Romeo's POV

I was by the park. It's been one whole week since I've been redeemed. You're asking on how I've been handling this situation? Well it's pretty okish honestly.

The villagers have been glaring me all day currently and I've found that rather settling. Atleast there's one person who made sure by the end of the day I wasn't hurt. That's Jesse. My girlfriend.

Woah, I know what you're thinking. How is that possible? Well who said there's no such things as second chances hm? I'm just thankful that she did gave me a second chance. Petra and Jack doesn't seem to trust me just yet. I honestly don't blame them. I killed two of Jack's only friends, that must be a tragic memory for that old adventurer as for the gingerhead warrior? I forced her into fighting. Now that's just harsh. What was I thinking?

I just observed the sky even more. My eyes glimmered as I let out a smile.

I finally had the courage to the do the thing I wanted to do the most. That's to forgive myself but I guess all my confidence is formed with Jesse. She never doubted my actions at all even if they could be pretty ridiculous from time to time. Like when I tried poking an enderman.

Point is, without Jesse. I'd be lost. I'd still be on my power trip, destroying the world at all costs. My friends who are awaiting me above would still be disapointed that I didn't learn my mistakes but now, I sure did. Under the spring breeze, it's gentle wind flying all around me, Happiness sprouted inside.

I may miss my friends, but I'm not ready to join them just yet. I have my lovely girlfriend who I'm still fighting for.

Just then, I felt a warm hand touch mine, who were pressed on the cold birch bench. My attention turned to the beautiful woman sitting beside me with a greeting smile. I smiled back as I knew exactly who it was. " Hi Jesse " i said to her. She put her arms around me and leaned her head on my shoulder.

" I see you're observing the exquisite skies this fine afternoon. "She said calmly.

I nodded. " Yes I am. What brings you here sweetheart? " I asked nicely. She simply rubbed her head against my shoulder more. " Well it's getting boring by the town, I needed to check up on my little cinnamon bun" she winked at me while chuckling.i blushed at that. " Your Town was getting boring so you come check on me? " I Inquired, wrapping an arm around her waist.

She pursed her lips and smiled. " Ofcourse. Why wouldn't I? You're just the best person to be around with. " she flattered even more. I just felt so overwhelmed with all these incoming compliments. It was...nice honestly. Imagine getting insulted almost all your life just for an unforgivable mistake. " Thank you sweetie, I really...really appreciate it. You don't know how much you mean to me" i pulled her closer to my face and looked into her gorgeous emerald eyes.

She blushed. I must be staring at her for too long if that's the case then. Haha.

" W-Why are you looking at me like that? " she stuttered nervously. I laughed.

" Aw, why must be so adorable when you stutter? " I changed the subject for a quick second. She turned even more red. Yes, blush my dear~ it's compliment galore. " T-Thank you R-Romeo..." she tried to keep a patient face.

I cupped her cheeks softly and kissed her forehead. "now back on the subject on hand, the reason why I was looking at you like that was because I can't help but realized you looked so beautiful." I admitted. Jesse giggled gently.

" You're such a sweetheart Romeo. You know that? But seriously, I don't change anything in my appearance. Not even my hair " she confessed.

I kissed her nose. " Well Whatever you do, you're gorgeous to me Jesse. Every single day of my life, when I look at you, I always fall for you " I said to her.

She listened to every word I said and nodded at that. " I love you, you know that? " she pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back. " I love you too. "
