It was a sunny day by Beacontown. The sun was out all day and there was barely any clouds. Whool and Riley were out, exploring the forest discovered

by travellers last week. Some say that it was birch, some say that its Acacia.

Well for the two animals, nothing beats a good mystery. " So what do you think  the forest is gonna be? " Riley asked his sheep friend. Whool simply gave a shrugging gesture before looking up at the beautiful sky.

" no clue, but I feel as if it's birch " the sheep replied after thinking  for a while.

Riley nodded at her guess. " A birch forest would be quite lovely indeed. He said. Whool was about to say something that agreed with his previous comment but she was interrupted by the bunny saying something else.

" But a birch forest is not as pretty as you" he grinned playfully at her. Whool blushed and tried to cover the hot blush forming with the fluff on her cheeks.

" Thanks, Im flattered " Whool replied to his surprising compliment without revealing her blush. Riley smiled. " Heh, I'm happy to hear that. " he said shortly. A moment of silence occurred before Whool stopped blushing.

" Ahem, So what was your guess on the forest? " she asked her friend.

The bunny stopped hopping for a second to think straight. "I don't really know why but I feel as if it's an acacia forest " he told her his guess. She signed yes with her fluffy head. Riley smiled.

As they continued walking forward, they saw a tall tree in the distance. It's green leaves danced along as the gentle and bittersweet breeze twisted around the plant, giving it a bit of vivid life. The two animals felt the wind greeting them hello. They smiled as they finally entered the secret garden  of nature. A reign of acacia trees all surrounding a huge birch tree in the middle.

The orange leafage of the acacia trees represented how autumn left them all those months ago, the nostalgic feeling of that season missing them. As for the huge tree in the center, the king of the secret forest. The tree that gave life to all these other trees. Right now, they were bowing in front of the giver of life.

Elder tree, elder tree. How it was beautiful this plant was. " Here we are, we can finally tell the truth to everyone else! " Whool cheered as she ran through the birch fences. The soft grass tapped against her hoofs. There were many flowers blooming in such environment. The animals have never seen such beauty. It was if all of this was a dream. A magical dream inside of the acacia and birch forest. " Will we tell everyone else though? Or should we let them explore this masterpiece? " he inquired, observing the greenery.

Whool laid down and first thing first, she plopped her head on the grass. Her black star-like eyes fixed on the sky once again. It was if the orange of the acacia trees gave the sky a quick blend. Now, it looked like she was faced-to faced in front of a astonishing sunset. Though, they both know that the day hasn't come to an end yet. Everything was just so peaceful in this secret garden. No one, nothing would be disturbed.

That's until they heard a small cry. Both, turned their head on reflex to the sound of the sound. " What was that? " asked Riley, looking everywhere to where there could be possibly a threat. Whool examined her surroundings.

Where was that sound coming from? It was heartbreaking to their ears.

They wanted to help that 'thing'. Finally, they confirmed that the sound was coming from nearby est of the forest. " Onwards! " Whool charged, Direction est. Riley swiftly followed.

They arrived to a specific tree, it was a bit shorter than the usual ones. But there was something special about it. A neat bird's nest, sitting on the edge of an aching branch. The branch was ready to let It's life fall apart as it accepted that it will soon fall. "Crack! " the branch only made the bird's nest tip more.

Whool and Riley gave panicked looks. What would they do to save the nest?

From the nest, were three birds, all newborns. All chirping for their mom to come save them? Where was their mom? maybe she was out to look for food? but why couldn't she hear her precious babies calling for help? " Got a plan? "

Riley asked. Whool thought. Come on, think, think! The lives of these bundle of joys couldn't wait any longer.

" I've got it! Once, the nest fall, I'm gonna let them land on my soft wool. Then, since you have the ability to leap, Place the nest by this nearby branch over here " she instructed. Riley nodded. " Got It! ". Now all they had to do is wait so that they could put their rescue plan to the test. The branch broke even more,

The nest was now completely on the edge. The chirps got even louder.

" Don't worry, little birds, we'll save you " Whool tried sweetaking the babies.

Suddenly, the branch fell limp on the ground as the nest began falling. Riley clenched his tooth as she watched in anxiety, the nest fall down onto Whool.

The sheep stood still, as she felt the nest made out of branches land safety on her back. " Phew...close one " commented the bunny whilst checking if all three were safe and sound. All that was left to do was to transport the nest back onto  a stable branch. " I've got this. " the bunny said while grabbing the branch with his teeth. He remembered to keep it stable.

After, with one quick bounce, he leaped into the air. He passed his target by a bit. He almost reached the leaves at this point. He narrowed his eyes onto the branch, a spark of new determination rushing through him. A few minutes later, he was now falling back down. Making sure to not miss his target, he placed the nest down onto the stable branch and gave a sigh of relief. Whool smiled.

" Did we really do it? " Riley asked getting excited. The worried chirping turned into happy ones which confirmed his question. " We really did! " Whool ran over to him and put a hoof around his gentle figure. He blushed at that. " Heh, we really did..." he whispered all happily. Whool looked at him before lowering her eyes and a new blush formed onto her cheeks. " And I couldn't have done it without you. " she replied before placing her soft lips onto his. Giving him a warm kiss of victory. Riley, obviously stunned. Felt all lovestuck as he realized an angel was kissing him. He kissed back a few seconds later.

Once the kiss was over, both laid back down on the grass, once again, admiring the sky. The lovely sky. " So are we going back home? " Riley asked. Whool shook her head. She gave a tender smile.

" If you don't mind, I'd like to stay here, a bit longer "

A/N so I wrote this around 10PM and finished around 10:43PM. So in the beginning, there are a few paragraphs were my adult-literate self went full literate mode. So sorry if I used a lot of metaphors to describe a plain acacia and birch forest as a some sort of secret garden. While I was writing it though, I imagined that they were in a secret garden.
