The squad was eagerly waiting for their names to be announced as Ozpin walked onto the stage.

Ozpin quick calmed down the crowd as he started his speech.

Ozpin: Alright, now that everyone is settled down I shall explain what you have seen. Yesterday 5 boys arrived from Atlas to enroll at Beacon. Yes it is strange that they are a team of 5 and are late but I was will to let them do the initiation.

The crowd started murmuring as Ozpin paused.

Ozpin: I will call them out by their nicknames and have them introduce themselves.

This confused the boys as they have no idea what he's doing.

Ozpin: May Voodoo come up first!

Cam was nervous as he was called first but obliged.

To the crowd, a 15 year old boy walked out with a innocent looking face, light brown hair, and brown eyes. Most thought he was the leader of the team like Ruby but 3 teams thought differently

Ozpin: Now may Chieftain come up!

A boy came out looking very well built with tan skin, black hair, and hazel eyes. Many thought he was a absolute tank with what he looked like.

Ozpin: May Ranger come up!

A boy came up with a normal build, dirty blond hair, and blue eyes. On his side was a holster with a revolver inside. This caused many to think he was a gunslinger. He also looked pretty relaxed

Ozpin: May Con-Man Come up!

Next a boy with the same build as the previous, blonde hair, and gray eyes. He looked more serious and tense than the others, so he must be the leader right?

Ozpin: And finally, may Wolf come up!

Lastly a boy well built with black hair and brown eyes. He looked relaxed and serious together, but his most noticeable feature caught most of the students attention. A scar on his neck in the shape of a X.

(J's Scar, cross, and dog tags. This scar is a sword wound.)

Ozpin: Together, they will make the five man team: ALPHA. Wolf as you are the leader, you may Introduce yourself first.

J: I'm J, J Kesler.

It when to the blonde haired boy.

Con: Name's Conner Bokov! Call me Con.

Then the dirty blonde one.

Jim: Jim McKillin.

Then the tan one.

Mike: Michael StrongBull's the name.

Then the young one.

Cam: Camren Lafayette...

Ozpin: And with this we have a new team. A team that can provide first aid and are proficient at combat.

Camren stepped up putting on a white arm band with a Red Cross.

It showed the footage of yesterday and today as they saw the boys use their equipment and weapons. They then saw how J wiped out a horde of Grimm with his semblance.

The crowd cheered and hollered.

Ozpin: (Whispers) this is shaping up to be an interesting year...

After that ALPHA left the stage to see RWBY, JNPR, and CFVY.

Yang: *smirking* That was pretty cool...except when Conner almost shot you.

Yang was teasing Con as he gave a tch as a response. But J saw a little grin on his face.

Con: *Shyly* hehe...yeah my bad...

Ruby: But J, you were amazing! I mean you were like woocha! Pew pew! Foosh!

Jaune: Yeah! That was awesome! You completely speed up, how did you do that??

J:*surprised* I speed up? To me I slowed down.

Ren: What does that mean exactly?

J: Like time completely slowed down for me.

Everyone was in shock until they were surprised by Ozpin.

Ozpin: You Mr. Kesler have the ability to manipulate time and space, a very few have possession of.

With this he left and the student said their goodbyes and left for their dorms

Time skip

J POV

I'm up at 7 like always, and I start the coffee maker. I did so exercises and air boxing, when I stoped it was 7:38. So I woke up the others starting with Con.

Now everyone was awake except Jim. I had something planned for him, I pulled out a whistle I got from basic and got next to his ear.

I blew and his reaction was priceless.

Jim: Sir! I'm up sir!

He fell off his bed rubbing his ear.

Jim: Ow! The hell!

J: Morgen Schlafmütze.
(Morning sleepyhead)

J: Come on. Class starts at 9:00 it's like 7:50.

Jim: We got time...

J: Early bird gets the bird Jim.

Jim: But ain't it pretty cramped in here?

He proved a valid point out beds were like two feet a part. That gave me an idea.

J: How about we make bunks like in the barracks?

Cam came out of the lou with his uniform and agreed. So did Con and Mike.

Jim: Then lets get to work!

We started making the bunks. 1 bunk on either side of the room and my bed in the middle. This whole process took an hour.

J: Ok now that's done I'ma grab a coffee and wait.

I was grabbing a coffee until I looked at the tattoo on my left arm and saw the time was 8:55

J: Shit! We're gonna be late!

I was first out the door and the others followed behind. Behind them were RWBY and JNPR.

I checked the time and it was 8:58, so I decided to slow down time.

J: Shit! I'm on the clock!

Everything slowed down. Behind me I heard Ruby yell slowly.

Ruby:*slowly* Cheater!

I grin at her antics and I got near the building. Then I thought of something, if I turn to dust could I go though vents?

I proved my theory by running to the vent and turned to dust. And I ended up in class with two minutes to spare.

Time when back to normal for me and I got some weird stares but I shrugged it off. I waited and saw my friends fall over each other with no time to spare.

After they apologized to this Mr. Port, they came over to sit with me. Ruby sat to my left while Jim sat to my right.

Little did I know that after this boring class I'd get closer to the person to my left.

A/n: that's all I'm gonna put the Weiss and Ruby argument in the next chapter. I may not update as much because of me looking for inspiration. But for now BUH-BYE!!!
