Seven | Suspicions

Ava knew that she had to confront the group of four, but she didn't know how to do it without risking her secret. She stayed up all night trying to come up with a good plan and managed to sleep for two hours. She groaned before getting ready for the day, and she finally came to the decision of not confronting the group. She can't risk more poeple knowing who she really is. After making a cup of coffee, Ava stared at the glasses that Tony gave her. She usually wears black shades to hide her eyes, but she decided on grabbing the ones that were a gift. Besides, she never knows when she might need E.D.I.T.H.

Ava had just entered the school building when Jane approached her.

"Ava! Can you come with me to take this to my mom? She has a class with the new kids and - "

"It's fine, Jane. Sure, I'll go."

Jane nodded and gave Ava a thankful smile and the two were on their way to Remedial Goodness 101. The heard Fairy Godmother call on Mal and Mal looked up. "C. Give it a bottle." Fairy Godmother smiled and she told Mal that she was correct again. Ava rose her eyebrows at this. Carlos then turned to Mal and he smirked.

"You are on fire, girl."

"Just pick the one that doesn't sound like any fun." Ava chuckled when the other three nodded their heads, finally understanding how Mal was getting every single question right. Jane then walked in and she squeaked when she walked by the kids. Ava only smirked and waved at them as she sat in the table in front of the boys. Upon seeing them, Fairy Godmother smiled.

"Hello, dear ones."

Ava saluted her and Jane prayed that her mother didn't mention her. "You need to sign off for the early dismissal for coronation," Jane told her mother and fearfully looked back at the villain kids, thinking that if she turned away for a split second, they would attack her. Fairy Godmother didn't notice how fearful her daughter was and she smiled.

"You all remember Ava, and my daughter Jane."

"Mom, no!"

"Jane, this is everyone."

Jane gave Ava a look, but Ava didn't know how to help. "That's okay. Don't mind me. As you were." Jane quickly rushed off and squeaked once again when she passed by the group. Ava chuckled and decided to stay for a few minutes. "Let's continue," said Fairy Godmother. "You find a vile of poison. Do you A) pour it in the King's wine? B) paint it on an apple? Or C) turn it over to the proper authorities?"

Jay, Carlos, and Evie all shot their hands up, making Ava chuckle. Jay then grabbed Carlos' hand and put it down, making Carlos struggle in his grasp. With Carlos' hand no longer in the air, Fairy Godmother called on Jay.

"C) you turn it over to the proper authorities," Jay answered with a smirk.

"I was going to say that," pouted Carlos.

"Oh, but I said it first." Jay suddenly grabbed Carlos and put him in a headlock before rubbing his knuckles on his head. "C'mon! Who said it first? Huh?" Ava held back a laugh as she saw them messing around, but then noticed that Mal didn't care and Evie was checking her makeup. Fairy Godmother tried to grab their attention and make them stop fighting, but the wouldn't listen.

Sighing, Ava made her way over and punched Jay's shoulder.

The boy let Carlos go and he rubbed his shoulder while Ava smirked at him.

"Thank you, Ava, but next time, how about without the violence?" Ava nodded and Fairy Godmother turned to the boys who were still on the table. "Boys, I am going to encourage you to use that energy on the tourney field."

"Oh, no, that's okay," said Carlos. "Whatever that is, we'll pass." Ava then turned to the two and smirked.

"I'm on the cheerleading team." She winked at them and waved at the girls before grabbing her bag and leaving the room. Ava smirked when she heard the boys agreeing with whatever tourney was and she laughed a little. Noting that class ends in 10 minutes, Ava began to make her way over to her next class of the day, taking her time.

Ava changed into the cheerleading outfit that they all wore for practice and she made her way outside. Most of the girls were still changing, so Ava decided to start stretching. She's always been flexible, but ever since she got bit by that spider, she became even more flexible. That, and she has the grace of a ballerina from practicing ballet since she was very young. By now, the rest of the team had arrived and so did the tourney team. When Ava caught sight of Jay and Carlos, she couldn't help but chuckle, seeing that they're trying out for the team. Ava waved at them, along with Ben, before turning her attention to Audrey, who was the team captain.

"Okay, ladies, warm up!"

They all began to do their regular warm ups and that's when the practice for the tourney team started. The girls all kept cheering but Audrey and Ava. As much as the two don't like each other, Audrey let Ava on the team because she's really good. Ava looked over at the boys and she smiled when Jay began playing. He was a natural.

"Go, Jay!"

Jay shoved Chad down and Ava burst out laughing. Audrey turned to Ava and scoffed. "You think that's funny?" "Oh, I think it's hilarious. That's what Chad gets for flirting with me nonstop after I told him to get lost." Audrey rolled her eyes and they focused on the game again. Jay yelled as he went after the ball.

When Jay got to the killzone, the shooter began to shoot at Jay, but the son of Jafar quickly avoided the first one. Ava watched in awe as Jay did flips and ducked evey time and he finally made it out of the killzone. When Jay got to Carlos, Carlos panicked and threw his stick at Jay before hiding under his shield.

Ben went to get the ball and score, but Jay tackled him and took the shot, scoring. He then went after the goalie, but the goalie ran off, terrified of Jay. Ava tried to process what just happened, but she still cheered for Jay nonetheless.

After practice was over, Ava changed back into her clothes and headed to the girls' bathroom. She locked herself in a stall, needing a moment of peace and quiet. When she was about to leave, she heard someone walk in. She was about to go out when the door opened again and someone else walked in.

"Hi. It's Jane, right?" Mal asked.

Mal was talking to Ben when Jane passed them and she decided to follow her, coming up with a plan.

"I've always loved that name. Jane."

"That's cool."

Jane made to leave, but Mal stopped her.

"Don't go! I guess I was just kind of hoping to make a friend," Mal told her and Ava thought that she was being sincere. "You probably have all the friends you need though, huh?" Mal asked.

"Hardly," Jane admitted.

"Really? I mean, with your mom being Fairy Godmother and headmistress?" Ava suddenly remembered the night she caught them all running away from the museum, how Mal mentioned a wand three times when they first arrived, and now Mal is taking sudden intrest in Fairy Godmother.

Ava knew that they were up to something, but she didn't know what. She thought that their parents most likely gave them a mission to do and Ava let out a small sigh. She continued to listen to their conversation and her eyes widened when Mal began to use magic.

"Beware, forswear, replace the old with brand new hair."

It was silent for a moment until she heard Jane gasp in delight. Jane asked Mal to do her nose, but Mal denied, saying that she can't do big magic yet. She then mentioned Fairy Godmother's wand yet again and it all clicked for Ava. After Jane left, Ava walked out of the stall and Mal stiffened.

"Mal, whatever you guys are up to. . . You're not your mom, Mal. You can make your own choices. I just hope you all do what's right in the end." Ava gave Mal one last smile before leaving and she headed home.

Note: So I noticed that MJ won't be as mentioned much until Descendants 2. Sorry
