The next few days are really lonely Daniela has been trying to call me but I know if she wants to tell me she'll come to my place.

She and Caleb have been arguing about something and it always ends up with Daniela stomping away to class.

I have Theo at least we've gone on two dates and he is a grate person, he also gets a plus for loving the Harry Potter movies and books.

Adam has more than once tried to talk to me but I ignore him as I ignore my ex that has been calling, texting and even talking to me at school like nothing ever happened between us.

There is one week left of school and then it's summer break, I'm going to Iceland to my mom, younger brother, older brother to try to forget what has been happening at least until school starts again, and hopefully Daniela will tell me what the hell has been going on with her and Caleb because they are perfect for each other and she deserves to be happy and all that shit, just that she would think I deserve happiness as well as the truth instead of lies.

"Victoria?!" I hear Daniela call and I start to speed up

"Victoria, please?" She catches up with me

"all I am asking is the truth nothing else and unless you can tell me what the hell is going on with you please don't talk to me" I feel my eyes water as I keep walking.

She is my best friend and I want her to trust me enough to tell me the truth because it's killing me ignoring her.

"I can't I'm not allowed to" She says and I see Theo walk in my direction

"I hope you can trust me enough one day and tell me the truth" I say and run to Theo with tears running down my cheeks.

"You okay?" He asks and I just nod.

In class I have to sit next to Adam

"please don't blame Daniela for what happened it was my fault" he says blaming himself but it isn't his fault Daniela doesn't trust me

"it's not your fault. Daniela should trust me enough to tell me what's going on. I hate seeing her and Caleb fighting it breaks my heart because she deserves to be happy with him, they are perfect for each other" I say and blink away tears

"meet me in the library after school and I'll tell you what's going on and why she couldn't tell you" he is ready to sacrifice his friendship with her to make me talk to her again.

"I don't know, I'm studying with Theo after school" I really want to know what Daniela has been keeping secret but I want her to tell me

"this is your only chance to know the truth because Caleb will never let Daniela tell you" he says as he takes down notes

"how do you know?" I ask and doodle the deathly hollows mark in my book

"because that's what they've been arguing about. Daniela wants to tell you but Caleb won't let her" he says as he looks at me

"fine. But where in the library? It's quite big" I say

"what's your favorite book? We'll meet there" he looks at me doubting I'll make an appearance

"Harry Potter" and that meant we'll meet where the Harry Potter books are.

"Don't tell Theo anything. Just tell him you're not feeling well or something like that" I don't want to lie to Theo but I'm desperate

"Fine but I don't like lying to him or anyone at all" I say and he gives me a look I don't recognize.

After school I text Theo that I don't feel okay so I have to cancel.

I go to the school library and to the Harry Potter books.

"Victoria?" I hear Josh say behind me but I ignore him and he walks away.

After a while I see Adam walking to me.

"Caleb is going to kill me for this" he says and rubs his face

"I don't have all the time in the world" I say hinting him to go straight to the point

"yeah, right. Ummm. You will ether believe me or not so it's kind of dangerous for me to tell you this. Just promise me not to tell anyone but you can tell Daniela and her friends okay?" He sounds nervous

"I promise" I'm not going to tell anyone because I just need a reason to talk to my best friend again

"I don't want you apart of this, okay? so when Caleb meet Daniela he trusted her immediately but the rest of us didn't because she could rat us out. But then she proved her loyalty to the pack when she saved me from a hunter..." he stops and waiting for my reaction but I don't show any so he continues

"she was an omega in need of a pack and Caleb provided one for her. The wounds and bruises are when we are fighting off hunters" he says and I realize what he's saying.

They're wolves and my face shows it all

"so you get it now?" He asks and rubs the back of his neck

"wolf..." I start but he stops me before I can finish

"yes. Don't tell anyone especially Theo. He's dangerous to us" so Theo must be a hunter

"is he a hunter?" I ask and my mind fills up with questions

"his whole family is. It runs in the blood" he growls quietly

"huh...I'm dating the person hunting my best friend" I try to wrap my head around it all but one specific question pops up in my mind

"why are you telling me this?" I ask

"like I told you Caleb trusted Daniela immediately and I trusted you the moment I saw you" he says and looks at me worried

"this...this is messed up" I don't want to believe it but it's the only explanation I have at the moment and for some weird reason it's logical to me.
