Hey everyone! It's been a whole month since I updated this, and I came to a decision that I will discontinue this book.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the story, I also had a lot of fun developing the plot. It's just that... I've lost motivation to continue this.

First off, the writing is cringy. This book was started on December 3rd 2020, and my writing wasn't exactly the best. My writing is still pretty bad now, but I've improved, and looking at a few of the chapters just make me question myself.
Second, out of character personalities. There were some of the hermits that were really out of character, and it just made the story weird. There were some that I liked the backstory of and the personality of, but overall, that only applies to a few.
Third, The plotline is a little nonsensical. I've planned everything up until the last few chapters, and I still don't know if I'm going to give this book a good ending or a bad one. There were also contradicting plotlines and backstories in the timeline.
Forth, The sudden introduction of new headcannons and plots. The beginning of the book was actually winged, and the plot was only really thought out after the story was started. Like for example, me making some of the hermits watchers and other creatures when the story already started without it. Grian's backstory and past were already planned at the start of the book, but the others weren't, and it just spat out inconsistencies.
Fifth, I've lost interest and motivation to write this. Truth is, I've already written chapter 7, and it's nearly finished, but I just went, "I'm not going to finish this, nevermind."
Lastly, my inabitily to write good chapters and go with the story. Chapter 7 was actually done weeks ago, but it gone completely off the rails. It was actually supposed to be a short chapter where EX interacts with the hermits and make friendships, but then I realized I already wrote 3000+ words that don't make sense, and the story didn't progress almost at all in those 3000+ words. Also, because of the plotline and chapter plan I've set myself on, it probably would have surpassed 4000+ words.
4000+ words with no real progress to the story and written in an uninteresting way.

So for those 6 reasons, I'm discontinuing the book.
I might rewrite it in the future, but for now, nope.

I am more focused on my Random Hermitcraft Stuff book, and I'll probably release a new book now that this one is discontinued. I'm not completely abandoning this story, like I said, I'll probably rewrite it sometime in the future.
