I get woken up by the blinding lights of dawn. I stretch before crawling out of bed. I look around the room for any kinds of necessities like maybe a hairbrush. Fortunately I could find one followed by some perfume and other hygienic products I can use in the hot springs. I also found a book with all the rules and history of the monastery written in it. The cover reads 'Guide to your new school'. I flip through it a bit before hearing a knock. I close the book and walk up to the door. I unlock it and peek outside to see who it is, Thankfully it's just Byleth who's holding my uniform. "Morning" I say, still having the door cover my clothes. "Good Morning, I've brought your new clothes, put them on and then we'll go to class." He hands me the items. I grab them, excuse myself and lock the door to change. I look at my new clothes, the whole thing resembles Ingrids uniform perfectly, the only difference are the shoes, they're only simple flats. I also have black over knee stockings. I quickly put it on and comb through my hair a bit to look presentable and then go back to the door. I walk out and see Byleth observe me from head to toe. I lock my dorm room and hid the key in one of my pockets. "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!" I start walking and Byleth quickly catches up. I lead away the fastest way to the classrooms. "You know you're way pretty well." I laugh a little, "I know the monastery grounds like the back of my hand! It feels so good to finally be able to see everything first hand." Byleth looks as if he were to comment something but decides not to. Before I know it we're standing infront of the golden deer room. "Follow me to the front" my teacher says and I nod. We walk in and the rowdy class gets silent by my presence. We walk to the front and I turn around only to see the whole class' eyes being fixed on me. I look at my hands fiddling with the hems of my shirt. God this is embarrassing. I hate introductions. "Ok class from today on you will have a new student going to your class. If you could introduce yourself to class?" He looks at me and I nod before facing the class again. "H-hello my name's (y/n) I'm (y/a) years old. This will be my first day in the officers academy so I hope we can become great friends." I smile a little at the end. "Thank you (y/n) you may sit in the back row." Byleth explains. I nod again and walk to my assigned seat, on the way there I spot Claude looking intensely at me. Our eyes meet and I can't help but smile and wave while passing. He waves back and goes back to looking to the blackboard. I sit down and class starts.

As soon as the first break starts literally everyone comes to my table and bombs me with questions. Oh fuck what should I say??? "Everyone please don't talk over each other. She is clearly overwhelmed by all the questions! Why don't we start by introducing us?" Claude says to silence everyone. No one seems to be against it so he continues, "My name is Claude von Riegan, I'm the house leader of the golden deer, I'm also the heir to the Leictester Alliance. A pleasure to have you in our house! But no need for formalities with me, I'm just a student as everyone else here." He smiles, but his eyes tell another story. I smile back and greet him. The others do as he did and also introduce themselves. After Ignatz is done with his the questions start again. "Where are you from?" asks Hilda. "Just a small town, I can't tell you in which country though. All I can say is I was nowhere near fodlan born." The reactions are greatly different. "Are you a commoner or why did you not give us a second name?" Lorenz asks, of course he would. " I'm just a simple commoner with no crest. Or do I? I still need to talk to professor Hanneman about it. I literally arrived yesterday. About the last name part, I do have one but I don't want to share it. I don't really like it that much" the second I said commoner his demeanor turned into boredom. I didn't expect less of him. "What do you like to do in your spare time?" Lysithea asks. "Well, I like to draw and read. I also like to relax and eat sweets!" Ignatz lights up at the mention of drawing, just as Hilda does as I talked about relaxing and eating sweets. So predictable, but I love these dorks so much. They ask some more like "Why are you transferring in the middle of the year?" but I can't answer as break just ended. Time for some more lessons.

"So our assignment for this month is to find Flayn?" Claude asks. "Yes, so I hope you can try to use your spare time to search for her. On sunday we will form a big search party, till then try your best. Her safety is the most important thing in this situation." Byleth ads before ending class. He walks to the door and stops before turning back to me, "Also (y/n), Lady Rhea has requested your presence. If you don't know how to get to her, ask one of your new classmates to show you the way. That's all" and he leaves. "Want me to show you?" I turn to the handsome voice and see Claude smiling at me. "Thank you so much! I'd probably get lost the second I leave the classroom" I laugh and start walking out with Claude following. I wait until he's ahead to lead the way and continue walking besides him. "Soooo, you couldn't answer that last question and I'm still curious about it. Why have you transferred here in the middle of the school year?" He looks at me slightly with his small grin resting on his features. I glance at his lips for a millisecond before looking back at the path. "Well... that's a long story and I don't know if I can tell you..." "So you don't trust me yet? The cautious type I see ∼ ." he grins some more. "So if I were to befriend you, I could learn all of your secrets? ∼ " I laugh and turn my head back to him to see him in his full glory. "Ha ha we'll see about that." that's when I feel someone tucking my left arm. I stop in my tracks and look at the person in question. "Hello there cutie, I've not seen you around yet. My name is Sylvain and spotting pretty women is my game! Care to have a cup of tea with me sometime?" The red head winks at me suggestively. I giggle, oh god I totally forgot that he's so cute! "Don't listen to him. He's used that exact line on every other girl back there." Claude tucks at my other arm, he tries to get me away from Sylvain but I keep standing where I'm currently at. "Aw that's too bad. I would've loved to spend time with you, I still have somewhere important where I have to be right now too, so maybe some other time?∼ " I wink. "Ok, See you soon my lovely" He says and respond my own goodbye. "You really wanna give him a chance? I've heard that he has broken every girls heart he's met." The brunette has one of his eyebrows raised in a questioningly manner. "Well then it's good that my heart already belongs to someone else. I really just want to befriend him, it's never bad to have friends from another class right?" he nods and stops in front of two big double doors. "Well we're here. Want me to walk you up to Lady Rhea or do you think you can handle this one yourself?" he smirks and I smirk back "heh I'm a big girl Claude, I dress myself every morning without the help of my mother! Now that's what I call being independent." I prop my hands on my hips in a proud way. Claude laughs and walks back to where we came from. The guards open the doors for me and I walk in. I see Rhea standing in her usual spot as always, Seteth nowhere to be found. I walk over to her and curtsy while greeting her. "Oh please no need for curtsying before me. Now tell me, what else do you know about the kidnapping of Flayn?" I walk a little closer to her and tell her in a hushed voice "We better find a place where noone can hear us for that." She nods and leads me to hear own bed chambers. She closes her door and i start talking. "Now Flayn, like I said will live. But we only have until the end of the month for that. Thankfully Byleth has formed a search troop for the weekend in which I will be a part of. Now as to why this is happening? The kidnappers want her blood, but also want to stir up confusion. You know Jeritza? He's the one responsible for the kidnapping. His real identity is also the Death Knight, you should've encountered him already to my knowledge." "And who does he work for?" "The Flame Emperor, an individual of vicious intent, yet also the calmest of the bunch. They try not to harm the students of the academy, but still work for their ideals." "I will take my leave then" I walk out and return outside. I feel my stomach rumbling and tag over to the dining area to see what's for dinner. I take a plate of the served food and walk up to a table that's empty. I sit down and start eating my food in silence. Ah I still can't belive this is really happening to me. My thoughts get interrupted by a group of students standing before me. It's Claude, Hilda, Lysithea, Raphael and Lorenz. "Is this spot taken?" Hilda asks in her sweet voice. "Oh no, please take a seat" I grin at them. Raphael and Lysithea decide to sit next to me and the other three sit on the other side of the table. We chat and get to know each other better while eating. As I finish I excuse myself and bring back my dirty dishes to the counter. I leave the cafeteria and walk back to the dorm rooms on the first floor. I walk to Byleths room and knock. Thankfully he's there and opens the door. "Hello professor, I have a request.." "What do you want?" "W-well, I'm no good with weapons and I'm fairly certain I'm unable to wield magic, so I'd like to train with you some of the basics to see what maybe could be good with me... Of course only if you have time and want to do it!" "Sure" I smile brightly. Yes now I should be able to survive this war hat's going to happen in less than a year! " We will meet up from tomorrow on every day and train after dinner to see what you're made off." "sure!" he nods and says his goodbyes. "Bye-leth" I snicker before running to the amiibo gazebo. Oh fuck that must've been so cringey of meeeeee. Guess I'll have that haunt my dreams from now on.
