~•Laurance's POV•~

Once again, me and the other guards roamed throughout the forest searching for Zane. We've checked O'khasis, we've checked all the other villages, where could he be!? We've looked all over Ru'aun and found nothing. What, is he in Tu'la? Gul'rick? Where is he?

Finally, we decided to split up. I went left, while the others went in different directions. About half an hour later, I found a somewhat familiar part of Ru'aun. But...i haven't been here. Or maybe i was here long ago. But it just looked...strangely recognizable. Eventually I came across a house by the ocean. Now i REALLY was getting deja vu! I swear I've been here before.

"Well, I see lover-boy decided to visit! Nya~!"

I know that voice...Michi. The sly meif'wa with long purple hair and green eyes walked out of the house grinning at me.

"Michi!" I said in an unhappy tone. She walked up to me until we were inches apart.

"I wasn't expecting you to swing by." She sighed flirtatiously and swooned. "So you still care for me, nya~!" I took a few steps back giving her a nasty look.

"I forgot you lived here, Michi. Never in my wildest dreams would i ever want to see you again?" She put a hand on my chin.

"Nyaaaa, but we use to have so much fun with each other! We were the perfect couple, you and I. Michi misses that. She just wants to be by your side again, nya!"

"Ugh, Michi if you haven't realized, I'm engaged to Aphmau. I've moved on. I never want to be with you again."

"But Michi has changed for lover-boy." She pouted. "Michi misses being in bed beside you. Nya! Michi misses your cuddles. Michi misses your kisses. Nyahaha!" I growled. "Michi remembers the best night of her life when Laurance snuck over to Michi's place and-"

"ENOUGH! I regret every moment I've been with you, Michi! You're a horrible person! I wish I could never see you again!"

"Nya~! Lover-Boy looks tired, why doesn't he eat something?" Michi handed me a cupcake. It looked delicious and I couldn't lie, I was hungry.

"Ugh, fine." I took a bite of the cupcake. I coughed from the bitter taste. "Ugh, *cough* w-what's in these? Gah!"

"Ya know, sugar, flour, eggs, and just a hint of sleeping, potion? Nyahaha!" I began to cough constantly as i fell to the ground. Michi laughed as my eyed slowly began closing.

How could I trust her?
