Meet me after school in my dorm room. It's on the seventh floor, room 781. --KIBA
Is what the note, that somehow managed to get into Naruto's pocket, said. Was he going to tell him about Sasuke? Or does he want to talk about something else? Well he was going to find out once that last bell rings.
Naruto folded the note back up, and stuffed it into his pocket. He had to hurry to his next class or else he'll be late. Speed walking through the halls, Naruto found his class just before the bell rang. All the seats were full except two. There was one way in the back left next to Sasuke or the one up front next to a guy who looks like he could fall asleep any second.
Naruto picked the latter, pretending like he didn't see Sasuke way in the back. This class was Creative Writing with Mr. Hatake. It appeared to be fun since there seemed to be no sign of writing essays, and only writing short stories.
Once again, the students chatted away while the teacher sat at his desk, reading a book. Naruto put his fist under his chin, only glancing back a couple times to see what Sasuke was doing, and he looked just as bored as Naruto.
Maybe he should have sat next to Sasuke? It wasn't fair that all of a sudden Naruto was avoiding Sasuke; he was really kind to him after all. Naruto turned around again to take a look at Sasuke, just to see Sasuke staring back at him. His eyes back to its usual inky black.
Did I imagine it? His eyes look normal now. So maybe I imagined his eyes changing colors? Naruto thought, doubting himself.
Sasuke raised an eyebrow at the blonde, wondering why he continued to glance back at him. Naruto stood from his seat, moving towards the back of the room. However, the red head known as Gaara, catches Naruto's attention. Instead of going to Sasuke like he planned on doing, he took a detour and stopped at Gaara's desk.
Damn it! Cockblocked by my own roommate. Sasuke thought, crossing his arms over his chest. For the rest of the class, he watched Naruto and Gaara talk about nothing.
...
Lunch was the hardest time for Naruto. This was the challenge to see where he belonged, and usually he didn't belong anywhere. He stood at the door way and scanned the area, looking for any potential friends. But none were found, not even Kiba or Sasuke were trying to invite him to sit, chat and eat. He sighs, turning around to walk away from the cafeteria. Naruto wandered the halls, eventually finding himself outside. There he spotted Gaara, sitting by himself under a tree.
Naruto's heart fluttered slightly, only because he thought Gaara was a totally sexy beast. He approaches Gaara, waving slightly. "Hey."
Green eyes flickered up to the blonde as he returns the greeting. Gaara sat in the shade, his thighs close to his chest and his elbows resting on his knees.
"Mind if I sit with you?" Naruto asked, and Gaara shook his head no.
The red head felt strange. Usually, people wanted to stay away from him because of his unpredictable mood swings and also because he looked like some emo freak, but Naruto was different. He didn't shun him because of his weird looks, or his sometimes nasty attitude. Which is why he felt strange.
"Shouldn't you be sitting inside with Sasuke?" Naruto asked, leaning closer to Gaara. The red head refrained from rolling his eyes.
"Just because we're roommates, doesn't mean we're best friends," Gaara answers. "And if that was the case, shouldn't you be in there with Neji?"
Naruto looked down at the grass beneath him, unconsciously plucking tiny flowers from their roots. "I haven't seen Neji all day, I wonder what he's doing?"
"Go find him then, and leave me be," Gaara snapped, his mood changing drastically. "God, go away!"
Shocked by this, Naruto stands from his spot. "S-Sorry Gaara. I'll leave you alone," Naruto mumbles, walking away from him.
This strange feeling returned to Gaara. He felt as if the sunlight has left from his vicinity, leaving only darkness behind it. The wind blew, and a chill crept up on Gaara, making him shiver slightly.
He hated this strange feeling.
...
After school Naruto didn't go straight back to his dorm, instead he went up to the seventh floor, seeking for room 781. After thirty minutes of looking for it, he finally spots it and knocks on the door, waiting patiently for someone to answer.
The door opened, and Kiba's head peeked out. "You came here alone, right? No one followed, not even Sasuke, right?"
Naruto nodded, and Kiba pulled him in, closing the door behind the,. "My roommate won't be here for a while, so I have time to tell you this."
Kiba sat down on the floor, and Naruto followed. Kiba sighs and says, "You should really stay away from Sasuke. He's no good."
"What exactly happened?" the curious teen asked, wanting to hear the story from Kiba's side. Sasuke's version of the story seemed too simple for Kiba to spread vicious rumors about him.
"Sasuke is a man whore. Every year he picks some helpless boy from this school and fucks them for a whole year, and I'm afraid you might be next. I don't want you to experience what I had to go through."
Kiba's eyebrows furrow, and he bites his lip until it bleeds. He remembered all the things Sasuke had done to him, and shivered in disgust and delight. "That bastard made me fall in love with him. God, and I still love him! He's like a drug, once you have him, you can't get enough. I didn't even last a year, he called me needy in the first four months and tossed me aside for that freak Suigetsu! The only person that didn't truly fall in love with that bastard was Gaara, and I applaud him for that."
Naruto just listens to Kiba's story. He seemed like a true friend trying to help out a clueless newcomer. "He ruins people Naruto. He ruins friendships, and he doesn't even care, as long as he gets out his frustration, he really doesn't give a shit. He'll try any means to get you in bed with him, so stay away from him! And I mean it! He's conniving and intelligent and knows how to get what he wants."
"Y-You really think I'm next?" Naruto asked, his anxiety bubbling in his stomach. "He's really going to come after me?"
"It's a new year, so he'll need a new boy toy and you're the only one that didn't know about his sleazy ways, so yeah, I think he's going to come after you. Plus, I'm pretty sure it's about time for him to break up with his boyfriend," Kiba says, looking up at the ceiling. "Who was it this year?"
Naruto thinks for a moment and then gasps, "Neji!"
...
"Neji I think it's about time we break up," Sasuke says. Neji was stunned, of course he knew that their relationship was going to come to an end after a year, but he thought maybe his love had changed Sasuke. He wanted to believe that they were going to be together, forever.
"No, Sasuke... You said you loved me!" Neji says, grabbing Sasuke's sleeve. "Don't you love me Sasuke?"
The boy with the cold onyx eyes brushed Neji off. "That was only lip service, I don't love you at all."
Crushed. That's how Neji felt right now. He felt empty, and lost. His heart felt as if it had been ripped from his chest, only to be slammed onto unforgiving ground.
"No...Sasuke please," Neji begged. He wanted Sasuke to stay with him, to be by his side. "I'll do anything, just please don't leave me."
"Sorry Neji, you knew the deal when we first got together. Did you think I'd stay with you? You really are foolish."
"But I thought I could..."
"Change me?" Sasuke laughs, but it was empty, bitter laughter. "I've heard this line many times before. You thought that maybe if you loved me enough, you'd actually get to stay with me for longer than a year. I honestly thought you were smarter than that Neji."
Neji couldn't even bare to look at Sasuke when he turns to walk away. Neji knew there was something wrong with Sasuke this morning, but he never thought it would end in their break up.
"Fuck you Sasuke.... I really did love you."
