The next day, Ava decided that she wanted to talk to Mal. After getting ready, she quickly ate breakfast and grabbed a bag and filled it with some snacks in case she stays longer than planned. She made her way out of her house and over to Mal and Evie's dorm and she knocked on the door. It was then swung open by Mal, and Ava sighed. "Uh, I just wanted to know if we're cool? You know, from the bathroom incident?" Mal had told Evie about Ava, and the two girls shared a look before they turned back to Ava. Mal studied her for a few more seconds before smiling. "Yeah, we're cool." Ava let out a breath she didn't know she's been holding and chucked.
"Um, I was wondering we can try to get to know each other. May I come in?" Mal nodded and the girls let her into their room. Ava looked around and nodded. "I like what you've done to the place. Whenever I'd visit Jane or Lonnie, I hated the rooms because they're too pink and girly." Mal rose an eyebrow at this and she smirked.
"I think I'm finally starting to like you."
Ava laughed and she sat on Evie's bed while Mal layed on her bed, and Evie continued to make a dress. "I have to say, A, your style is killer," said Evie. Ava looked down at her outfit and she smiled. "Thank you."
"Your style actually gives me whiplash." Ava laughed and Mal agreed with Evie. "But you do have some good style. A bit questionable, but girl, you make it work." Ava barked out a laugh and the other girls joined her. Once everything died down, there was a knock on the door and it opened to reveal Jane.
"Mal, my mom won't agree."
Mal rose an eyebrow and she frowned.
"Do you know, Ava?"
Before Ava could say anything, Mal spoke for her. "Yeah, I just told her how excited I was for this." Jane nodded and she leaned against Evie's bed. "Mom said that if a boy can't see the beauty, then he isn't worth it. What kind of world does she live in?"
"Auradon," said Mal and Ava smirked.
"Mal, Ava, what do you think?" Evie asked as she held up the dress she was almost finished with. "Ooh, it's cute," Ava gushed. "I like it," agreed Mal, "it brings out your eyes." "I know." Ava chuckled at Evie's reply and she reached into her bag and pulled out a bag of chips. "Now I'll never get a boyfriend," Jane finished with a pout.
"Boyfriends are overrated anyway," Mal spoke up and reached over to steal a chip from Ava.
"And how you, Mal? You've never had a boyfriend," Evie shot at Mal. Ava rose an eyebrow and she turned to Mal. "Because I don't need one, E. They're a waste of time."
Evie smirked, but then gasped. "Oh, no! I forgot to do Chad's homework." "That's exactly what I mean." Mal then smirked and turned to Ava. "So, we went to go visit the boys earlier, and Carlos wasn't there." Ava shifted in her seat, but her face stayed blank. "We asked Jay, and he said that he left last night, and he didn't come back. Then a few minutes later, Carlos comes in with a smile on his face. Know anything about that?" Ava smirked at Mal. "I have no idea what you're talking about, nor what you're implying." Mal narrowed her eyes and Ava smirked before bidding the girls goodbye and walked out.

Ava had changed into black jeans and a black tank top before heading down to the lab with a sandwich in her hand. She quickly ate it before she began to start working on her motorcycle, the same motorcycle that Steve gave her. She was taking a few things off when a voice ran through the air.
"Boss, Ben is at the front."
"Let him in. Tell him I'm in the lab."
"Will do."
Ava continued to work on her motorcycle as Ben ran down the stairs instead of using the elevator. "Hey, Ava."
"Hey, Ben. What's up?"
"Can you come with me to go visit Mal and the others?"
"Oh, well, I'm wor - " but Ava didn't get to finish as Ben grabbed hold of her wrist and instantly began to drag her up the stairs. "Wait, Ben! Ben, wait! Ben. Ben!" Ben did not listen to her pleas as he continued to drag her out of the house. She didn't want to use her super strength and hurt Ben, so she called out to O.R.I.O.N. and told him to lock the house since she couldn't.
"Jesus, Ben, why are you in such a hurry?" Ava asked as soon as they got to a regular walking pace.
"They might have some questions or need something," Ben told her.
"You mean Mal might have some questions or she might need something." Ben said nothing and Ava smirked as her thoughts were confirmed. They soon made it to Mal's dorm and Ben knocked on it. After a couple of seconds, Mal opened it.
"Why do you have a wrench?"
Ava looked down at the tool in her hand and she chuckled. "Ben wanted me to come, and he dragged me out of my house before I could even do anything about it. I was woking on my motorcycle and I guess I forgot to put this down," Ava told her and ended it with a chuckle. Mal chuckled as well and Ben felt himself blush.
"Hey, Mal. I didn't see you guys today," said Ben before he became even more embarrassed. "I was just wondering if you guys have any questions or anything." Mal looked at the two in front of her before turning back to her friends. They all shook their heads, leaving Mal to say, "Not that I know of." Ben nodded and he began to back up, pulling on Ava's arm. Ava and Carlos caught eyes and the two smiled at one another as Ava felt herself lightly blush. "Oh, okay. Well, if you need anything, just - " Ben said as he made to walk away, but Mal cut him off, causing Ava to break the staring contest she found herself having with Carlos.
"Oh, wait! Is it true that we get to go to your coronation?"
"Yeah, the whole Kingdom is going," Ben told her with a smile. Mal nodded and thought of her next words carefully.
"Do you think it's possible that the four of us could sit up front so we can," Mal breathed in, "soak up all that goodness?" Mal asked with hope in her eyes. By now, Ben had let go of Ava's hand and the two stood directly in front of the door again.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I wish you could, but up front is me, my folks, my girlfriend, and Ava." Mal gave Ava a questioning look and Ava shrugged, barely hearing the information just now. Mal shook her head and turned to Ben. "And your girlfriend?" "Yeah. And of course, Ava can um, bring a date. Or she can also invite her brother. I'm sorry - "
"Okay, thanks, bye!"
"Oh, but there's plenty of roo - "
Ben was cut off by the door closing on his face, making him sigh. He turned back to Ava, and Ava rose an eyebrow at him. "Since when was I going to be sitting up front?" Ava asked with a smirk and the two began to walk back to Ava's house.
"Uh, mom and dad thought that it would be nice. They like you a lot, and I guess I forgot to tell you yesterday." Ava nodded and they continued walking in a comfortable silence, until Ava began thinking. She knows that Ben has feeling for Mal, so she decided to speak.
"Hey Ben? I know you have feelings for Mal. . . So why don't you ask her out?"
"I still have Audrey. I just can't break up with her."
Ava stopped walking and took hold of Ben's hands. "Yes you can, Ben. You told me how Audrey was amazing and helped made your life easier, but lately, I haven't seen that. I only see her care about coronation. Find a girl who will love and support you no matter what. Find a girl that isn't afraid to be herself." Ava gave him one last hug and walked away, leaving Ben to his thoughts.
