*The Friday after Wrestlemania. Smackdown*

John and Cena arrive at the arena for the first Smackdown after Wrestlemania and they are both super nervous, John obviously because he is finally on the big stage and Cena because he is happy for his son to finally be here.

(A.N.: I'm going to be calling my OC John and I'll be calling his father Cena. That way it's not as confusing, i think anyway 😂😅)

He follows his father carrying a duffel bag with his ring gear in it as they make a bee line for Vince's office and John takes it all in as he walks a few steps behind his dad. He sees him stop at a door and before he knocks he looks back

Cena: "Ready? Once you enter here there's no turning back"

John: *takes a deep breath* "Yeah, let's do it"

Cena nods and knocks on the door and they both walk in to see the entire McMahon family there. Vince hops up as soon as he sees who it is and gives Cena a hug and he looks over at John

Vince: "Goodness it doesn't feel like you should be here right now, feels like only yesterday you were chasing everyone backstage with a kendo stick"

Everyone shares a laugh as Cena hugs everyone and John gets reacquainted with everyone who he hasn't seen in a long time. Once everyone sits down, Vince slides a piece of paper across the table

Vince: "Well let's get down to business. Here is your contract, 10 years 30 million, of course with endorsements it'll be more than that, you won't have very many house shows but we will ask you to do some every now and then with the big ones like MSG, Brooklyn, Chicago, LA places like that and you will have input with what creative you want for you. We will run everything by you first and you can add and subtract as you please before the show" he slides a pen over to him

John is taken aback by everything he is being offered. He knows part of it is because who his father is but he also knows that he is the top free agent in sports entertainment and they want to lock him up for a long time. He signs the contract and everyone stands up shaking hands

John: "So what's the plan for tonight?"

Hunter: "Now that is going to be a surprise, just make sure you watch your back because your opponent can strike out of nowhere"

John thinks he knows what he is talking about but he decides not to press it as they both walk out of the room and head for their locker room to change and get ready for the show to start because they don't want anyone to know that either one of them are there.

*Start of the show*

The intro plays for the show and a very familiar theme starts playing through the arena

Randy makes his slow walk to the ring and climbs on the turnbuckle and does his pose as he hopes down and grabs the mic

Randy: "Well after finally dealing with The Fiend at Mania i got word that i have been traded to Smackdown, which is perfect for me since i have beaten everyone there. I even took Edge out once again so now it's time to lay waste to the blue brand. So if anyone back there wants a piece of the Viper and wants to become a victim of the deadliest 3 letters in sports entertainment, come make my day" he throws the mic down and looks at the ramp waiting on someone

Cena puts his hat on and gets ready as he adjusts his shirt. He then hugs his son

Cena: "Let's do this" he says as his theme starts to fill the arena and the crowd goes absolutely insane

(A.N.: is it bad that i really miss hearing those trumpets every week on WWE tv? 😭)

Cena does his regular entrance and sprints down to the ring and stared Randy down for a few seconds before he finishes his entrance throwing his hat into the crowd and throwing up the 👌🏻 as he goes to grab a mic

Everyone in catering is going crazy not realizing that Cena was going to be there

Apollo Crews: "Holy shit i didn't know Cena was going to be here tonight!!"

Big E: "I wonder if we are getting another Cena Orton classic match"

Sasha: "He might be introducing a new superstar too"

Carmella: "Oooh i didn't even think about that. Who do you think it could be?"

They continue to speculate as Cena grabs the mic and looks at Randy again

Cena: "Hey Randy, it's been a little while" he says as he waits for the crowd to calm down again "Now don't worry and don't get your panties all in a bunch you won't be facing me tonight" the crowd groans at this "Ah ah ah but you are definitely going to like who i have to take my place." Randy looks at him a little intrigued "And you know him quite well actually, basically since he was born. But you know what, I'm going to ruin the surprise of it so why don't i just bring him out?"

The crowd cheers and Cena stands to the side as the arena goes black and on the screen there are some Roman numerals pop up on the screen

Then the theme starts again but instead of Cena being in the video package it says "John Cena III"

(Picture this but in the middle it says "John Cena III" and the colors are Black and Tan to match his gear)

The crowd goes insane, not having any idea that Cena had a son who wrestles and Randy's eyes go wide and he turns away from the camera trying not to break character because he is proud to finally have him here and he gets to be his first match.

Michael Cole: "Oh my god! Corey that's John Cena's son, John Cena!!!"

Corey Graves: "That's right Cole, the son of the 16 time world champion has finally come to the WWE"

Everyone in the back is going crazy as well, not expecting it to be Cena's son

Big E: "I had no idea Cena even had a son"

Kevin Owens: "I remember him, that's the Lieutenant! I remember wrestling him on the indies he never told me he was Cena's son"

Sasha though he had looked familiar but what Kevin said finally let it click in her head she remembers seeing him on ROH a couple years ago. He stood out then not looking like he belonged there and he was destined to be somewhere bigger and now he finally is. She is transfixed on him, how the tank top he is wearing looks painted on, the tattoos covering his arms, the beard. She finally snaps out of it when Bayley hits her arm

Bayley: "Someone likes John" she says in a sing song voice

Sasha: "How can i like him when i don't even know him. I just remember seeing him on ROH a few years ago and was remembering his match"

Bayley: "Mmmhm, now you might want to wipe the drool off the side of your face before someone sees"

Sasha hits her arm as they watch the TV as John slides in the ring and hugs his father tightly, then turning to Randy as he looks at him and he gives him a wave

John: "Hi uncle Randy" the camera picks up as he throws up the 👌🏻 with the music as Cena exits the ring and heads to the back to watch the match from gorilla as John throws his hat and tank top into the crowd and handing his shades to someone ringside as the ref rings the bells.

Out the gate, John hits the shoulder tackle and starts the "5 moves of death" just like Cena does but before he does the 5 knuckle shuffle Randy shoots up and gives him a little smirk

John: "I guess you've seen that move before huh?"

Randy: "Yeah a couple times" he says with a chuckle as they continue the match

25 minutes into the match and John had been holding his own against the viper, even countering out of a couple of RKO's but finally Randy connects one and goes for the cover and John kicks out at 2.9 and the crowd and Randy can't believe it. Randy is arguing with the ref and this gives John enough time to recover and drop Randy, finally able to hit him with the 5 knuckle shuffle

After hitting this John gets up and gets Randy and picks him straight up from the ground with him on his shoulders, showing off his strength as he climbs the ropes for a super attitude adjustment and goes for the cover

1-2-3!!! The bell rings and John has just got his first win in WWE

Ring announcer: "Here is your winner, John. Cena. The Third!!!" As the ref holds John's hand in the air in victory.

Randy slowly gets up and looks over at John like a proud uncle and holds his arms open for a hug and John walks over and hugs him as the crowd cheers. Randy whispers something in his ear and then let's go of the huge holding his arm up as well and then turning around and hitting an RKO out of nowhere on him and leaving him laying in the ring

Randy looks back and gives him a wink as he heads out of the ring and to the back as the show goes to commercial. John gets up and follows him through the curtain and is immediately wrapped in a headlock and given a noogie by Randy

Randy: "Why the hell didn't you tell me you were debuting tonight"

John: "I wanted to surprise you" he barely gets out while still in the headlock as he finally lets go

Randy: "Well you were great out there, you are going to do great things here"

Vince: "I couldn't agree more" Vince says as he goes to give John a handshake and Cena goes to hug his son

As this is happening the people in the next segment are coming into gorilla, Sasha is having a promo with Bianca Belair as Sasha walks into gorilla she greets everyone until she gets to John

(This gear but no green in her hair, it's solid blue)

Sasha: "Sasha Banks, but you can call me Mercedes" she says holding out her hand for him to shake and he takes it and shakes it

John: "John Cena, but call me John. I've seen your matches you are incredible"

Sasha: "Thank you, that was a hell of a debut yourself"

John: "Well thank you ma'am" he says as her music starts to play

Sasha: "That's my queue, I'll see you later John"

John: "Bye Mercedes" he says and waves as she goes through the curtain and he keeps looking at where she was standing

Randy: "Do i see little love birds floating around your head? Want her number?" As he drags John out of gorilla

John: "No you don't and no i don't. If she wants to give it to me she will give it to me, besides i just met her" he says walking off and heading for his locker room so he can shower and get ready to leave but Randy gives his sly smile

John gets to the locker room and is followed closely behind by his dad

Cena: "You did great out there son really. You are going to do great. I have to head to a film set but i left the rental car for you to get to the airport. I'll call you in a couple days" he says as he hugs his son tightly "I love you"

John: "I love you too dad. Have a safe flight and let me know when you land" he nods as he leaves the locker room

John hops in the shower and he gets changed. While he is bagging everything up he gets a text and he opens it

Hey, it's Mercedes. Randy gave me your number, if you have any questions or need anything just shoot me a message

John: "Damnit Randy" he says shaking his head as he sends her a message back

Yeah sorry about him he is like the uncle i never wanted 😂 but anything you need just let me know as well. See you next week"

He puts his phone in his pocket as he grabs his bag and heads for the rental car so he can get to the hotel
