERWORKS!? Everyone yells in shock, though I just yelled 'wOAH'.
"You're...a robot!?" Kai asks, still trying to process what's happening, though the evidence is an open door to his face—like Zane's chest.
"All this time...and I never knew," says Zane in a saddened manner.
"Uh, guess this explains why you're always acting so weird, right?" Jay jokes, trying to lighten the mood.
"I would smack you if I wasn't so nice and tired," I say to him. "Everyone is weird. I need a jacket that has bold letters saying 'Everyone Is Weird.'"
"The reason I never had a sense of humor was because my 'funny switch' wasn't on," Zane says, switching it on.
He closess his chest and old time music comes on. He immediately starts dancing. Now, those are the type of dance moves I need in my life and here it is being given to me by the price of $0.
"Hello, my baby
Hello, my honey
Hello, my ragtime gal
Send me a kiss by wire"
Jay and I are the only ones laughing: Jay's more open and I just giggle. He flips down his funny switch, becoming sorrowful again. This makes me regret even remotely finding this funny, but hey. It's called a 'funny switch' for a reason.
That's not even a good excuse, it's old time comedy. Jeez, I'm old, and I'm the youngest one.
"Oh, Zane," I walk up to him and place a hand on his shoulder. "This doesn't change who you are. Sure, you've found out something you didn't think was possible, physically, but now you have. It's nothing compared to knowing yourself spiritually. To know yourself is one of the most powerful things to do for yourself."
I can tell that everyone is moved by the words I've just said, especially since I'm just a little girl.
"Yeah, you're still the same Zane! Just more, uh, gears," says Cole.
"No matter what you're made of," Kai steps forward towards Zane. "You're still our brother."
"Really?" Zane asks in hopefulness as he looks at us.
"In fact, I bet this makes you an even better ninja!" Cole encourages, which is a better than earlier's attempt.
Zane stands up. I walk over to his blueprint and pick it up, reading what it says.
"Yeah, and how cool is that I can honestly say: 'My brother is a nindroid!'" Jay tries his best, but he sounds extremely nervous.
"A nindroid?" asks Zane.
"Now, come on," Cole places a hand on Zane's back. "Pythor's still out there looking for the first Fangblade, and we need you."
"You'll have to go on without me," Zane turns around and walks over to the table with the blueprints. "I just...don't feel right."
The three others slowly walk up the stairs while I stay behind a bit. I walk to Zane first and point at a certain area that I think he would be interested in knowing on his blueprint.
"'To know yourself is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself'," I quote myself from earlier, smiling with encouragement. "Take as much time as you need to look through your memory switch."
Zane looks at me in surprise, but then smiles back at me, nodding, "Thank you."
"You're welcome," I hand him the blueprints and walk up the stairs. I walk out the door to hear Jay correcting Kai, to which he doesn't really care for the right term. I silently snicker at that.
"How the heck do we get out of this place?" asks Cole.
"Retracing your steps?" I suggest and look around. "Never mind, there are indeed no steps to be retraced."
Speaking of steps, there are some that suddenly appear and those steps do not sound friendly.
"What's that?"
"Cute, tiny bird...?" Jay suggests.
"Wow, those are some cute, tiny steps," I say a bit sarcastically, holding back a rant. Only Jay can have a taste of sarcasm the most because he does the same. I'd give him a rant, but I like doing that to Lloyd more. He just gives me a look that makes me feel less on edge as I giggle from it.
"Did you see that!?" asks Cole, making me have the feeling of edge again, especially with the way he said it and it's not the type of hardcore parkour type of edge or emo edge. It's the 'oh my god the suspense is killing me this is too much pressure' type of edge.
"I don't see anything!" yells Jay.
"I just saw it, too!" exclaims Kai.
"Get behind us, (Y/N)!" Cole says as they all huddle up around me. I'm still able to see what's going on around us and I really wish I didn't.
"Treehorns!" I yell in fear. Their faces scare me! They look like some sort of combination of a deer and insect. I'm not a big fan of bugs, no no no. They're interesting, yeah, bUT NOT LIKE THIS!
"Intruder-der-der—" we see a robot to the side that looks like someone had destroyed it not too long ago.
"Oh great," says Kai. "I think that thing was supposed to protect this place! Guys, it's up to us."
Jay runs forward and uses his nunchucks to smack their legs, but jokes are on him. They use their legs to trap him. Kai was about to use his Spinjitsu when the Treehorns use their legs again to smack him. He lets go of his weapon and bellyflops on the snow. He quickly crawls towards his sword, but one of them kicks him painfully as if a person were to kick a rock as they walk. Two rhymes in one sentence, but I really should be caring for my own wellbeing from these menace.
Okay, I'll stop.
Cole manages to grab onto one of their legs and spin with around. He's able to hit some, it still wasn't enough.
"There's too many of them!" exclaims Cole. They keep kicking them around.
"(Y/N), look out!"
I turn around to see one of them about to kick me. I brace for impact.
"Leave my friends alone! NINJA GO!!" It's Zane! He picks me up before I get kicked off into the stratosphere.
"My hero!" I yell.
He smacks their legs with one hand that's holding his weapon while the other is holding me. He drops me off near the tree-base. Well, it seems more like a home. They use their weapons and Spinjitsu to their advantage. They still get hit, but not as often. But instead of hitting them back, they start moving away.
"Are they...regrouping?" asks Jay. Just then, another one comes through. Except, this one is different...It's the queen! THOSE EYES ARE EYES THAT I DON'T NEED. "Who's that?"
"The queen," Zane and I say at the same time, but his is more clear compared to my whisper. It roars angrily at Zane and approaches him.
"You will not hurt my friends! There is nothing that will hold me back! I KNOW WHO I AM!!"
He starts glowing, energy now flying around his form. His eyes glow blue as he flies up and face to face with the beautiful, majestic queen that has disturbing features that resemble a spider which scares me.
"Zane's unlocked his true potential," says Cole, who I can suddenly hear clearly.
Soon after, my body feels warmer. I've been cold for a while, but now I can't feel it. I can see the energy that's held within everyone more clearly. My heart is beating faster by the second. I don't know what's happening! I look at my glove-covered hand to see them...glowing? Glowing!? But instead of seeing pink as I feared, I see blue...? But why? I look up towards Zane as he freezes the queen. Maybe my father did something to me or something. This I can't explain with my own knowledge and that makes me irritated, but I won't let it get to me.
The other Treehorns start to run when they see their queen defeated instead of trying to help her. When Zane's true potential ends, he falls on the ground. The coldness comes back for me, except it's not as cold. All the glowing stuff has ended. The other guys and I run towards Zane.
"What happened?" he asks.
"That was AWESOME!" Jay exclaims.
"You should've seen yourself!" Kai places a hand on Zane's shoulder.
"I've never seen anything like it!" Cole exclaims.
"Yeah, Zane! That was so cool!" I say. I'm not going to tell the guys what I just experienced, though.
"This must be what Sensei meant about unlocking our hearts!" Zane looks at his hands. He stands up and faces us, taking off his hood. "I remember now. I-I remember everything! I remember my father and how he cared for me. I remember where I came from, and I feel stronger for knowing."
He looks at me with a smile and I smile back.
"I told you so," I continue to smile.
"I'm so jealous! His powers are so cool!" says Cole.
"We have our very own nindroid!" Jay rejoices as they all high five each other.
"Watch out, Pythor! We're coming to get you," says Zane as he puts back his hood and stares off to the distance.
~3rd POV~
The snakes have found a way to get the map to unleashing the Great Devourer and claim Ninjago as their own.
Sensei used the Traveler's Tea he bought from a tea lady who didn't want to sell it to him at first but did anyways after getting money. It makes people wonder why she even has it if she claimed to never heard of it. He pours it around the fire which turns it blue, causing a portal to appear in front of him. He takes his stuff and walks through, entering another world.
"Hello, brother," a voice familiar to Sensei says, turning his attention towards them. "What took you so long?"
The figure starts laughs a maniacal laugh.
It's Lord Garmadon, father of Lloyd Garmadon.

Wow woah wowie, what's this happening to (Y/N)?
