Ink woke up to the sound of a scream outside his door. He opened his door to see his mom shaking in the arms of his dad.

"Wha...what happened..." Ink mumbled tiredly, rubbing his eyes. He looked at the floor to see a dead servant at his feet holding a letter. The name was smeared and covered in blood, there was blood along the hallways suggesting the body was dragged to his door. He saw bloody footprints leading to the window next to his room. Ink grabbed the letter and opened it looking at his mom.

Dear Ink,

I saw a glimpse of you in the hallway and more of your face when you looked outside your window looking for me. I will be hiding at the ball, waiting to see you again. If you find me...you'll be able to see me! Or I will blindfold you, knock you out, and keep you trapped in my home and use you for money. Either could happen~. Have fun hunting for me at the ball, any suitors that you talk to have a 50/50 chance of being slaughtered by yours truly and their bodies will be hung on your palace walls~ If you cancel the ball I will kidnap you in your sleep so have a little fun with your parents before you're taken from your throne.  Also, don't bother screaming when you see me, I know I'm a wanted criminal. Have fun at your ball!~ It will be the last time you see your beloved parents

Ink's hands were shaking by the time he finished the letter. He looked at his parents with the letter still clutched in his hands.

"Dad...Uh-Can you come here for a second?" Ink said his voice shaky. Dream walked over and grabbed the letter from Ink's hands. Ink watched his dads face go from worried to scared to anger when reading the letter. Another letter slipped in from the window where the bloody footprints were. Ink walked over and grabbed it, running to the window for any glimpse of the person who slipped the letter in.

Dear Ink,

I see you've received my letter! I'm glad the servant caught your mother's attention, he was VERY heavy. I'm very excited to see you dressed up for your ball!~ I've decided any suitors who flirt with you shall be slaughtered and hung on the palace walls, which will probably be all of them. Tell your dad I said hi! He looked so angry when you gave him that  letter. It will be fun hearing your mother's sobs when he finds out your gone! Anyways, just to let you know I will be hiding in the other rooms in the palace, NOT the ballroom! Happy hunting~

Ink put the letter in his pockets and yelled out the window

"GUARDS! SEARCH THE PALACE GROUNDS! LEAVE NO STONE UN-TURNED." 

"Ink what did that second letter say." Dream said walking over to Ink

"Oh-uh- Nothing dad!" Ink stammered under his fathers gaze. Dream outstretched his hand in a 'give it here' manner. Ink gave Dream a defiant stare and walked to his room and shut the door, locking it for safety. He turned around to see two cloudy grey eyes sitting on his pillow with a small piece of paper that said

You know who sent you these~

Ink shuddered and he carefully picked up the pillow and opened his locked door.
"Dad...he also left...these on my pillow, what should i do with them?" Ink said handing Dream the pillow with the eyes on it. Dream shuddered in disgust and Blue covered his mouth.

"Give me the pillow." Dream ordered. Ink was happy to get it out of his hands. He walked back into his room scared of what he would find, but found nothing. He pulled out the second letter, the handwriting looked rushed and almost hard to read when Ink looked over it for a second time. Ink looked out his window and smiled when there was no one looking at him.
