Jesse slammed the hammer down on the desk. The case was starting to begin.

The girl's  jaw dropped as she found out that her brother was judging the case today. Binta stood up, She was dressed in a quite formal shirt dress. She still wore the bronze headband in her head as she tried not to sob again. She held the compas Fred gave her tightly. She was gonna bring this case home.

" Hello everyone, I am Binta, current leader of Fred's keep. I am the plaintiff's attorney and I will be proving you that Romeo is indeed guilty. " she said dryly.

Romeo, from his spot, looked down to his hands. Today was the day that he was gonna be judged. So far, he knows that there's no chance for him to win this case at all. Binta is an expert witness and lawyer.

" On November 6th, The Admin Fred has been executed during an argument all the admins had. Our victim has been found stabbed in the back with a diamond sword belonging to none other than mr. Romeo himself. "Binta presented the case while glaring the ex-admin. Jesse nodded, understanding the case.

" May I have the plaintiff speak? " he asked quietly. Xara heard that and stood up. She cleared her throat before talking.

" i present myself, I am Xara. A former admin and close friend of Romeo and Fred. I come here to complain that Romeo is certainly responsible.Why? You may ask? Oh, let me show you " she paused to grab a briefcase sitting by her chair. Jesse and some members  of the Beacontown jury were quite intrigued to see what was Inside.

Xara put on some white gloves before opening the briefcase. Inside, was a diamond sword stained in dry blood. Fred's blood. Romeo gulped as he saw it.

The memories coming back. They were unbearable. Xara gave a victorious smirk towards the accused. " What do you have to say for yourself, Old friend?"

she whispered to him in a cold voice. " I-I...." Romeo lacked for words.

Jesse leaned closer from his chair, noticing he wasn't able to speak. Proves he was clearly damned. " You have nothing to say mr. Romeo? " he asked, waiting impatiently for his response. Jess clenched  her hand into a fist. "just let him think." She retorted. Her brother was stunned by her behaviour. A member of the jury shouldn't be siding with any side. Plaintiff or accused.

Romeo shook his head, giving up. Xara smiled coldly. " That's what i thought."

She returned to her seat. He was losing this case badly and that made Jess enraged. Why couldn't they give him a second chance? It wasn't him that killed Fred. Something evil took over. Possessed him!

" I now ask for the defence " The judge demanded. No one was there. Not even Stella who was the admin's assistant. Romeo looked down. " I don't need one Justice Jesse. " he stated. Jess out her hands over her mouth. This was totally unfair. The boy was about to slam his hammer back down on his desk to close the case until he heard a chair was kicked back.

Jess stood up, fire burning in her eyes. " he is not going to be executed or going to jail. I won't allow it. " she growled. Jesse facepalmed and turned to his sister.

" Ahem, Jess, this isn't the behaviour required of a jury member. " he cleared out. Jess shook her head and threw her black robes on the ground. She walked to Romeo and put her arms around him. " If he has to leave, then I will too"

she said protectively.

Romeo's eyes glittered. No one has ever defended him that much in his life. Plus, he did destroy the twin's town. Why would she be defending him?!

Jesse sighed frustrated. " Jess, step away from the murderer now" he ordered.

The girl shook her head and raged. " He's not a murderer! ". Romeo looked at her with a deceiving look. " Jess...he's right. I'm a monster. " he said lowly.

" You are not a monster, you deserve another chance. " She said smiling.

Jesse got really angry. " Jess if you don't come here, you will be kicked out of Beacontown. " he threatened. The ex-admin Looked At Jess. "You should go back. I don't want you to be kicked out of your own town because of me. "

" Well I don't care about that right now. " she said simply. A smile formed on his lips. Jesse stood up and slammed the hammer down on the desk. " That's It, guards, take them both away! " he demanded. This was the last time they ever saw Jesse and the folk of Beacontown. Xara and Binta gave disappointed looks. She honestly didn't care.

The guards of ChampionCity grabbed both Jess and Romeo by their wrists and pulled them out the order hall. " Ha! So that's how you're gonna treat your sister? You're the worst Jesse! I hate you! You cold blooded jerk! " she cursed at him. Jesse shook his head, narrowing his eyebrows. Romeo looked at Jess.

" But Xara and Jesse hate you now..." he pointed out.

" They don't matter, as long as you're here with me. "

A/N sorry if this is kinda short. This Oneshot's Random word was: ' justify ' and the first thing that came up in my head was: ' how the flipping feather am I supposed to write that? ' Then, I had an English presentation all about court! It's a mock trial of the book: And then there were none ( created by Agatha Christie )
