Minnie-Chan: I have been wanting to do this for so long. Y/n is from Japan but moved to America due to her father's new job. You guys are eighteen and school ends in 4 months.

"Okay class! Everyone please calm down. Today we will be doing something new." The teacher Mrs. Smith says. She pulls out paper and envelopes from the top of her desk. "We will be doing Pen Pals! So for the rest of the year you will be required to write to your pen pal and yes it's for a grade." The teacher explains as she passes out paper and two envelopes one empty another with something inside, probably the letter from our pen pal.  As she passed it out she told us who got who. B/s/f got a guy named Tetsurō Kuroo. At last Mrs. smith got to me. "Y/n L/n...with Kozume Kenma.", she says as she gives me my paper and two envelopes. "Have fun Y/n!" She says as she goes back to the front. I open the envelope with the letter and start reading.

Dear L/n, 

 My name is Kozume Kenma. I like apple pie. Whenever I hear a song I like in the car, I roll down the window and yell out the lyrics. My mom throws snacks at me when I'm playing to not disturb me. A lot of people say I resemble a cat for some reason. Video gaming is a hobby. I play volleyball as another hobby, and I think a tomato is a devil fruit (which it is obviously). I also like to randomly yell at home for no reason. I added a picture of me in case you wanted to see what I look like.

I silently snicker. I take out the picture and see a guy with black roots and yellow tips. To be honest he does look like a cat, but he also looks pretty cute. I see another picture with Kenma and another guy with black rooster like hair. I put them to the side and get out my red gel pen and start writing.

Dear Kenma,

 I also like to play video games. Do you have Minecraft? What's your user?  My mom throws snacks at my head and tells me I should be studying instead but I know she just wants the best for me. I like to go out for midnight walks at the park. Also, who's that guy in the second picture, with the black rooster like hair? I like to yell when I die in Minecraft but then my mom tells me to shut up. I also added a picture of what I look like.

And that is basically how our friendship started. We exchanged numbers and I told him how ironic it was that our best friends are pen pals and he agreed. I told him that I'm originally from Japan and that I moved to America due to my father's new job. Our relationship escalated pretty quickly and soon enough we started dating.

~4 months later time skip brought to you by Kenma brutally slaughtering chickens in Minecraft~

"Well class. Good job! it's the last day of school and no one has failed. Though a few of you almost did." Mrs. Smith said smiling as she scanned the classroom. "So as a reward you guy can leave early. Have a great summer break!"

Everyone started whooping and hollering and saying thanks as they left. I quickly packed my stuff and waited for b/s/f to hurry up. When she finished, we waved goodbye to Mrs. Smith. We both rode in my car since b/s/f's parents didn't want her to drive their car ever since she almost hit a tree and narrowly missed removing a cats nine lives. I dropped her off and told her what time we were going to the airport. We had been planning to go to Nerima Ward to visit surprise visit Kenma and Kuroo, our boyfriends. I got to my house, greeted my parents, and went to my room to start packing. I had already planned to share an apartment with b/s/f. We would pay half/half rent. When I finished, I hopped onto my bed and just scrolled through my TikTok. 

"Y/n! I know you are still awake go to bed!" My mom shouts from downstairs.

"Yes mother!" I shout back as I turn off my phone and lay down.

~The Next day brought to you by Kenma's apple pies~

I wake up and groggily walk to the bathroom. I get through my entire routine and change into a black turtleneck cropped shirt with a white chained skirt and boots. I grab my suitcase, toast and hurry to my car. I drive to b/s/f's parents' house and honk my horn. They comes out 20 minutes later.

"Took you long enough." I say as soon as they settles down.

"Well, I was getting ready for my date Kuroo, ok. Leave me alone." they retorts back.

"Okay." I answer before starting the car and driving off to the airport.

~After the 13 hours later...~

"That was so longgggggg." I complain. 

"Never again." they replies. 

"Actually, we will to you know introduce them to our parents and visit our parents but not to worry that's in the future." I answer.

"Thank for the reminder." they replies sarcastically.

"Ok let's get going." I say as I drag my suitcase.

We take a taxi to Nerima Ward. I pay the bus driver 4,005.56¥.

"Text me the dets later!" I say as we head opposite ways.

"Obvs and have fun!" they replies running off.

I take a deep breath before repeatedly banging on Kenma's door.

Kenma's POV

"Who is banging on the door like that? It's too light to be Kuroo and even so he has keys.' I think as I pause my game and set the controller down.

"Coming!" I yell as I run down the stairs yet. Thankfully they stop. 

"Gomen! I was upstairs-" I start but cut off as I process who is in front of me.

Y/n L/n, my girlfriend, who is- was in america but is here now.

"Y/n...?" I ask in disbelief.

"Hey Kenma..Surprise?" She says in a questionable manner.

I immediately embraced her. She slowly embraces me back.

Y/n's POV

'I'm already enjoying my stay.' I think. Sadly I start to pull away. 

"So what were you doing?" I ask nonchalantly.

"I was playing Genshin Impact on my Play Station." He answers as he steps aside for me to enter.

"Cool." I say as I step in and look around. He has a pretty nice house.

"So are you staying for summer or here forever." He asks as he grabs my suitcase.

"From now own. Me and b/s/f were planning on renting an apartment together." I answer following him up the stairs.

"Well wanna stay here for now?" He asks setting my suitcase down.

"Sure. I'm sure b/s/f wouldn't mind spending more time with Kuroo." I answer as I sit criss-cross the floor with my phone in my hands already texting b/s/f. Once I'm done I set my phone down and walk over to Kenma and sit on his lap. 

"Hm?" He asks as he wraps his arms around me.

"Nothing, just wanna cuddle." I answer. He picks me up and lays down with me on the bed. I scoot closer to him and he wraps his arms around my waist.

"I love you Player 1." I mumble.

"I love you too Player 2." He says back.
