A/N Based around chapter 2 Of My Werewolf AU

"Petra? "

Jesse squinted his eyes. He really couldn't believe it. There she was standing there, surrounded by the shining light of her new iron sword. She had a serious look on her face, as if she wasn't happy to greet her old friend and to think, it's only been 2 years since they last hung out together.

The young alpha was always too busy with his leadership duties. Petra would always think he forgot about his friends. She would always hear his endless: " Sorry Petra, I'm kinda busy at the moment. Y'know Alpha responsibilities"He made his excuse with a neutral look. Disappointed, she would lower her ears and face him. " I understand. Sorry to bother you. " and at that, she would return back home, the boredom taking over and the trust breaking.

No, she doesn't understand at all. Beacontown was a magnificent town, yes but it's not that populated. Not every villager would need attention, right? I mean, they're grown adults. There's some tasks that they can handle themselves. Petra sighed as she clenched her confusion and so called betrayal.

She wasn't an alpha so therefore she didn't understand these things.

What if Jesse was only doing these tasks to possibly clear up his schedule to spend some times with her? No, impossible. Her mind was set that he didn't even care for her anymore. But her theory could be easily debunked.

Why was he standing there? In front of her, more like: wanting to talk to her?

" Petra, I-I...thank you for saving me. " he smiled to her. Her eyebrows narrowed even more. " Why appear now Jesse? " she paused to clasp her teeth together. Her sharp fangs of a lone wolf. The alpha of the successful town raised an eyebrow. He didn't get it even until now. He was clueless. " Petra I don't get it? What do you mean? I-I" he tried to make an excuse but he was cut off by the girl who let out a growl of despair. " 2 years Jesse. 2 years. You were absent from my life." she simply said without any context. She wanted to see if the boy would take the effort to dug through his memories to remember what she told him all these years ago.

"Aw you're gonna own a town? Just promise that we will be able to hang out sometime ok? I'm really gonna miss you Jesse. ". Those scenarios played through her mind like a never ending projector. All these happy times, adventures and fun they all had. She saw him smile at her and approached her in a reassuring way. " I promise Petra, my duties as leader won't let me get away from my friends. " he promised. he promised. Promised.

Promised....

Suddenly, a revolt of anger increased inside of her. Her palms were now fists, her eyes showed pure anger, her ears were lifted and her tail was curled in a ball. " You promised me Jesse and what now? After 2 years you decide to hang out with me? I thought we were friends " she explained the main deal that bothered her for all these years. "You lied to me then! "

Jesse gulped and backed away. " Look, I didn't mean to! I was just...um..." he paused to think of what to say. He was at an absolute loss for words, he didn't know what to do nor say. Petra, stood there, waiting for her valid and decent answer. She couldn't believe it, Jesse now struggling to answer her properly.

Pain and torment to her ears.

" So you really were lying about that promise..." she giggled darkly yet sadly. Full betrayal was written on her eyes. She had never felt this much misery in her life. Getting betrayed by one of your bestest friends, oh she learned. It really hurts doesn't it? Jesse tried to approach her calmly, he shut his eyes. " Petra, listen to me. " he started as he reached his hand out to her. She obviously slapped it away from him. " No! I'm done listening to you! I'm done listening to you and all of your hurtful falsehood! " her black eyes flared.

" that's not it! Why would I would I lie to you? To the person I love the most? "

Jesse tried. Petra frowned, just for a second. It didn't take long for the anger to regain control again. " I-I! Ugh! Stop lying to me! " she backed away and covered her ears. But Jesse only approached her and never gave him. He knew he had to fix his mistakes from the past even if it meant his emotions getting shattered in the process.

" I'm not lying. Please believe me. Petra, you're my friend, I would never hurt you. " he tried to reason with her. She just kept covering her ears. Glaring at him, ever second. " You're not my friend! Stay away from me! " she begged.

Jesse took a deep breath and was finally close enough to hug her. That's what he did, he wrapped his arms around her and smiled softly.

" Petra, I....love you. "

Petra pulled away hearing those words. Her eyes widened and she was completely shaking. Her ears lowered and more tension was inside of her.

What has this idiot just done? Didn't he realized what he just done? Could it be more of his unwanted white lies? No...this time, it sounded really genuine.

She looked at him while biting her lip. "Come here. "She said pulling one of his suspenders which caused him to reunite his lips with hers. Just for a brief second since the female wolf exited the kiss immediately.

Jesse was now stunned. Just a few minutes ago, they were bickering now Aube they suddenly make up? He was rather confused but that kiss...he didn't regret it at all. He gave a sweet smile to the girl. Petra saw it and smiled back, her cheeks starting to become red. " I'm sorry Petra for not spending enough time with you. " he apologized truthfully. She nodded. " Apology accepted. " she said shortly. The boy was finally happy. The weight of guilt pulling him down was over. He was now in peace.

As they started to walk more deeper into the cave, the alpha turned to his friend. " Why did you forgive me? I thought that you were furious at me. " Jesse explained his question to the girl. She fixed her bandana and looked up at the ceiling. Minerals and possible diamond waiting for them.

" If you care about your friend very much, there's no such thing as fury "

A/N this was requested a long time ago by my cousin Nova who's been a big fan of my Werewolf AU so far. She read chapter 2 and suggested this type of scenario and I was like: why not? I ship Jetra and it's cute so bam! oneshot made!  

By the way, requests are closed and the oneshots will be hold off until after next week It's because next week ( I'm writing this on Sunday. Tomorrow is Monday ) is exams week. It's gonna be my finals and it's gonna determine if I pass my year or not so I need to be serious. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed and have a good night!
