At lunch I sit with Theo, Clark and their friends.

"How are you and Daniela?" Clark asks and I know then that he saw our moment of reunion.

"she told me she was taking boxing classes but didn't want me to join. I mean we usually do everything together" I say before I look at him acting all innocent and they buy it.

"So you're talking again?" He asks and looks at Theo

"yeah. Why?" I take a bite of my lunch

"then why aren't you sitting with them" a girl on the table asks and Theo gives her a daring look

"am I not allowed to sit here?" I ask and look at Theo confused.

I personally think I should get an Oskar award for being such a good actor.

"Just asking" she says as she rolls her eyes.

"You blondies are so cute together" Amelia (the only nice girl in Theo's friend circle) says as she sits down next to Clark and I just smile at her because I feel bad lying to her especially.

"How's Daniela? Have you talked to her yet? I mean what secret could she be keeping?" She says in a rush

"yes I've talked to her and she was in a boxing class that she didn't want me to be apart of so yeah" I say and she smiles happily

"you should invite her to sit with us" she says and the boys exchange worried glances

"I-I don't think that's a good idea" Theo says worried and uncomfortable with the idea

"too late" she replies as she stands up and walks over to Daniela's table.

I see Daniela, Caleb and Adam follow Amelia.

"See now we can get to know Daniela better" Amelia says happy, she's always happy no matter what's happening around her, drama? She doesn't bother. A fight? Brushes it off with a smile. Someone insulting her? Laughs at it and roasts the person even worse.
It's like a hidden superpower she has, Positivity here to save the day.

"did they have to come too?" Clark asks as Theo looks at Caleb terrified seeing him alive, Caleb shoots Theo a scary look and Theo almost jumps but Adam just keeps an emotionless face as he just looks straight ahead probably making sure he won't look at me or Theo

"I didn't ask 'em to come they just followed her" Amelia says as she sits down

"what the hell is happening?" Daniela whispers as she sits down besides me and Caleb sits next to her separating her and 'Mia the mean girl' as I call her.

Daniela looks at Clark terrified and he looks at her like he's going to kill her and he's probably going to try but I won't let him.

"So Daniela, what do you like to do in your spare time?" Amelia asks but we had planned this perfectly

"I take boxing classes with Caleb and some other friends" Daniela says before she takes a bite out of her sandwich

"so are you two dating or is that just a rumor?" Amelia asks and points at her and Caleb

"Amelia" Theo says like she'd asked a rude question

"don't worry Goldie Locks it's not like they're going to kill me. Thought he looks like he's ready to kill you. What did you do?" She looks at Caleb that's staring at Theo and I get goosebumps on my arms

"nothing" he says but doesn't look at Caleb

"we're dating so he's off limits" Daniela says and Clark doesn't take his eyes off her.

"How's your wound?" Mia asks Caleb in a mischievous tone

"what wound?" He asks and her eyes widen

"how?...you should..." she starts but Theo gave her a look that demands "not in front of her"

"what wound?" I ask curious

"he fell yesterday" Theo says and Daniela looks at me a little bit proud of my performance

"I wouldn't be surprised if he would be stabbed and didn't get a scratch" I say and Caleb looks at me quickly

"what do you mean?" Clark asks interested and gave Theo a accusing look

"I mean look at him. If my best friend wasn't dating him I'd think he would be a professional gang leader or something like that" I say innocently

"would you believe if I told you he's a wolf?" Mia asks and Clark looks really interested

"yeah right, because he's going to turn into a furry thing on a full moon like in the movies" I say and howled sarcastically. Theo looks relieved that I don't know and Clark leans back in his seat like he's lost interest in what I'm talking about.

"Anyways. How long have you two been dating?" Amelia asks changing the subject

"basically since we met" Daniela looks at Caleb.

"What was that?" Daniela asks me when we get to class

"honestly, I don't know" I say just as confused as she is

"you put up quite the show back there" Caleb says and looks accusingly at me

"thanks...I think?" I say not sure if he's congratulating me or suspicious of me

"how do we know you aren't acting now" he says accusing me of working with the hunters

"Caleb!" Daniela say punching him in the shoulder

"because I'm not a terrible person" I say as Adam chuckles a bit and Caleb gives him a quick glance of irritation

"what?!" He asks but Caleb ignores him

"being a terrible person is not a excuse" Caleb says and stops us all

"Well boxing isn't ether but still you came up with that" I say and he takes a step towards me but Daniela stops him like before as he calms down a bit

"I don't trust you and I don't think I'll ever trust you" he says but it sound more like a warning that he'll be watching me.

"well I trust her and will always trust her" Adam says stepping in

"I'm with Adam on this one" Daniela says and Caleb looked at her confused but understands

"can you please try at least to let her earn your trust?" She asks...or more like demands but I'm not really sure which one

"Sorry, but I can't do that" He says not giving up but I don't know why he hates me so much now, more than before. I mean he hated me before but not as much.

"why do you hate me so much?" I ask him going straight to the point

"because...just because. Don't question it" he answers looking for a reason to hate me and I see Adam's face almost drain of all color when he hears Caleb's answer

"Adam, you okay?" Daniela asks worried

"you...that's messed up" he says and he meant it

"don't you dare say or do anything or I will beat you up so bad you'd actually need to go to the hospital for the first time" Caleb says and literally looks like he's about to murder the next person that speaks so none of us say anything we just go to class because all of Caleb's threats are real no matter how insane they are.

"What was that about?" I ask Adam in class

"Doesn't matter" he says and rubs the back of his neck

"you don't think I heard his threat to put you in the hospital because he said it quite clearly" I say and Adam gives me a strange look

"you heard that?" He isn't sure if to believe me or not

"yeah he didn't whisper it he almost yelled it" I don't really know what he is so confused about, Caleb had yelled the words not really a quiet way to go

"those were mind whispers as we call them because nobody can hear them except the pack but alphas can also mind whisper privately to another beta in his or hers pack. No human has ever been able to hear them. And I don't know who came up with the name" Adam whispers so quietly I almost don't hear him

"and what does that mean?" I ask stunned

"I don't know but I'm going to have to tell Caleb or I'd be toast" he says but I don't want him to tell Caleb anything

"please don't do that" I say in a hurry

"he'll know if I don't tell him something the moment he sees me" he explains to me and I have to let him tell Caleb because if he knows that Adam doesn't tell him, he'd be beat up and I don't want that to happen to him

"fine"

"miss Amber do I have to move you?" My teacher asks

"there's no need for that" Adam answers and the teacher keeps teaching because everyone knows what happens to people who mess with Caleb and co.

When I get home I sit down at my computer and search everything about wolves and werewolves.

I hear my phone buzz. When I look at the screen I see it's an unknown caller.

Unknown: there's a difference between wolves and werewolves.

Me: who is this?

I look around my room and I'm alone.

The text gives me the creeps so I cover my camera with colored tape that's super pigmented

Unknown: covering your camera on your computer won't stop me

Me: please stop texting me

Unknown: but we're besties

Me: you're not Daniela

Unknown: I'm a better friend than Daniela

Me: if you text me again I'm going to report you

Unknown: to your friends...oh, I mean your dogs?

I get goosebumps and I call Daniela

"helloooo" she said in a singing voice

"I'm freaking out! Someone randomly just started texting me and the person seems to know about...you know" I say as my heart's racing in my chest.

"you're not kidding your heart is beating like crazy. I'm coming to get you, you're staying with me, Caleb, Adam, Nancy, Joshua and Candy" before I can say anything she hangs up on me.

I pack my stuff for two days because I'm not going to stay any longer than that, my phone buzzes

Unknown: running away won't stop me ether. I'm unstoppable

Me: you're creepy

Unknown: no I'm a person

Me: who are you?

Unknown: your future when you notice me

Me: do you go to the same school as me

Unknown: yes

Me: then stop texting and talk to me in real life

Unknown: I can't

I hear something fall so like in no horror movie ever I go check it out with my handy dandy keys that I always have on me. Not that I know how to protect myself much with keys.

I get to the kitchen and see a pot on the floor.

I don't turn around as I just run for the knifes and take the two biggest and sharpest (aka the only two I have)

I turn around as quickly as I can and see a black shadow-creature-thing shoot by the entrance to my kitchen

"who's there?" I call

"I have knives and I know karate"

"no you don't. But you may be armed" a deep voice says and I'm so scared I almost drop the knives

"get out of my house" I don't know what to do at the moment other than hope they leave

"you can hear me so I don't have to go" the person says

"Caleb?" I hope it's him but then a big gray wolf comes in

"no but I'm his worst nightmare" the wolf looks ready to kill me if I move and then someone kicks down the door and I see Caleb and Adam burst in.

The wolf runs towards me and jumps out the kitchen window leaving bloody foot prints on my clean white floor that's really hard to clean.
