Steve X Reader Chapter 2: Welcome

You two went up a hill not too far from the village. You looked down at the landscape below, gasping at it. The view was stunning and sparkling, as if you were inside a handmade painting. It was relaxing and airy; you just wanted to sit down with your feet over the soft grass.

But while you were looking at that view, Steve looked at you with a smile. “Lovely, isn’t it?” He remarked, putting an arm around you. You looked at him and smiled, nodding at him. “Yeah, breathtaking.” You responded, giving a slight smile.

But that’s when you realized (Even though it was obvious), his arm was around you. You blushed, making you hesitate to move. Steve looked at you and tilted his head slightly, looking at you with curiosity. "What's wrong? Your cheeks are red and warm." He asked, poking your cheek.

You shook your head and squeaked, looking at him. "Oh, uh, nothing. Nothing." You answered, your voice shaky once again. He smiled and nodded, taking away his arm. "Well then, come on!" He chimed, walking into a medium-sized wooden house. You went inside, silently following the tall man.

He scratched his head and chuckled, a goofy smile on his lips. "Sorry if it's kinda small...but two people can still live in it. I don't think you're from here, so why don't you stay with me?" He spoke, his gaze locked with yours. You flustered, trying to look away without him noticing.

He held your hand gently and tugged you off, showing you the different parts of the house. Your face got redder, unsure of what to do. After a few moments of running about the house with this stranger, you and Steve finally made it in the final room: The bedroom.

He looked at you and grinned, his eyes straight at yours once again. You looked at him, calmer than before. You smiled slightly, a light tint of pink brushed your cheeks. He slowly brushed your hand, showing you around. (I don't think that makes sense.)

For the final time, he held your hand, feeling it (I feel awkward holy shit). You squeaked and nervously looked up at him, your face as red as a cherry. He looked at you and grinned, gently letting go. "Sorry, your hand was just really soft." He stated.

You looked away, if possible, your face got redder. He walked over to a chest and placed his stuff in it, even his shirt. (Because I have to stick to the chapter lel) Your face went back to normal, making you sigh in relief.

But luck wasn't on your side, or your emotions, I should say. You turned around and looked at him, your leer quickly turned into a confused and embarrassed focus.

You yelped quite silently, yet still heard. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't know you were changing!" You quaked, afraid to look away. He looked at you and hummed, confused by your reaction. "What's wrong? It's just my shirt, isn't it?" He asked, closing the chest.

You stood there silent, staring his BOOTIFUL BOD. (Okay I've gone silly forgive me) Tiny and light scars covered parts of his tan body, hIS TAN AND EXTREMELY SMEXY BOD.

After a while of peering, you heard chuckles. You shook your head and looked at Steve, confused by his amused laughter. "I'm not sure if that stare is a compliment or not." He marveled, making your cheeks warm.

You looked down, your face red once again. "Go ahead and sleep, you seem tired." He remarked, sitting down on the bed. You looked up and nodded, giving a sweet smile. You walked over and layed down, wrapping the red blanket around you.

You quickly fell asleep, your breath nice and steady. He gazed at your quiet sleep, making the corner of his lips move upward. He layed down and cover half of the blankets around him. He put his arm around you gently, silently falling asleep.
