Gabbys p.o.v:
The last two days have been so over welming, I mean first I found out that I was pregnant and then Matt proposed to me! Couldnt get much better. We has shift today and we decided last night that we would tell everyone about the engagement today but wait to tell them about the pregnancy untill we reached the 3 months mark. We woke up at 5am. "Morning baby" I say as I roll over to face Matt and kiss him. "Morning you" He says giving me a kiss back. "You know the craziest thing happened yesturday!" "Oh really?" He says smirking, "Yeah this really handsome guy ask me to marry him and I said yes!" I said, making us burst into laughter. We got up and Matt went to shower whilst I went and made coffee. I brought the coffee back to the bedroom and sat on the bed. I just sat the looking at my finger, turning around the ring. Matt came out a few minutes later and saw me. "Your upset, whats wrong? " he said sitting on the ned next to me, pulling me into a tight hug. "Its just.....I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought of was, I cant wait to tell Shay..."this brought me to tears, Matg just pulled me closer and said, "Gabby Shay helped me pick the ring and you know shes always watching over everyone at 51..." "Thank you...Matt." I said between sniffles. "For what?" "For always finding a way for cheering me up and for always being there for me.." He pulled away and took my hand,"Gabby you see this ring, it means im not going anywhere and Ill aways be there for you" we kissed before I went to have a shower.

20 minutes later we were in the car and heading for the firehouse. When we got there we went straight to the locker room, to change out before heading to the common room. When we got there, thankfully eveyone else was in there she we stood at the entrance and I cleared my throat. Everyone turned round to face us, Matt then said, "Everyone we have an annoucement to make..." He looked at me and I continued holding up my hand, "Matt proposed to me yesturday and I said yes! We're engaged!" The room filled with cheers and congratulation and soon everyone was coming to see the ring up close.

'Truck 81 Ill child at West 25th street, ambulance 67 on scene'

"Duty calls....and we'll be able to tell Chasey and Riley!" I say running off to the truck with Matt.

Later that evening:
Erins p.o.v:
"Jay...come here!" He come running into the bathroom looking worried..."what? Is everything ok?" He says out of breathe. "Im fine tell me you see it?" I say lifting up my t-shirt to reveal a small baby bump. "Is that?" "Its a baby bump!" I say clapping my hands. "Im going to be so fat!" I say pouting at Jay. "No babe your not going to be fat...your going to be pregnant and as long as both you and the baby are healthy thats all that matters..." He say placing his hand on the small bump. He kneels down and kisses my belly he then say, "Hey baby, Im your daddy I need you to tell your mummy thats she not fat shes pregnant. We both love you and cant wait for you to be born" he kisses my belly again before standing up and kissing me on the forehead. "I love you Jay" "I love you to Erin.." "Come on we should go to bed its betting late and we have the soctors appointment tommorow. We finally get to find out if were having a boy or a girl!" He said lokking like a child on christmas. "I know I cant wait either!" I said taking his hand and walking to the bedroom.

We woke up around 8am. We got up and had a shower. We them got dressed and headed to the kitchen for some breakfast. "Heres your orange juice" Jay said placing a glass down in front of me whilst I ate my toast, "thank you" He sits down next ro me at the counter. "Okay so the appointments at 9:30 and then I think we should head to the station to tell Voight and the others, we said we'll tell them when we found out" "Yeah thats a great plan, I mean we'll already be going to the station for work." We left shortly after that and arrived at the doctors office just after 9:15. I walked over to the desk to sign in and was greeted by the receptionist. "Good morning ma'am how can I help you?" "Hi my names Erin Lindsey and Im here to see Dr Mayo. " "Yeps thats fine if you and your partner would like to take a seat your name will be called shortly" "Thank you" I say before I go and sit down next to Jay. After about 5 minutes of waiting we're suprised when we see Gabby and Matt walk in. They sign in and come sit across from us. "Gabby hi, I had no idea you were preganant" she then says, "We only found out a few days ago, and hows your preganacy going" "Well we're 4 months in now and its going good, morning sickness is a bitch though" I say laughing. "Yeah dont I know it"

"Erin Lindsey?" A nurse calls walking into the waiting room, we stand up and start to follow her, I turn round to Gabby and Matt and say, "good luck guys" "you to" with that we walk off following the nurse into the ulterasound room. "The doctor will be with you shortly" the nurse says walking out kf the room. I climb onto the bed and get ready formthe scan. "Hi Erin, Jay now it going?" Dr Mayo says walking in. "Its going great, beside the morning sickness" "good, well that should hopefully pass soon enough but everything else seems good, lets see baby shall we, are we finding out the babys gender today?" Me and Jay both reply at the same time, "yea please" He starts the scan and seconds later the room fills with a steady thudding sound of the babys heart beat. "Okay well everything looks good here and you are having a baby girl, congratulation here are the pictures and Ill see you in a few weeks. With that he leaves the room. "We're having a girl" I say as a tear slides down my cheek. "I so excited, come on lets go tell the others".

We head out of the doctors office and drive to the district.

We walk into the district and head upstairs. We buzz through the gate and continue up to intelligence. When we arrive we're both smiling and everyone looks to us. Voight walk out of his office and leans against the door frame. "Okay guys, we just found out that we're having a baby girl!" I say with a huge smile. Everyone say congratulations and hugs me. Then we head over to our desk. Voight walks over to me, "congrats kid" he say pulling me into a hug. "Thanks pops" I say laughing a little. he slowly shakes his head as he walks back into his office.
