Matt's p.o.v:
I woke up and saw Gabby fast asleep on my chest. I look down to her belly and see a small baby bump, shes now 5 months pregnant but luckily, she isnt affected by morning sickness much. I look at the clock and it read 6:15am, so I get up carefully, as not to wake up Gabby. I place a pillow umder her head, and quietly walk into the bathroom. I have a quick shower and get dressed. I brush my teeth before heading downstairs to make breakfast. I make Gabby's favourite bacon and egg omlets. I pour 2 glassses of orange juice and add them to they tray along with the food. I pick up the tray and head to the bedroom. I carefully climb onto the bed and sit next to Gabby I put the tray on my lapand gently wake Gabby up. "Morning babe" I say kissing her forehead. "eh..morning Matt, ahh you made breakfast" she says kissing me back. I hand her, her food and we eat it in bed. After shes finishes her juice she goes to get ready for work. I take the plates to the kitchen and wash them before putting them away. By that time Gabby was finished getting ready and had come downstairs.

"Shall we go?" I stay holding out my hand for Gabby. She nods and takes my hand. Hand and hand we walk out of the house and over to the car. We get in the car and I turn on the engine, we pull out and head for the doctors office. Gabby has her scan today so we get to start our shift a little bit later. 10 minutes later I pull into the carpark and turn off the engine. I get out and help Gabby out. We head into the office. "How may I help?" A young girl at reception asks. "Hi, my names Gabby Dawson, here to see Dr Mayo" Gabby says handing over the appointment card. "Ahh yes, take a seat please" I sit down next to Gabby and hold her hands.

"I cant wait to find out if its a boy or a girl!" Gabby said excitedly. "Me neither" I said squeezing her hand. "Gabby Dawson?" A nurse calls. We stand up and follow her, "This way please" she says leading us into the ulterasound room. I lay down in the bed and lift up my top. The doctor comes in a few minutes later and places the gel on my belly. "Everything here looks perfect, there's nothing to worry about, would you like to find out the baby's sex?" he says looking between me and Gabby. "yes" we both say at the same time. "congratulations it's a....boy" I look at Gabby and kiss her..I'm so excited. "we're having a boy" Gabby sniffles. Her eyes tearing up with happiness. "here are you pictures, I'll see you in a few weeks" with that the doctor walks out. I help Gabby down and we head to the firehouse.

Third persons p.o.v:
Matt and Gabby walked into the firehouse, hand in hand. "Hey it's the lovebuds" Hermann says walking over and hugging Gabby. "Hey Hermann" Matt says " Hermann can you round everyone up in five minutes, we've got an announcement to make" "sure thing" Matt and Gabby walk away and into the locker room. They change out and five minutes later they walked into the meeting room where everyone else was waiting. They walked over to the front and got everyone's attention. Gabby spoke whilst Matt stood next to her "okay so we had our scan today and we got some new pictures to go on the fridge...everything with me and baby is fine, we also found the baby's sex." by this point everyone was smiling. Matt and Gabby both spoke in unison, " it's a boy!" cheers and congratulations spread through the air. Hugs all around.
