Every year when someone turns 18 you get a necklace of some sort. They give you a choice between a choker and a chain necklace. The choker or chain has a small gem of some sort that reflects the color of someone's eye but that gemstone lights up when you are near that person. If they have two eye colors you get two gemstones and if they are blind in one eye you get half of a gemstone and if they are blind all together they get a clear gemstone. Once you find your soulmate the gemstone turns into a ring. You can save the rings or sell them but you keep the choker or chain. Once in 110 years, there will be someone who doesn't have a soulmate. But it is also common for someone to like another but that person does not return the feelings. They can choose to get a different soulmate or be single. I personally dislike the thought of soulmates. why can't you just find your lover on your own? Why does the galaxy have to choose for you? But even so I still chose the choker because it would look awesome on my Nekoma school uniform. The next morning I woke and went straight to the mirror to see what color eyes my soulmate has. I had a golden gemstone on my choker.

I was stunned. That gemstone looked expensive. I decided I would keep the ring once/if I found my soulmate. After a while it staring at the gemstone I decided to get ready so I wouldn't be late. I made sure to look at myself in the mirror before leaving and let me just tell you, I killed the look. I grabbed a toast and ran out into my red jeep. I drove to school as fast as the speed limit would allow and guess what I had 5 minutes to spare. I quickly went to the gym to meet my best friend and manager, b/f/n.( I'm a third year and assistant manager, b/f/n is manager and a third year. "Omg I love your look." She/he said as soon as she/he saw me. "Aw thanks!" I said smiling. "But seriously if I was gay(if your best friend is a girl, if not just ignore this sentence) I would do ask you to marry me here and now." She/ he continued. "Seriously stop the team is looking." I said smacking her arm. "Why they should be looking. You look absolutely stunning." She exclaimed on purpose. The team started giving us weird looks and I smiled apologetically at them. They all smiled back with a small blush on their faces. Guess I really did look that good huh? Pushing that out of my head, I looked around saw number 5, Kenma, wasn't here. "Where's Kenma? We have to get to the training camp and we cant be late, it will look bad on the school." I asked The team looking specifically at Kuroo. He just shrugged. " Kuroo? " I asked with a raised eyebrow. "He stayed up late last night finishing a huge project he has due today but he's coming. He should be here right about.....now" he said nodding his head at the now entering Kenma. I felt so bad for him when I saw his fatigued figure. He was still wearing his chain necklace with a e/c gemstone.(Kenma had turned 18 three months ago. It's December) Once he reached us he bowed and apologized. "Gomen Y/n and B/f/n. I didn't mean to come late." I felt so bad. " Its ok but try to sleep in the bus ok? " I told him worriedly. Now during this whole time our gem had been flowing radiating this beautiful gold and e/c glow that mixed together. I turned around to see why everyone was so quiet. "Why are you all so silent?" I asked. "Um Y/n..uh..your choker is uh...glowing. " B/f/n told me. "Oh..um..okay. So who else's chain/choker is glowing? " I asked getting more nervous by the second. All b/f/n did was point behind me. I slowly turned to see Kenma. I looked down and saw his gemstone glowing as well. He looked just as nervous as me. "Let's all start filing into the bus, yeah?" B/f/n said breaking the silence. I slowly nodded my head while still staring at Kenma. B/f/n had to pull me into the bus before I regained my senses. "Kenma is my soulmate!!!" I whisper shouted at her/him while sitting down next to her/him. "Yeah and sorry not really but this seat is for Kuroo. Go sit next to Kenma~" She/he said pushing me. I huffed and looked around to find anywhere to sit but to my dismay the only free seat was next to Kenma. I turned and glared at b/f/n. She just smirked. I walked and say next to Kenma. He was flustered at first saying gomen while moving closer to the window until he couldn't and he just stayed there until he fell asleep. I was staring at Kenma while he was sleeping. Taking in his catlike features. When he moved his hair covered his face so I moved it back and when I did he let out this really small but super cute purr. 'Awww! That is soo cuteeee!!!!!' I was fangirling in my head. Before I stopped myself. 'What am I doing? I have never felt this way towards Kenma before. Or have I? Maybe I have but I've been saying he was just a friend. And recently I have been getting flustered a lot. Just by the littlest things he does.' The entire time I was awake(which wasn't that long) I second guessed my feelings for Kenma. After a second guessing myself to 10 minutes before clearing my mind. 'I love him.' I told myself strictly. 'And I will until the day I die!' That was the last thought that processed through my head before I fell asleep on Kenma's shoulder.

When you reach the training camp

I was so embarrassed. When I woke up everyone was crowding me and Kenma. Apparently they woke up before us and saw how we were laying on each other. They thought it was cute. B/f/n snapped a few pictures. Kenma was trying to explain that it wasn't what it looked like and that it was an accident but they kept teasing him. By the time we were off the bus me and Kenma were so flustered I looked like a cherry on a DQ Cherry Shake or Malt. Kenma looked like a tomato.

Even bigger timeskip to when the teams are in there clubrooms or something(I don't know how to describe it)

"You boys gonna eat or not? " I ask them holding 4 plates on a waiter plate. "Hai!" They all say hurriedly sitting down. I walk to the end to start setting down the food. Guess what? Kenma was the first person at the end. He had been laying his head down so when he felt a presence he lifted his head to see who it was. He and I immediately became flustered as we made eye contact. everyone around us 'Oo'ed. I set down his food and continued to the next person but before I left I heard him say a quiet 'arigato'. I turned and smiled at him which caused him to blush some more. I then turned back and set three more plates at Kuroo, Yaku, and Yamamoto. "Hey Y/n this is really good! Did you make it?" Kuroo stated. "Oh um yeah" I replied nervously. "It's really good!" Yamamoto said joining the conversation. "It's good isn't it Kenma" Kuroo said teasing him. "Y-yeah.." Kenma said looking down at his plate. "Um thanks for the compliments, all of you." I said before walking off to get some more for the others. Once all the boys had been served me and b/f/n sat down and ate our own. Once we were finished we got up and went to do the dishes but Kenma and Kuroo stopped us. " Its ok we can do it. " Kuroo said grabbing b/f/b's plate only. "U-uh yeah. You guys already made dinner. Let us wash the dishes." Kenma added while taking my plate. Our fingers brushed for a few seconds and we looked away flustered.

Sorry for all the timeskips but I want to have all my drafts done before 2022.

"Okay everyone! We will be playing Truth or dare! So please get in a circle! By the way once you start you can't stop!" Kuroo exclaimed like a game show host. We all did as he said nonetheless and we were quick to start. Kuroo immediate pounced on me.   "Y/n Truth or Dare?" "Um..dare!" I said unsure at first but satisfied with my answer. "Oh bold are we?" Kuroo asked cockily.(is that even the right spelling?) I firmly nodded my head yes. "Well then I dare you to sit on Kenma's lap for the rest of them game." Kuroo exclaimed smirking smugly. ' oh shit.' I said in my head. I slowly crawled over to Kenma who was sitting next to Kuroo who was across from me so I went across the circle crawling. Once I reached them, I got pulled into someone's lap. But it was no surprise when I saw it was Kenma. He wrapped his arms around my waist and set his head between the crook of my neck. I blushes furiously. And it wasn't helping that everyone was smirking. "Let's just continue the stupid game." I cried out. "B/f/n Truth or Dare?" I asked. "Truth/Dare!" She/he said

"Dare: I dare you kiss your soulmate!"

B/f/n quickly did the dare/truth and moved on. We played until it for back to me and Kenma. "Kenma Truth or Dare?" Yaku asked. "Um.. Truth.." He said nervously. "How long have you liked Y/n?" Yaku asked smirking. This instantly got my attention. I was intrigued. I turned around as best as I could to look at him. "He looked at the door before answering. "About 6 years. Middle school 1st year. We were partnered up for a group project and we stayed up all night. She was over at my place and while doing the project she fell asleep. She looked really pretty and calm while sleeping and that's when I realized I had a crush on you." He said looking at me while smiling as he said that last part. "I know you guys are probably thinking creepy much? Who watches someone sleep but I found it relaxing so excuse me." Kenma said the last part. "Go off queen! " me and b/f/n said in perfect sync. Kenma blushes and hid face in my neck again. I just smiled and the game continued on until coach told us all to go to bed. While trying to get up I skipped on a blanket and fell on top of kenma causing us to KISS!!! As soon as I found my footing I got up and started apologizing like crazy. "Gomen Kenma! I slipped on a blanket I didn't mean to." I constantly told him I'm sorry and the whole time the team was staring. Kenma got tired of trying to ask me to stop saying sorry so he pulled me close to him, and kissed me. I was shocked, eyes wide open until I started to slowly close my eyes and melt into the kiss. He broke it a few minutes later. "Now stop apologizing. I already said it was fine." I was at a loss for words so all I could do was nod. My trembling hands and went up to my lips and just layed my fingers there for a while. While I was staring at nothing, I registered getting pulled by someone. Soon enough we came to a stop and the person pulling me came into view. Kenma. "Hey uh wanna sleep with me?" He asked staring at the ground. I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Sure why not!" We lied down on his bed/sleeping bag and fell asleep in each other's arms. I can only imagine what the team and b/f/n are gonna think when they find us sleeping together but oh well because that is for another day that is not today.(Idk of they had beds or not sooooo)
