I'm discontinuing this book. It's not because I'm leaving the fandom.

I'm not/was never writing for myself, and I forced myself to put these chapters out, just to make a specific person happy.

I still want to make this person happy, but I don't want to keep forcing myself to do something I hate.

I'll be rewriting this

Don't get your hopes up, I might not publish the rewritten version.

If you look at a second account I have where I write for myself (I'd prefer if you didn't try to find it), I have 700 views on a book. This book has 400. I'm glad for all the reads I really am, thanks for spending your time reading this book,  but I find that my books do better when I write for myself.

To that person I was writing this book for:

I love talking about headcanons about the story with you, it made me so happy knowing you liked something I did, but I had to tailor my story to you. I couldn't include things I liked because my mind was filled with those headcanons I said I would include.

I've tailored this story to your liking. I love that you put your time into the character designs and fanart and everything, but I don't want to keep writing a story that I have to tailor for someone's liking. I didn't know what I was doing when I started this book, maybe that was a good thing.

Hopefully, if I'm proud enough with the rewritten version, I'll show it to you. Maybe if I think it's good enough, I'll publish it. The only reason I kept writing this was that you asked, or wanted to see the update. You've got your own stuff to work on, and making a comic is much harder than just putting words onto paper.

I might not show you the new version because I don't want that to have that one tailored to what you want or like. I'll gladly take your criticism when asked but I really just want to write it for myself, to myself. Now you can focus more on your au without having to worry about mine.
