A/N I know no one asked for it. But I needed to practice writing more redemption kind of stories. So Romara + a touch of abstract= this. Enjoy!

The skies were darkened with a neutral touch of a blood red aura upon them, lightening the mood a bit. The atmosphere seemed to be lowered at its lowest earning the happy and cheerful of the beacontowners to be gone. Out of their lives just like that. It surprised the admin that he was able to take something important away from these poor people. He loved this feeling. How he's got control of everything and everyone.

So far, he's in the process of taking Jesse's town away from him. After the failed attempt of befriending the young boy, the admin created gifts for him. Hoping that the hero would realize how much Romeo wanted a friend throughout all these years of him being alone. He desperately wanted someone to notice the mask he put on. The mask that hid his shame and guilt all those years ago. That word rang in his head endlessly. Night and day, nonstop. Somehow, there was this instinct telling him that he wasn't alone, that someone still cared of his presence.

The admin walked through the town alone. He was disguised as Jesse to try and fool the hero's friends to try and turn on the real Jesse. The cheerful boy they found playing with his pet pig by the meadows. It was a sad thought but it made the admin happy. If he can't have friends, then neither can the hero he detested since day 1. His gaze was lifted towards a structure in the distance.

It was piller with blue, white and black clay. He knew exactly to which town that building belonged to, none other than ChampionCity.

Romeo smiled at it, not just any happy smile, a remorseless and cruel smile. He lifted his hand up. Targeting the whole city. Yes, he planned to blow up the whole habitation just to prove a point. To show how mighty and powerful he was. To show how much vulnerability was present in this town. "ChampionCity..what a beautiful place. "He started, still staring at it. " It would be a shame if it was gone just like that..." he prepared to snap his fingers. In less than a heartbeat, this whole town in which inhabited many people was gonna be exploded. He was sure of this of this choice.

"put that hand down Romeo! "

The grin of victory on his lips was replaced with one of surprise. Romeo recognized that voice. It was not one of a stranger but one of someone who was very close to him. He slowly lowered his frontage to face the uninvited guest who walked inside the gates. They were dressed in an orange prisoner jumper and their hair was messy. She approached the man.

The admin stood still for a moment. silence dreaded them. He was stunned to see her. It's been forever since he last her in person without getting interrupted by the warden or the annoying Jesse who was up to something. He saw her cold expression, her determination to kill him once and for all. Finally, he had the courage to speak up despite his voice cracking a bit. He also turned back into his normal form since this seemed like a talk to be settle down between 'old friends' and not her and 'Jesse'.

"How did you escape?! " he narrowed his eyebrows, unhappy to see her. Xara got even closer to him and stopped when she was right in front of him. Aware that he could just kill her at any moment. But she wanted to try and bring him back to her. At first she wanted to kill, she hated him for what he's done to her. Though ever since she met Jesse, she learned that there was more to life than hate and punishments. "Is that really what is important right now? " Xara asked him. Romeo simply growled.

" Give me one good reason why I shouldn't boop you back to your cell or worst you end up in a lake of lava?" he asked clenching his fists. " this isn't you Romeo. I know that deep down, you're still there. The Romeo me and Fred love. " she gave a confident smile. He laughed and floated up. " Dearest Xara, I don't know if you know this but all that kindness I evoked years ago, it was all a lie. This is my true nature and If you cant accept that, you're not my true friend. " he yelled at her. She shook her head. " I may have hated you Romeo, but keeping your act up isn't gonna last long when I'm around. "

He covered his ears, irritated. No way was he gonna listen to a word she was telling him for he knows for a fact that it was all lies. Once she earns the upper hand, she's gonna slaughter him one shot. "Shut up. You're lying! " he raged. Xara lifted her head up to make sure she didn't take one eye away from him. " I'm trying to fix this issue Romeo. You aren't getting rid of me unless you kill me. " she said that last word threateningly.

Romeo felt his heart throb. Now he had a secret he didn't tell anyone: he secretly loved the purple haired ex-admin that stood below him. Now the thought of having to kill her pained him. Pained him real bad. "Stop being so overdramatic. You just want attention. " he mocked. She raised an eyebrow and smiled. " I'm not being over dramatic. I'm sick of this life Romeo. You're lucky that I'm actually giving you a second chance. " she told him.

"I don't need your second chances. " he said frustrated. She walked circles around him. "Stubborn as i remember. " she laughed. Romeo floated down and looked at her deep into her eyes. Why was she so confident on getting the good part of him back? Oh if he didn't love her, she would already be dead.

"What do you mean? " he asked clueless. She wrapped her arms around him and laid her head on his chest.

" Remember when we were still little? You made a big mess in the playroom and you refused to clean it up. " she stopped to chuckle. " Fred tried everything he could to make you clean up but you just wouldn't listen. " she reminded. Romeo was genuinely shocked. How does someone like her remember such a thing?

"Xara..." he muttered. She looked up at him. " Yes? " she asked in a calm voice. " Why? Why would you keep all the time we spent together instead of forgetting them? I clearly ruined your life and I don't deserve to be in your memories. " the remorse started entering the man slowly. Xara moved her head away and smiled at him. " even though you did horrible things in the past, I would never forget these memories for they are what keep me sane through all those years in prison. If you think I would forget about these memories you're a real idiot. " she said.

Romeo's lips started to form a smile. " I-I...thank you for never forgetting about the times we spent and about me..." he wrapped his arms around her waist which pulled her closer to him. There was a faint blush on her cheeks. He kept looking into he eyes. The eyes he found so beautiful. Whenever he was lost or scared, just with Xara being by his side, he wouldn't be scared. He brushed a strand of hair to the side of her face. "You know...Xara. It may seem that I didn't care about you due to the way I treated you but...."

He let his emotions take over and with a few tears falling down his cheeks, he leaned in slowly and kissed her gently. Xara's eyes widened but began to shut her eyes and return the kiss. They didn't care if they would get attention at the spot that they were in. This was their time. Their cheeks red and time seemed to stop for them. Who knew that two old friends that lead to enemies eventually ended out as lovers?

Romeo pulled away and stroked her cheek a little. " For so many years, I've loved you. I just can't believe that I'm only telling you this now. I love you Xara." He said sincerely. She seemed happy to hear that. "Despite that Fred is no longer with us, he would have said to move on and heal the rift between us."

She told him. He looked ashamed. " I'm sorry for everything that I did to you Xara. I really mean it. I'm so so sorry. " he started to cry again. She wiped his tears. " It's Alright. I forgive you. And Romeo? I love you too". He hugged her again before realizing that he had a question to ask.

" Hey Xara, I just don't understand one thing. "He looked at the destroyed town. The girl followed his eye movement. " What's that? ". He took a deep breath. " Thank you for trying to turn things around. Looks it worked in the end. "He chuckled. Why did she try to help him? He tried to stop hating Xara but he just couldn't even how hard he tried. It just didn't work for him. Which caused this whole mess and people getting angry. Throwing him insults and such. Xara smiled back. " honestly, I knew that this would work. I didn't just have Jesse's advice to help me but also...this voice. Fred." 

His eyes snapped open that Fred was with them the entire time. Pushing them to forgive eachother eventually. It explained the reason why he couldn't resist visiting her in the sunshine institute, not killing her and this time, listened to what she had to say. He may have killed Fred, but the deceased admin has never left their sides one single time.

Skylight, sky bright. The admin and the human faced back at Beacontown, the habitation that needed to be fixed. His rampage has been put to a stop by a courageous girl, with a single clap, Everything was restored. Everyone could be put to peace once and for all. Going on this power trip was a mistake. That he was never gonna commit ever again. As long as he has Xara by his side to remind him if he's restarting again.
