A/N sorry this took so long. I'm currently dealing with....problems in my life at the moment. It just caused me to act more scared, determined but most importantly, negative about how I see life. Gabriel's POV

So it was summertime. The worst time in the year in my opinion. I'm a man that prefers fall personally. I dunno why. The weather is just right. There's breeze and heat at the same time. But the best thing about it was vacations! The order decided to all split up for the summer. Soren went by the end, to do his research on endermen, Magnus visited BoomTown, Ellegaard was by Redstonia and finally Ivor was probably adventuring. He did say he wanted find materials to do some experiments on them.

Now me? I didn't really have anything to do aside from spending time with my friend. I met her while I was by the high seas. The order ventured out by a sea temple and we encountered this...well definitely wasn't human! Haha, that's for sure. Her name was Shagrada. Honestly, she may be a sea creature. But she do have the looks, I give her that. She usually resides by the waters though she is capable of breathing on land.

Why do I consider as a friend? Well she helped take down the guardians when we were by the sea temple. Do not estimate her size. She may be a large and quite revealing creature but she's extremely stealthy. She tracked an elder guardian from behind while Magnus and Ellegaard were grabbing sea lanterns for everyone. Second, I remember this time where Ivor was about to punch me due to my stupidity. Yeah...well I kinda lead the team towards a flock of guardians. Shagrada, she actually defended me! She didn't let Ivor lay one finger on me. It absolutely stunned me. Soren concluded that she's overprotective. Hm...I dont actually know...

And now I'm here. In front of a summer inn. More specifically, it's theme was a sea base. It means that most of the room was somewhat underwater. I thought that this place was perfect for Shagrada. That's why I invited her to hang out for the summer by this hotel. Hopefully she'll like it, I mean. If she doesn't, I'd be really disappointed. I have doubts that I could have chosen another palace honestly. Well only time with find out.

"Well? This is a summer inn right? Not some sort of criminal base right? Because I honestly don't mind going full ninja mode. I won't let anyone hurt you one bit. " Shagrada said impatiently. I twisted the key around the keyhole. It made a sharp turn to the left. " No Shagrada. I assure you. This is not a criminal base. " I chuckled slightly, turning the key a little more. The sea creature crossed her arms, still waiting for the door to be opened. "If you say so then. " she huffed.

I finally got the door open and turned the handle. The door revealed what I wanted to keep a surprise for three weeks now. A medium sized room, with two beds, closets and underwater related backgrounds and floorings. But what really caught Shagrada's attention was the giant aquarium in front of us. If we ever open an eye while sleeping, we'll be faced with a potential fish watching us. The clear blue waters lit the room up a bit. It gave it the sort of sub aquatic feeling.

"Oh my Notch..." Shagrada muttered. Her head looked around. Interested at everything she saw so far. She definitely got the theme I was going for.

I sighed. " Like it? It was the only inn I found with these particularities and opened in the summer. " I started. She stepped inside of the room, still amazed at what she was seeing. " This is....this room..." she whispered slowly, piecing the words to describe this place carefully. I waited patiently for her answer, whilst sitting on the comfy blue bed available.

" I-I....this place is amazing! " Shagrada complimented. She walked to the aquarium and put her hands on the glass gently, making sure not to put fingerprints on it. She observed as the fishes swim around peacefully. Despite being trapped, they seem to really like their new habitat. I looked at the happy individual. Kind stunned. I thought this would be a low class joke in her eyes.

" Y-You really like it? " I felt happiness climb up inside of me. She nodded with wide eyes. Not one sod shock but of righteousness.

" Like It? No, love it? Now that's more like it! " she ran towards me to hug me.

I felt a bit squished in the hug I admit, but all in all, i was relieved that she likes this gift. " Y'know, there's a reason why I always liked you from the others..." she started calmly. I was out back on the ground, I lifted an eyebrow. " Hm? If you do not mind me asking, why is that? " I asked politely. The individual sighed and sat down on the turquoise bed. " You're different....you're much kinder than the others and every gift you offer me is special...it was always affects this place...." she paused to put her fin on her chest, specifically to where her heart was located. She released a happy smile. " I honestly can't thank you enough Gabriel. I'm happy to have a friend like you...." she finished.

That made me really happy. I'm glad that I managed to make my friend happy, Ofcourse she's always been happy but this is honestly one of her joyful moments in her life to live. " I truly appreciate that Shagrada and I must say the same for you. " I nodded. The sea creature smiled one more time before looking at the tank. " So how long are we staying here again? "
