J POV

Me and Jim are walking around in the forest occasionally coming into contact with Grimm unable to find the others.

Jim: Man, the hell are the others?

Me: Patience Jimmy-Cricket, we'll find them or they'll find us.

Then we found a Grimm just sitting there doing nothing.

Jim: You want him?

Me: Sure.

I sneak up on the Grimm about to stab it but Jim ended up shooting it, having the round fly by my head. He hit the Grimm with a headshot and I turned around fuming.

He walked passed and said with a smirk.

Jim: You were to slow.

Me: What the hell is wrong with you! You could of taken my head off!

Jim: Well I didn't did I?

At this point I've taken enough of his crap. I swapped my mag from fire to lighting. And I raised my Colt about to let him ride the lightning.

Ruby POV

I watched Jim almost kill J and I was furious at how reckless he was! He was more (or less) reckless then me!

Then I saw J reload his pistol and aim it at Jim we all went wide eye when he fired and Jim fell to the ground. We all thought he killed him but his body was spazzing out.

We finally realized he shot him with a lightning dust round shocking him.

J POV

I let Jim ride the lightning and he finally got up.

Jim: Ow! The hell man!

Me: You deserved that you prick!

Jim: Like always you finish the argument by shocking or punching me.

Me: Because your always being a smartass!

Jim: Says the guy that shot me.

He started walking off and I got so pissed I used the rest of the mag on a tree nearby. I reloaded and heard Jim again.

Jim: You done?

J: Yeah I imagined that tree was you.

Jim:*smirking* Yeah I can be pretty branchy right?

Me: I-I pffft *chuckling* Okay I'll give you that one!

Jim: Better now?

Me: Ahh yup I'm good. Let's go.

And we walked into the forest.

3rd POV

Everyone but Yang was groaning about the pun Jim made but it looked like it cheered up J.

J POV

We're walking in the forest trying to find the temple hoping that we'll find the others there already. That was until a bunch of grass and dirt sprayed up from the ground.

Me: Shit! Contact!

Me and Jim hide behind trees think that a Chedaki Insurgent was shooting us for some reason.

??: Shit! Chaos!

Wait that's our challenge phrase... We've been shot at by our own!

Me: Ruin! Friendlies! Hold fire!

??: Дерьмо! Sorry boss!
(Crap!)

Conner was calling out to us. Dumbass needs to confirm his targets!

Me: Goddamn Con that was close!

Con: Sorry it's not like you're wearing orange!

He came out of the brush and I gave my signature nose pinch.

Me: Just- Just come on!

Con: Wait boss! I saw the temple! it's this way!

We walked of in that direction.

Time skip

I was walking behind my second in command and my childhood friend. I was deep in thought.

What happened on Altis? How'd we get here? And finally why are we here? Maybe this is a second chance on life.

Then I bumped into something and that something was a Grimm.

Ruby POV

We saw J walk away from Jim and Conner. He was just walking aimlessly.

Me: Where's he going?

Weiss: Yes I was wondering also.

Then he walked into a big pack of beowolves not even seeing them then he bumped into one.

J: Oh hi...some party huh?

He slowly backed up but he was surrounded. I started to really get worried he might die.

Back to J

I was getting the crap kick out of me. Always when I would kill one another blindsided me.

I just killed five more with full auto fire until I heard the click of a empty magazine. I tried reloading but one of them swiped me into a tree.

My aura broke and I couldn't get back up. I believed that this is it, this is where I die. At least I keep my promise to die first.

Then as I was accepting my fate I remembered what effects it could have, the squad would probably be depressed. But then I thought of Ruby she already lost someone close and then lose a friend. That made me pissed I don't know why but it just did.

I open my eyes and saw the black smoke the Grimm were emitting went to me. It felt like I was absorbing it and I felt stronger. It even gave me my aura back.

I got up and by instinct I opened my hand and Time Splitter appeared in my hand, I unraveled my grapple so it touched the ground.

A Beowulf tried slashing me and I phased right through it and I cut it down. I blasted some and turned to dust when I dashed at them.

A lot of smoke was being absorbed by me and I felt powerful. I brought my hands back and focused my power and a giant clock appeared under me then I flew.

When I hit the ground all the smoke cut the Grimm down. Pretty cool!

Jim POV before

Me and Con are walking when we stumbled upon the temple. Also Cam and Mike were there too.

Mike: Yo guys!

Con: What's good!

Cam: Hey you guys seen the boss?

Me: Yeah he's right *turns around* here...

Con: Oh goddamnit...

Me: Let just grab a relic and find him!

We looked over at the relics and they turned out to be chest pieces.

Cam: So which one?

Con: If J taught me anything, its that marines are the pawns of war.

So we grabbed 2 gold pawns and walked out of the temple and when we did there was a huge explosion and Grimm smoke in the sky.

Me: Ahhhh Shit...

3rd POV

J was taking a breather and saw his squad walk up to him.

Jim: What in the ifreann goddamn happened here? (Goddamn hell)

J made dust appear on his arms.

J: I think I unlocked my semblance.

As he said this he pointed at the clock tattoo on his arm. But was surprising was that it was moving like a clock and it was right on time.

Mike: Damn already? Well anyway we found the temple and the relics so let's get out of here.

Time skip

After J Dropped on the Grimm they lost all camera footage except the cam for Ozpin and Glynda. Three certain teams were worried about the 5 boys until...
