Chiefs p.o.v
I wake up to my alarm going off, its 06:30 in the morning. I quickly get up and get dressed before kissing my wife, Donna, on the cheek goodbye. I walk out of the bedroom, quietly closing the door behind me before heading downstairs to have some breakfast. After eating, I put on my coat and pick up my keys to go to work and head out the house. I walk across the street to my truck and sling my bag into passengers seat before getting in. Im about to turn the key when my phones starts to ring and I see that CFD head quarters are ringing.

I answer and say, "Chief Boden", then the reply I get is from Chief Tiburg," Good morining Wallace, im sorry to be calling this early but I need to see you asap, before you start your shift". I listen and then say," Of course, Im on my way right now sir, Ill be there shortly". "Okay, Thank you Wallace see you soon, goodbye", and with that he hangs up.

I look at the clock and see I have 1 hour untill my shift starts. I turn on the engine and pull away and start to head for the CFD head quarters. I arrive around 15 mins later, I get out of my truck and start walking into the building heading towards Chief Tiburgs office. Once I arrive I knock on the door and am immediately greeted by Chief Tiburg. He shakes my hand and says, "Morning Wallace thanks for coming on such short notice". "Not a problem, now can I ask whats this regaurding?". " Of course, im sure you've heard that house 49 shut down after it was in flames a few weeks ago". " I have yes.."
" Well the damage to the building is too much for it to re-open, soo we've decided that it wont be re-opening and that will be re-asigning its staff. We have also decided that your house, Firehouse 51, will be getting a second amublance, ambo 67. Of course along side that you will also be getting 2 new medics, Riley Evans and Chase Dean".

"Not a problem with me sir, 51 would be honoured to have them come join our house".
"Thats good to, they'll start next shift, so youmhave this shift to let your people know".
With that we both stand up and I shake his hand before I leave. When i get back in my car, I turn on the engine and start to head towards the house. When I get there, I have 15 minutes untill shift starts so I quickly head inside and change into my uniform.

1 hour later on shift.
Matt Casey p.o.v:
So far on shift we've had no calls, so I decide to go speak to chief. I walk towards his office and say morning to Connie, the chiefs secutary, and then carry on towars the chiefs office. When I get there I knock on his door and he waves me in. "Morning Chief", I say as I sit down. " Morning Casey what can I do for you?", he asks me. "Nothing much just though I come ask how Donna and little Terrance are doing...." "They're better now thanks for asking". I nod as I stand up and head towards the door, once Ive opened it chief says to me, " Casey can you gather everyone into the conference room I have an announcement to make?" "Sure chief", I say as I walk out of his office and head to the intercome. Once I get there and press the speaker button and say,'Everyone to the cofference, Chiefs orders'. As I start to head towars the conference room I see eveyone doing the same once everyones there, Chiefs comes to front.

Chiefs p.o.v:
I walk to the front and say," Everyone settle down please, I have an announcement to make", with that the room goes quiet and all eyes are on me. I then say, " As im sure most of you have heard that house 49 has shut down after It caught on fire a few weeks ago". Heads nod all around the room and I continue,"Well head quarters have said because of the extent of the damage house 49 will permentally close down and due to this their staff will be realicated to new homes. We have beem given the honour to rehouse ambulance 67 along side its 2 medics,  Riley and Chase. I expect you to wlecome them into this house and welcome them into this family with no issues".

Everyone looks at me then Dawsons says," Thats great, Ive worked alongside Riley and Chase before and they're great medics and I personally think theyll fit into this house pefectly". Everyones eyes turn from Dawson back to me. " Thats great to hear, they will be with us as of next shift. Thank you that will be all." With that eveyone gets up and starts to leave and I head back to my office.

Next shift day
Rileys p.o.v:
I wake up early as today is my first day out a new house. I have a quick shower and get dressed. After getting dressed I have some breakfast and make sure I have everything that I need/ what I want in my locker. After Ive finished that I put on my shoes and coat and head towars the front door where I grab my bag and keys before leaving. I get into my car and head to Chases house. (Chase is my work partner and we thought it would be a good idea to go to the firehouse together.)

Chases p.o.v:
I wake up 10 minutes before my alarm, I get up and have a shower. By the time i've finished my shower and gotten dressed my alarm goes off. I grab my phone and turn off the alarm and then head to the kitchen to get something to eat. Todays my first day working at firehouse 51 along side my old/current work partner Riley after our old house burnt down. After I finsh eating theres a knock at the door, I know its Riley bevause she just texted me saying shes just pulled up so I shout, 'Its open!'. Riley come into the kitchen not long after that. We say good morning to eachother and after that I get my shoes and coat on. "Ready?" I ask Riley and I pick up my bag and keys, walking out the front door. She looks to me says," Yeah come on lets go". I walk her to her car and then I walk over to mine. I put my bag in the passengers as I get in. Riley pulls out and starts to drive to the firehouse, I follow on behind her.

10 minutes after we left mine we pull up at the firehouse and park. We both grab our bags and walk inside. When we get inside we are greeted by 2 men. "Hi you must be our new medics, Im Lieutenant Matt Casey of Truck 81 and this is Lieutenant Kelly Severide of Sqaud 3". We both shakes there hands as we introduce ourselfs. Once we've done that they show us to our locker. Me and Riley bothe set up our lockers and change into out uniforms. Casey then shows us around and takes us to Cheif Boden office.

Once we've finished speaking to the chief we go and meet everyone. Afetr about 30 minutes or so of meeting eveyone and introducing ourselves we go re-stock the ambos with Mills and Sylvie. Not long after we've finished they bells sound out,'Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61 and 67, Battalion 25, Multi car pile up on the corner of Walbash avenue, Northside." With that we all run to our vehicles and we pull out of the house, sirens blaring, just after Squad 3.........
