I stay home the day after the library and ignore everyone who tries to contact me.

I've gotten a few worried voicemails from Theo the part of my life that I thought wasn't filled with lies is filled with lies as my whole life is filled with them every way I turn is another lie.

Is Caleb the Alfa?

Adam has to be a beta like Daniela, right?

Is Theo using me to get to Daniela's pack?

Does the B&E have anything to do with wolves or non humans?

Are hunters humans who know about wolves or are they something else?

I can't sleep because the questions fill my mind and I need answers.

When I get to school I see Theo yelling at Caleb and I also see him holding something sharp and metallic.

'A knife' I realize

"CALEB! WATCH OUT!" I call and just then Theo is about to stab him but he moves out of the way and gets just a scratch.

Theo walks away with a scary deadly smile and I see Clark pat him on the shoulder which means Clark is also a hunter or what...wait?

Theo looks like he's just killed Caleb which must mean the knife is laced with some sort of wolf poison.

I run to Caleb and Daniela and hear Caleb growling as I get closer.

He looks up at me like he's about to kill me and if I didn't know that he's a wolf I would just think that's normal for him because it's him, Caleb with...anger issues.

I get it now, everything is adding up perfectly.

"Hey. It's okay it's just Victoria" Daniela says but Caleb doesn't relax

"she knows. How does she know?!" He yells scaring me and Daniela looks up at me just as afraid

"who...how...Theo?" She looks terrified

"Adam" I say and take out a mini first ad kit

"ADAM! I thought I told that son of a bitch to shut up" Caleb growls angry and his eyes turn yellow for a second

"damn it! Aconite poison! Fuck!" Caleb's eyes turn absolutely yellow

"stop that" Daniela says and looks around

"I can't the...god! The poison is spreading faster than it should" he says and I know Theo has a cure so I decide to go get it

"Theo? Do you know if he has a cure?" I ask Caleb and he looks at me confused but in pain

"yeah he has it in...Fuck...his back pocket on his backpack" he growls louder than before

"at least try to keep it down" Daniela says and I go after Theo.

I jump on his back smiling

"what are you smiling about?" Theo asks and looks surprised

"just happy Caleb didn't beet you up. That dude has some anger issues so can you please stay away from him for your safety?" I ask as I go to the back pocket on his backpack and get an epipen that is probably the cure

"well I gotta go but promise me to stay away from him? I don't want to visit you in the hospital" he laughs as I kiss him on the cheek and walk back to Daniela and Caleb.

"She actually...holy mother fucker" I hear Caleb yelp as I reach them and it's quite strange hearing someone yelp

"I just got the first pen feeling thing I could find" I say and give him the pen

"that's it" he says and presses his lips together in pain and when he opens his mouth to breath there are teeth.

Actual sharp fangs.

He takes the top off and injects the cure into his leg.

He releases a relived sigh and his eyes turn back to normal and the fangs disappear.

I don't believe that it's happening right in front of me.

"Adam!" Is the first thing he says...I mean yells.

"Where's Adam?" He asks accusing me

"how should I know?" I ask offended

"because he told you and your dating Theo" Caleb takes a step towards me but Daniela stops him from taring me apart

"Victoria please..." Daniela starts

"how would she know where I was?" Adam says behind me coming to my rescue

"but what was that play you had going on back there with Theo?" He asks me and he almost sounds jealous

"she was getting the cure for Caleb. Adam remember what is off limits?" She growls quietly

"I know who you want to be off limits but it's not my fault if something happens" Adam says and I look up at him.

"Say the name that's off limits" she growls again but a little louder this time and he just wraps his arms around me

"I don't know" he says innocently

"Adam" Caleb says but Adam doesn't care so which one was the alpha?

"I'm the alpha and he's just being a stubborn beta" Caleb says and I realize I'd thought out loud or could he read minds too?

"Are you okay?" Daniela asks like I'm super fragile

"I'm fine just a little bit confused" I say if little bit is the new word for a lot

"I didn't think you'd be so...so...accepting" she says and a tear runs down her cheek

"you're my all time best friend and my favorite person in the universe how could I not support you if you were going through some stuff no matter how out of the world they are I'll always be your best friend" now we both are crying

"I missed you so much" she says and we hug it out

"Victoria. We need you to stay with Theo because you're already in his circle of trust and that might come in handy when fighting off the hunters" Caleb says and I just nod

"wow. You really know how to destroy a peaceful moment of reuniting long lost best friends" she says sarcastically

"class. Shit. Ummm I'll talk to you later I have to go my class starts after two minutes" I say and run off to class.

I finally feel okay because Daniela can't be hiding anything else.

I understand why Adam had ruined my date, because he was jealous.

And Theo doesn't know that I know.
