Eisuke's POV

Baba: "Hmm.. Was it something I said?"

I heard Baba mutter in confusion as he rubs his chin in thought. The rest of us were still in the lounge area, thinking back to what ticked Ayame off. Mamoru was still in disbelief about Ayame accepting a smoke and smoking it right in front of him whilst Ota was trying to explain about my situation to Suzuki who in turn nodded slowly as he talked.

Eisuke: "She looked ticked off right after Baba mentioned that Suzuki was Soryu's woman."

Baba: "Ah.. That's right."

Ota: "Huh..? But why?"

Mamoru: "Maybe she likes Soryu?"

Suzuki: "!!!"

Ota: "That would make sense, considering how she had reacted after hearing that."

Baba: "Uh.. Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned about that and let Sor say it instead? I hope she's not mad at me.."

Suzuki: ".... So she knows Soryu?"

Ota: "Oh right.. I didn't get to tell you who Ayame is. Not only is she Eisuke's bodyguard.. But she's also a mobster."

Suzuki: "She's from the mafia?!"

Baba: "Yeah.. Ayame is from a mafia group called the Flamed Phoenixes. The leader in fact."

Mamoru: "She's also in alliance to the Ice Dragons."

Suzuki: "So she works with Soryu.."

Baba: "..Basically.. I'm very interested in trying to know more about Yame.. Aren't you, Boss?"

Ota: "Why are you asking Eisuke that, Baba? You know he has a lot of chances to ask her. They'll be with each other 24/7."

Baba: "Hahh... That's true. Lucky Boss."

Eisuke: "Hmph."

I smirked, knowing that that'll piss Baba off more. To which it did. Haha..

(About Ayame.. She's still not back yet.. And it's actually been a few hours... Did something happen? Moreover.. Does she have feelings for Soryu and got jealous when learning that he loves another woman? A plain one at that. She's not even a mobster. I bet Ayame's in disbelief that he's dating someone like that.)

Mamoru: "The kid's still in thought."

Mamoru said, bringing me out of my train of thoughts.

Suzuki: "Huh? Me? N-no.. I wasn't thinking about anything!"

Ota: "Uh-oh.. Looks like Koro's in denial."

Suzuki: "No I'm not!"

(CLICK)

Soryu: "What are you guys talking about?"

Standing at the doorway was Soryu, who was looking at us curiously.

Suzuki: "Soryu.."

Soryu: "Wait.. Where's Yuki? Did something happen?"

All: "?!"

Baba: "Um..."

Soryu: "Hm? Baba, if something had happened to her..."

Baba: "Uh... Not exactly but..."

Ayame: "Oh Soryu, you're back."

Behind him, stood Ayame. Soryu spun around and looked Ayame up and down, a relieved look now on his face.

Soryu: "Yuki, what happened?"

Ayame: "Hmm? I went to check around the hotel. Why?"

Soryu: "But Eisuke's..."

Ayame: "I know. But seeing as he's with the others, I decided to quickly check around the hotel for most of the close escape routes and stuff like that."

(She was doing that this whole time after she stormed out of here? Checking for close escape routes? Is that really it?)

Soryu: "I see.. Did you memorize everything?"

Ayame: "Pretty much every nook and cranny. Should something happen to where Mr. Ichinomiya needs to be evacuated quickly, I know some of the places where he can go. I'll see if there's any more another day."

Soryu: "Hm. Good job."

He pats her head gently which leaves us in shock.

Ayame: "This is my job you know.. You don't have to pet my head like that."

She flushes red, slapping his hand away.

Soryu: "Why not? I'm your... Oww.."

Ayame grips onto Soryu's arm tightly, causing Soryu to slightly wince.

Ayame: "I need to talk to you. Privately."

Soryu: "R-right.. I see."

Soryu glances at Suzuki quickly before turning his attention towards me.

Soryu: "We'll be right back. Eisuke, please stay here with the others until we return."

I nodded and Soryu and Ayame left.

Suzuki: "......."

Ota: "Wow.. Looks like Soryu's getting dragged around on an invisible leash.."

Mamoru: "And his owner is Ayame.. Haha."

Ota: "Still, I wonder what their relationship is.. Soryu's and Ayame's.."

Baba: ".. They seem to be more closer than the typical alliance groups.."

Suzuki: "... I think I'm going to bed.. I'm tired.."

Ota: "Already Koro? But I was just gonna fetch a ball for you."

Suzuki: "N-no... That's fine Ota.. Thanks anyways?"

Baba: "Haha, Ota likes to fool around huh.. Goodnight Suzuki."

Suzuki: "Night..."

Suzuki leaves the room, closing the door with a small click.

(CLICK)

Baba: "... What do you think, Boss?"

Eisuke: "Huh? About what?"

Ota: "You'd have admit, Boss... Their relationship seems kind of strange don't you think? They seem close, but aren't that close to the point of dating.. Or are they..?"

Eisuke: "Hmph, it's not any of my business."

Baba: "But you seem like you wanna know, am I right?"

Eisuke: "..."

Mamoru: "He's interested to know?"

Eisuke: ".... Not really.."

Baba: "Haha, now Boss is in denial."

Eisuke: "Ugh.. Shut up. You're annoying."

I stood up and was about to make my way upstairs when I'd remembered what Soryu told me.

(I have to wait for them to return first...)

With a sigh, I plopped back down on the chair, listening to the idiots as they chatted away...

Eisuke: "You can sleep here."

I said to Ayame as we were upstairs in my room.

Ayame: "On the bed?"

Eisuke: "Where else?"

I asked as I made my way into the bathroom to quickly change my clothes, seeing as I can't do that in my room with a woman there..

Ayame: "Thanks but.. I'm a bodyguard remember? I'm supposed to watch you."

Eisuke: "... Seriously? Who's gonna attack me in my sleep?"

I asked in disbelief as I came back, sitting elegantly on my bed.

Ayame: "You can never be so sure. So you should take the bed."

Ayame walks over towards the window and sat by it.

Eisuke: "What the hell are you doing?"

Ayame: "Guarding you."

Eisuke: "Okay.. But why are you sitting there?"

Ayame: "If someone were to come through the door, I can immediately shoot them. If from the window, I can chop their foot off should they try to sneak in. They wouldn't notice me until they've finished throwing a fit that their foot is gone. And if they're shot then..."

Ayame shrugs.

Eisuke: "..."

(Geez.. That sounds gruesome.. I might get nightmares. Just kidding.)

Ayame: "Anyway.. You should go to sleep, Mr. Ichinomiya."

Eisuke: "I thought you're supposed to call me by my first name?"

Ayame: "Sorry... Habit to call people by their last name."

Eisuke: "Hmm... You call Soryu by his first name.."

Ayame shrugged again.

Ayame: "I guess I'm used to calling him by his first name. I can't imagine myself calling him by his last name."

Eisuke: "I see.. There a reason for that?"

Ayame: "Hmm.. It's a complicated story. But let's not talk about me. You should retire for the night."

Eisuke: "Fine.." I huffed and turned away, facing away from Ayame.

I closed my eyes tiredly and heard Ayame softly mumbling to herself...

Ayame: "You shouldn't get involved with me, Eisuke. I'm not someone you should get too close with.."

... And I lost conscious.
