Chapter One~

The Black Foxes were in their van, quickly reviewing their plans before starting their mission... The painting they were seeking was going to be sold in an auction that was currently running at that very moment. They had some time before it would fall into the wrong hands...

Riki: "Alright, Takuto will obviously remain here controlling the electricity and security. Ken and I will go look for the painting in the basement. Right, Takuto?" The leader asked, earning a firm nod from the hacker as he was typing on his computer.

Takuto: "From the programs' list, we have about 10 minutes before it will be put on display."

Riki: "That should give us enough time to get it. Hiro, if Kenny and I can't find it in time because it happened to be already on stage, you'll have to pretend to buy it... In your disguise of course.. This mission will be a little harder than the usual due to a heavier type of security... Will you be able to do it?"

Even though the boys have went over the plan for this mission a numerous amount of times, a worried expression still made its way onto the face of the master of disguise.

Hiro: "...Yeah..."

The sniper noticed this and ruffled Hiro's hair in assurance.

Kenshi: "Have more confidence, Hiro."

Hiro: "Hey! Kenny! You're messing up my hair!"

Kenshi: "You'll be fine. Just like in other missions."

Riki: "Kenshi is right. You'll be fine."

Hiro: "R-right! Thanks Kenny! ... Sorry Rikkun.."

Riki: "That's okay. Takuto has your back if something happens but I know you can do it." He said with a smile before his face hardened. "Is everyone ready?"

Everyone nodded confidently at their leader.

Riki: "Alright then! It's Showtime!"

Takuto: "The lights will go out in exactly 10 seconds... They'll come back on in 5 minutes."

Riki: "Got it.. Ready, Kenshi?"

Kenshi: "Yeah!"

Riki: "Hiro, how about you?"

Takuto: "6..."

Hiro: "Ready!~"

Takuto: "...3...2...1!"

PZZZZZTTTT

Takuto: "Security down in another 10 seconds."

Riki: "Alright! Everyone, let's go!"

Riki and Kenshi quickly made their way through the back, knocking out the guards before they even had time to react or alert other guards.

Takuto: "...... Security cameras are now down."

Riki: "Roger that, now we just have to find the painting..."

As Takuto said, 5 Minutes Later...

PZZZZZTTTT

The lights came back on...

Riki: "Dammit! It's not here!"

Kenshi: "I don't see it either.."

Riki: ".... Takuto?"

Takuto: "...... Give me a second..... Wait! It's not there!"

Riki and Kenshi looked at each other in shock.

Kenshi: "W-where is it then?"

Hiro: "Guys! I see it! It's going on display now!"

Riki: "Seriously?!" The leader huffed in frustration. "But it wasn't supposed to be out on display until another 5 minutes! ..No matter, Hiro. You know what to do?"

Hiro: "Yeah! You and Ken should get out of there."

Riki: "We will. But we're not going back to the van yet. We'll be heading towards the auction."

Hiro: "HUH?!"

Takuto: "What?"

Riki flashed his usual smirk.

Riki: "What kind of Black Fox would we be if we were to leave another one of us on his own?"

Hiro: "... Leader."

Kenshi: "Leader's right, we're coming to help you Hiro!"

Hiro: "Kenny.."

Takuto: "... The doors on the west side will be open for you.."

Hiro: "Takkun... Thanks you guys!~"

Riki: "Alright, change of plans! We're going head first into the auction! Let's help Hiro, get the painting and go back home safely!"

All: "Hai!"

Boss: "Cheers guys! Great job as always!"

All: "CHEERS!"

Riki: "All in all, it was all thanks to Hiro. He would have gotten it with ease even if we weren't there. Great job, Hiro." Riki complimented, clapping Hiro's shoulder.

Hiro: "Hehe! Thanks!~"

Boss: "So how did you guys do it?"

Riki: "Hahh.. Well," He started as he picked up his beer. "Our plan was to originally go by the program.. To steal the painting while it was still in the basement. But I guess they changed their minds and displayed it a little earlier.. Hiro, in disguise, pretends to buy it. He then had to try to knock out the guy who he had to go purchase it from in the back room. Kenshi and I, in masks, pretty much crashed the party. Just to draw away attention from Hiro. And because, why not..." He finished with a smirk.

Kenshi: "Smoke bombs, fireworks, everything." Kenshi added with a smile as he made his way into the kitchen with the dirty dishes.

Boss: "I get the smoke bombs.. But fireworks...?! Geez guys... That's a little overboard, don't you think?"

Boss said in exasperation but was smiling softly.

Takuto: "... I thought it was funny as hell.."

Boss: "You went in with them, Takkun?"

Takuto: "No.. Watched from the cameras. But I deleted that part afterwards.. Copying it on CD beforehand of course." With a smirk, he holds up a CD.

Hiro: "You didn't.... Can I see it!?"

Takuto: "Yeah.."

Takuto tosses the CD at Hiro who catches it.

Hiro: "Awesome! I wasn't able to see that since I had to 'pay' for the painting in another room. This'll be interesting!~"

Boss shakes his head in disbelief, the smile still on his face.

Boss: "Oh boy... Well anyways, what does the painting look like?"

Riki: "I would actually like to see it as well.. It was already covered up when we got it.. Hiro?"

Hiro: "Oh right! Here." Hiro places the CD on the counter and gently uncovers the painting that was within his reach. "I actually saw only a glimpse of it.. Just to see if it was real.. A lot of people wanted this painting.. I wonder why...... !!"

Riki: "What's wrong Hiro? Don't tell me this isn't what we were even looking for...... !"

Boss: "Well damn.. It's a beautiful painting.. I can imagine why people would want it. Look at the details!"

Standing there in the center of the painting was a little girl with long chestnut colored hair with hazel eyes. Surrounding her, were tall healthy looking green trees. The sunlight was peeking through the gaps between the ruffling leaves, giving the girl a soft glow from above. You could tell there was some slight wind by the flow of her hair and by how the colorful flowers were swaying along with the tall green grass. And in the background, you can faintly see a cabin some ways away beside a crystal clear sparkling river. The girl was wearing a light blue summer dress that looked as if it was fluttering along with the wind. She was smiling. The painting looked as if it had came straight out of a photograph. Every fine line was shown, detailed to perfection. It truly was a beautiful painting..

Takuto: "Yeah, wonder how long it took to paint that.."

Riki: "Kenshi, come see this painting. It's amazing!"

Hearing his name called from outside the kitchen, Kenshi made his way out there with a towel, drying his hands.

Kenshi: "What's up?"

Hiro: "Look at this Kenny!" Hiro beams as he turned the painting towards Kenshi so he could see it. "Isn't it beautiful!~"

Kenshi: "!!!!!"

Boss: ".... Kenshi?"

Riki: "Hey, what's wrong?"

Kenshi: "Ugh.."

The other boys watched in shock as Kenshi leaned against the counter for support, holding his face with one hand.

All: "KENSHI?!"

Kenshi: "That painting... Why does she...."

Was all he said before he crashed onto the floor...

Riki: "SHIT! Hiro! Go get him some water!"

Hiro: "Right!"

Riki: "Takuto, medicine!"

Takuto: "Got it!"

Riki: "Boss! Help me get Kenshi upstairs!"

Boss: "Okay!"

That day, the Black Foxes were too much in a frenzy to hear Kenshi softly muttering to himself before completely losing consciousness...

"Why does she.... Look so familiar?"
