Only a few minutes had passed, but it felt like days to Zak. Jude was currently fixing up Zak's hair, giving it a more attractive glint.

"Stop squirming like that, you'll mess it up!" Jude scolded Zak, who hadn't even noticed he was making a disturbance. He couldnt help it; his mind wandered too easily. It was so hard to believe he was going to be married to Darryl, the boy hed met through an application for a Minecraft server.

"Zak! What did I just say?" Jude cut into Zak's thought train like a sharp boulder tumbling down a mountain.

"Sorry, I just can't help it," Zak stiffened himself, all of his emotion stuffed into his voice.
