Scarlet's POV

I wake up and look at my alarm clock. It's 5am and my alarm hasn't gone off yet. I get up and brush my teeth. I brush my hair and put it in its usual braid. I go to my closet and grab my black crop top, black skinny jeans, and my black heeled boots. I put on red lipstick and my alarm clock goes off. I turn it off and get my school bag ready. I put in my pencils, erasers, my school books, and paper. All that's left is my lunch.

I go downstairs and Mom's eyes nearly pop out. I walk to the fridge and get my lunch. It's a pb&j sandwich, an apple, Lays potato chips, butterscotch pudding, and a cherry energy drink.

I get 3 waffles, chocolate chips, whip cream, cream cheese icing, and syrup. I set one waffle on my plate and put all the toppings on it. I do the same with the other 2 waffles and eat it all.

"You may need to brush your teeth again." Mom jokes.

I chuckle and go to brush my teeth again. I reapply my lipstick and walk to school because my bike is getting a new coat of paint.

I'm walking, when I see a black cat slink out of the shadows. It rubs itself against my legs. I laugh and kneel down.

"Well, aren't you a handsome kitty." I say. rubbing it behind its ear, earning a pur. It slips away and it meows to me. I understood it in an instant, due to my magic.

It said, "Follow me."

I nod my head and the cat runs off. I chase after it and follow it to an abandoned warehouse. I walk in and see the cat transform into a man.

'Oh shit.'

"Great job, Duman. You brought her right to us." says a voice above or behind me.
