He flunged her into the air. She yelled as his grip got tighter. It felt like she was ready to let go, but at the same time, there was a voice telling her to keep holding on to him.
" Let go...and you die.". She looked at him with a worried expression on her face.
He just looked angrier by the second she stared into his glitching eyes.

" GIVE ME BACK THAT GAUNTLET! " He yelled, pulling the golden item off her hand.
But Jesse fought back, she nudged her hand away and kept it in the air so Romeo wouldn't try anything. " NO! I WONT LET YOU TAKE THE ONLY THING TO STOP YOU AWAY FROM ME! " she retorted. They flew sloppily, almost crashing into platforms and walls inside the terminal.

Romeo grew impatient and with all his force pushed himself and Jesse towards the direction where Petra and Jack were. It was not a very smart choice for the Admin since Jack, without hesitating, jumped on the two. Causing both to fall on the platform.

Jesse looked at the ground as she was falling. The air blowing in her face. The ground was getting closer and she knew she had to prepare her landing immediately. Petra was standing at the edge waiting for Jesse's landing. The leader of the order of the stone opened her arms and noticed that she was moving away slightly from the platform.

" Ahh! " her jaw dropped as she dropped past the edge. But luckily, a pair of hands gripped hers. She looked up and saw the ginger head, on her knees using all her strength to pull her up. " Petra! " she said out relieved and happy at the same time.

Petra smiled back. " Hang on...I got you " she closed her eyes and kept pulling.
Jesse tried her best to get up too, to help Petra. She kicked her legs on the side of the blocks and tried to lift herself up from there. But suddenly, they heard a yell. The two girls turned their head back to see Jack pulling on Romeo's leg to try to restraint him for charging towards Jesse.

" I Can't Hold Him For Much Longer! " Jack warned, Romeo's leg slipping out of his palms. Petra gave a worried expression and tried to pull faster and harder. Jesse's hands began trembling. What if she didn't get up in time? What would happen next?

At that exact moment, Romeo broke free from Jack's restraints and lunged himself towards the girls. Due to force, Jack stumbled back and landed far away from his two friends. That's when Petra succeeded and Jesse pressed her hands on the edge of the Quartz blocks and struggled to lift herself up. " WHEN U SAID I WAS GONNA GET THAT GAUNTLET BACK, I REALLY MEANT IT! " Romeo opened his arms and slapped Jesse's hands off the edge.

" A-Administrate T-This.." With all her strength, she punched the admin straight in the face. It Was all over now, the admin was defeated. But unfortunately, right now, her life was at risk. She panted and looked down, the void meeting her eyes. Will her true resting place be in a space zone with no ending? Like a bottomless pit? She saw the yellow particle surrounding Romeo, it worked he's powers were slowly leaving him. He continued glitching for a few seconds before falling down with her. " Woah! " he flapped his arms around, hoping he could get control. But the reality soon hit him when he looked at his hands. The sleeves of his gray t-shirt, his eyes widened.

" I-I'm-?! " he screamed in shock. All that Jesse could do was look at him, it was all over now. Romeo looked at his surroundings carefully and once he realized what was happening right now, he burst into tears. Jesse looked up and saw Jack and Petra calling out to them.

" JESSE! "

But from where the girl was, it was echoes. Bouncing at every wall it hit, she could hear them. Trying to call to her. But now, it was impossible for her, for them to be saved. They're just gonna suffer while they live up to a painful and long death. Who knows if there's a bottom to this pit?

" This is all your fault " Jesse crossed her arms looking at the former admin with so much hate. Romeo couldn't help but flinch and his even more tears spilled down his numb cheeks. They didn't talk. All that could be heard was Romeo's sobs. But Jesss did my care at this moment. He deserved it. All of it.

" I-I'm sorry..." He said out to her as he tried to move closer but Jesse pushed him away. " As much as you ruined my town and destroyed my reputation with others, I'm not the #1 person you should be apologizing to. " The girl made it clear to him. Romeo gave a confused look before wiping a tear away. " W-Who? " he muttered but it was loud enough for Jesse to hear.

" Your old friend, Xara? Doesn't ring a bell? " she told him, but she said it in a harsh way. Romeo's eyes widened and his hands curled up into a fist. " Xara..." He looked down while whispering. Jesse noticed. " Yes, she wanted to beat the living daylight out of you. But now, I guess there's no point for that. You're dying anyways. "

" But that means you're dying too" He changed the topic. Despite all the air pushing from her back, Jesse managed to switch into a sitting position and uncrossed her arms. " Hm, that's true. You know Romeo- actually first, I'm sorry for how I acted earlier. I'm just not satisfied that I have to give up my life so soon. " she frowned.
But Romeo shook his head. " What? You have nothing to be sorry about, I was the Slimeball that did everything. " he cried even more.

This time, Jesse made her way to him and wiped his tears. " Don't push yourself too hard. " she whispered nicely. Romeo looked at her and then looked up to see just a pitch black. No one's made it this deep in the void before. Well Romeo had a few accidents down here sometimes, where he would accidentally trip and fall off the build. But he could always fly back up and problem solved.

Right now, they weren't capable to do so. He was powerless and she was hopeless.
They. Were. Gonna. Die. Eventually. " I deserve to get told mean things. I'm a horrible person Jesse. Why are you even talking to me? " he raged. Jesse just covered his mouth and pulled him into a hug. " You are not mean, you were just a little lost? But what's important is that I forgive you. " she smiled and pulled away.

The red ahead blushed. He may or may not had a little thing for this brave warrior.
He scratched the back of his head and chuckled. " Really? ". The girl nodded.
" yes, I really mean it. ". " Thank you so much. "

Silence passed. They fell deeper into the void. Holding back their tears, they waited until it was time, life took them. Romeo thought silently. He wanted to admit that he had feelings for the hero. He wanted her to know that he fell in love with her before he ran out of time. He  took a deep breath and exhaled.  Jesse turned her head to look at him. " Anything wrong Romeo? " she asked.

He trembled a bit before sighing. " Jesse, I may or may have not been honest with you lately. It's just I was scared to admit it. " he blushed whilst looking down. But Her hand pushed his chin back up. His black dark eyes met her stunning Emerald eyes. He blushed even more. " You can tell me anything Romeo, we're friends now. "
She smiled which reassured him even more.

He took another deep breath before confessing to her. " J-Jesse...i-I..." We could even compare him to a tomato at this point. The girl waited. " Yes? Don't feel nervous around me, as soon as you tell me, I'll be off your chest " she giggled a bit. Which made him blush even more. He doesn't even know how he started liking her.
She was everything he ever wanted. She's beautiful, kind and brave. A courageous gorgeous hero fighting for justice.

" Jesse, i-I...I love you! " he stammed but all words came out and her face turned red.
He looked at her embarrassed but she just gave a happy smile. He was confused at first but he soon figured out why when she wrapped her arms around him and softly kissed his lips. His eyes widened even more and the hot blush Spreaded even more across his face. He stared into the distance before Kissing back and closing his eyes.

When they pulled away, Romeo chuckled and scratched his head. She laughed.
" I Love you too Romeo. "

They fell even deeper into the void

life still not taking them

Their mortal bodies calmly waiting

But  As long as they had eachother

They felt immortal
